- In this video I take my 600hp 1999 Ford F-250 7.3 Powerstroke "Shorty" For It's first test drive after putting the new engine in! I include clips of me cruising the truck on a low hp tune, showing my newly installed Glow Shift Gauges working properly, as well as drive by clips of the truck. Thank you for watching this series! You see a lot of these in Brazil. They made shortbed regular cab f250s in São Paulo. None of them had Powerstrokes tho. It was all 4.2 inline 6 diesels produced by MWM, a Brazilian subsidiary of Navistar
It's a really weird company apparently MWM was originally made by caterpillar and then later got bought by international I might be wrong though. Badass little engines though!

This is a super cool build! I built a 2002 7.3 shorty, with a 4 inch lift, 2005 axles and 40 inch tires. Not as good of a rock crawler as i hoped, but it looks like a mini monster truck

What size wheel/tires did you use? I have a 2000 F350, RWD, can’t seem to get a straight answer on a wheel tire setup that works on RWD 7.3’s

What max temp egt do you see pushing the pedal
Id reccomend keeping the tailgate on. It has actually been proven that it is more aerodynamic.
What do you have done for front suspension?

Truck is badass, but the 4r100s are the way to go if you wanna make reliable power especially over 500, curious if you’ve had any problems with it yet
NO WAY ! A built zf6 with stage 3 components will walk a 4r100

ZF6 = 6 forward gears. Just because it has an L doesnt make it not a forward gear
In need a manual so fucking bad my trucks got irate Efuel 180/30 injectors kc300x, adrenaline Hpop just lag out at some points but it’s got balls when I stomp on it but a manual will fix it

pretty much doing the same setup in my 7.3 right now but was looking into doing head studs and other supporting mods in the heads are you running stock heads and head studs or no ?

@@Youraveragepowerstroke For putting that power down and staying in boost. That truck sounds like it spends more time off throttle in between shifts than it does actually accelerating.
Going easy on the brand new clutch. But yeah if I wanted to drag race it auto is faster any day no doubt. More of a fun street truck for me. Zf6 will last longer as well.
