My son has been watching your channel for a bit over a year and has become obsessed with your farm. We have had chickens for a while but his interests were elsewhere until he started watching your channel. He wants the incubator so we can hatch quail. God bless, and thank you for getting my sons interests to things on the farm.

Yay, success!!! Congratulations on hatching your first Indio Gigante chick!🎉🐣 Those tiny button quail are so adorable! I teared up when you showed the almost (only) 2 month old teaching the new babies what to do and keeping them warm. Birds, and nature in general, are so amazing. We love our chickens and all 36 have names. Our dark brahmas are the sweetest chickens we've ever had. I would love to try hatching our own eggs in an incubator. Thank you so much for sharing this very heartwarming video.✌️🐣🐥🐓❤

I’ve had loads of broody button quail A little tip for you they like being in a environment that is dark on the bottom of the floor so if you put them in a small cage with lots of foliage and put a male and a female together she will choose an Area where to lay and just leave her and then constantly she will come back and then eventually sit on them 😊

    • @TheBirbKing
      @TheBirbKing Год назад +1

      My buttons go broody
sometimes but they are not very consistent. The first 2 times they abandoned the nest after 3 days. One time one of my females sat good for over 2 weeks, then I found the eggs cold and scattered out of the nest. I put them in the incubator and 4 hatched.

@@TheBirbKing they are very nervous birds i had an aviary full of them and I used to be around them 24/7 so my lot got used to me you need to put a bonded pair together and you will definitely get chicks you just need to make the right habitat for them and give them all the right foods and you should have a problem I wish RUclips videos and pictures on I will send you a picture

I love watching you with all the birds. The chick's remind me when I was young my grandparents would buy 100 new chick's every year and I got to raise them. I never questioned what happened to them but later learned that every fall they would butcher them for our freezers. I understand why they did it and don't have a problem with it. I still every year love when the stores have chick's days and can enjoy going in and seeing the babies. Those babies made me smile tonight. Thanks for sharing.

Yes, yes, yes! I would love to have an incubator! I've been raising chickens for many years and usually add to my flock every spring. This year with the cost of chicks, feed and hay increasing so much I've cut back a bit. It would be such a wonderful experience hatching my own! I've never sold the eggs that my girls lay. I give them away. Hopefully it helps a few families who don't have much. Anyway, I would really like to try hatching my own. I've learned quite a lot from your show over the years regarding chickens. You both have a fine family! It has been fun watching your children grow. I'm 68 years old and will probably have chickens until the end. ❤🐣🐥🐓🐔❤ Wishing your family the best! 1:42

He grew into a nice strong rooster and at 4 weeks l had him in an aquarium with another quail near him. After a few days l put them together for a few hours a day until they callmed down. He was white so l could tell he was doing his job when several white chicks hatched over the next 6 months.

Quails popped out before the chicks, they were so tiny & super fast, I even discovered one crushed in the incubator door, I was so vigilant & didn't know how he zoomed fast, but they didn't know how to eat ir drink I was trying hard to teach them, but when tge chicks hatched they naturally ate & drank, the little quails thought the chicks were the mothers & learnt to eat/peck from them

Hi! I would really love to also hatch some button quails for in my garden. We're redesigning everything and I think they would make a great addition.
Love to you and your family❤

Yes, would love to have it. We have to start somewhere. My California whites do not want to sit on any eggs and my rooster is doing his job.
Glad you finally got the second attempt to work.

We would love the incubator. My 6 yr old watches y’all and we have our own chickens but she wants to incubate and hatch some herself, with my help of course. Love your show.

I have this incubator, I'm glad you did this video. The water bottle challenged me too but a normal coke bottle works fine I just had 6/6 hatch again

Hello my name is Keegan McCarty I am 13 trying to grow my own chicken flock. I really like your videos and have always wanted to hatch out chicks but I have no broody hen to hatch out the chicks and not enough money to buy an incubator. I also probably won’t hatch a lot so that incubator is the perfect size. I don’t care if I get it I just love your vids and have a GREAT DAY!

Hey me and my son watch your show every week. I'm a single father and my son is on the autism spectrum and loves watching your family. He's been bugging me for awhile to hatch some chickens and we would love to try out that incubator. We live in Florida so holding the heat probably won't be much of a problem with the warm temps here. Hope to hear from you.

Hello White House on The Hill, Thank you for the opportunity to get an incubator, my name is Eddy from Rwanda, I would like the incubator to hatch chicken breed that is known as 'Kuroiler' here in the East Africa for our backyard chicken at home, Getting the incubator would really make a difference. Thank you and Good luck to all.

Hello White House On The Hill, have you heard of Sugru? It's a mouldable glue. It's a putty. I think it would help you out with the little gaps you find in incubators from the tube connectors & seal it for you.

❤❤I am in joy watching your videos. I always wanted an incubator to hatch my own eggs. I just don't have the money to buy one yet. I would be so excited to get one. I help out with people who would love to see chicks hatching out of their egg. About 4 years ago I helped them start a community garden, planting and taking care of the veggies for them to take home or give to someone in need. ❤❤ Good luck to the win.

Shoot, my kids would take it. They are working on some Ayam Cemani mixes and Mille Fluer d'Uccle mixes right now and have had decent success with our cheap incubator currently, but its one of those large circular ones that is too squat on the cover to allow most chicks to stand upright (probably only going to be used for the bantams and quail in the future), so we've been looking for a replacement anyways.

You should design your own Incubator, since you have tested so many, you already know what a perfect incubator should have.
