After finally getting to test this: Imo this is a great stage to try and farm accessories. Didn't get lucky with Yasakani (or Tokichiro's Gourd), but saw plenty of other good divine accessories. You get less Amrita and + gears than doing the Otakemaru stage run for in exchange more chances at Accessories. If unlucky with accessories you also have high chances at some Soul Cores (2 Enki and 1 Ippon as Dark Realm Masters with high drop chance and Enenra) which are nice to help level your Shiftling, as well as a whooping 5+ chances to find a Kappa (aka lots of loot, I only ever saw one in Otakemaru's stage) and the chance at that Mujina (aka more loot) in the underground's chest. Kappa spots i saw: 1. in the water just before the 2nd shrine 2. in the underground on the way to the 3rd accessory spot 3. near the Enki that's the master of the 2nd Dark Realm 4. to the side of the building with the 3rd shrine near a pool of water with an enemy hidden by a Dark Realm cloud (you can see a red spot when standing at the 3rd shrine if you have enemy sensor) 5. after jumping out of that last building on the way to spots 7 and 8, close to the two Dwellers tl;dr: Nice change of pace from trying the Otakemaru farming route and definetly vastly suprior to farming Abduction in terms of basically everything (Amrita, divine + gear drops, Soul Core drops). Still RNG is RNG. D:

This mission actually drops better than the abduction mission. I farmed 6 yasas from this mission yesterday, with average of 20 runs for each (which is 320 loot). For abduction, it was always 500+ runs for me to get 1 yasa (1000+ loot). Thank you for the video 😆

Interesting, I never knew this mechanic existed - I've never, on any level, opened a chest and not auto-take everything! While I'm not looking forward to doing this grind - it's really great to know that there's a pretty reliable method when I want to get a better Yasakani. Thanks for the video!

This was pre dlc when people started accessing strong difficulty. It still works great. Only issue is that you gotta wait for the rotation every time you wanna do this as it's not accessible everyday.
Aboodinator Gaming no problem man. And I got the first one from the Ippon yokai realm that turns into a dark realm almost right after the first shrine. I killed him and he dropped it. The second one was the first accessory spot by the water near the second shrine.
Glad it helped. Yeah I farmed Abduction for 2 hours and got nothing and then started to look for a stage accessible early on strong difficulty and had a lot of accessory drops. I found this to be the best. Problem is it is available once every 3 or 4 days.
I just did it and it worked! I'm on version 1.12 and it took about 8 or 9 tries. Dream of the Strong mode, no cups used, Luck is only 41. I did use a Luck Talisman right before clearing the drops, so maybe that contributed. It may seem frustratingly tedious at times, but it's totally worth the grind! Good luck to anyone reading this.
While Abudction is great and Fast (Bomb or nuke 3 Yokai, pick up, run back reset at shrine and try again), if you are willing to spend Cups or just keep doing things over and over again easily which is great if you just want to do/watch other stuff on the side This path is limited based on if the Twilight Mission is up, and requires a bit more focus (Not much you can run pass every enemy with Sneaking Jutsu and such just need to make sure you go to the right spots and don't hit any enemies) But it's great for saving Cup, and once you get the entire mission and what you need to pick up memorized you can probably get it done with Tiger running in about 2 minutes if you check every accessory spot and open each chest and shortcut and then reset and shrine for a 2nd chance. Comes down to preference no real best way to farm it just preferred methods. Since at the end of the day it's going to be all up to RNG and how long you are willing to grind. This method is actually how I got my first one and probably be my preference of farming it when I need Eternal Version and want to save Cups or just have time to grind

You got to beat the 2nd main mission in 1st region on new game+, then it'll appear. It was open yesterday though, so another 2 to 3 days before it reappears
I think this is pretty good...I feel like the mission Abduction is pretty good as it's got a guaranteed accessory drop immediately in front of spawn guarded by 3 basic enemies. Spawn it and shrine until you get it, branch out. Can do several attempts in the space of a minute
Hardcore players can't have enough yasas man, for the different builds they have. I assume you're one them hardcore players judging by the number of yasas you possess.

New to game and start my NG+. I got my first Yasakani in 1st run Abduction then repeat got it again 2nd try. So basically when i get into the eye of the beholder my Total Yasakani is 3

Got it! Even better, I saw this video last night as I was grinding abduction for about an hour and a half. I put yasakani farming videos on autoplay and noticed this video was different. Between restarting missions, my Twilight Mission changed to the level used in this video, so I figured I would try it out. I got one on my first try! I used no cups, my gear is not rolled out with luck, and I have no ninjutsu tools ready. I think I found it at the fifth or sixth accessory spot.
as soon as you start dream of the strong the 2nd difficulty after clearing the game the 1st time. of course you have to beat the enenra stage to get access to the twilight version of the mission

did you temper anything with your luck ?? or just played as it is as i am trying to figure out if luck stats affect the divine item drop rate when it comes to loot
It should, however the drop rate in scrolls and normal gameplay as well as the availability of accessory drop effect that can be tempered on accessories in higher difficulties makes this unnecessary.

If every armor has the luck stat, guardian spirit is itokuri and clan is Gamo, abduction is quicker to get a yasakani, normally in less than 10 try. No need to farm yasakani as one is more than enough.
From multiple people's testing luck and item drop rate have no influence on what the fixed items spots drop, making Abduction farm for any accessory highly inefficient. If you only want a single Yasakani to be happy you're much better off speedrunning to the last main mission in NG+ as that rewards you with a Yasakani for first completion.
I've tested this before recording the video. I didn't notice any difference in the drop rate of devine items from loot. For those making multiple builds, It is much better to have a yasakani for each build. Even if you were going for your first yasakani, what's the point of getting it after you finish the last stage in way of the strong as I would much rather experience the strong difficulty at full power.

I said speedrunning to the last mission is much better than wasting time farming Abduction. ;) I didn't get to try the Enenra twilight mission yet, but I'm pretty sure hat even with the high number of tries this map offers getting a Yasakani will still stay RNG (on top of the RNG for getting this map as twilight mission ;) ). I'll report back on this once I actually had a chance to try it. Also since you can do missions in alost any order you want there is no real "last mission" for NG+. The last one I cleared was the Shibata Katsuie one because I wanted to fully dominate him after the pain he put me through in NG. Either way if i have the choice of getting a fixed Yasakani (from 1st completion of the last main mission) or trying my luck with RNG I'll personally favor going for the fixed Yasakani everytime as to not potentially waste hours in which I already could have gotten the fixed one and done even more stuff. NG+ is not so hard that it absolutely requires a Yasakani to finish. Nioh 2's NG+ is much easier overall than NG with the ability to summon benevolent graves (buff them with Steel and Rejuvenation and they can last almost a full boss fight, you don't even need to buff them with Protection in most cases) and some late NG Yokai abilities being ridiculously powerful for NG+. Sure benevolent graves appear in NG too, but chances are rather high that you cannot buff them for most of NG, while in NG+ you should have better Onmyo levels as well as the ability to party-buff and maybe even the Onmyo speedcast ultimate. Going full power is completely overkill with the game's current content, I'm really hoping they release the DLCs with NG++ and above soon. :)

For those wanna know how to maximise their chances of getting a yasakani I made this video as the abduction stage wasn't really working for me. I am excited for the DLC also

Finally got a Yasakani (my 3rd total) from this mission! :D
The Mujina chest was there, I used gestures to not break stealth and it dropped one.

Took me 3 tries. Used ebisus grace/kodama bowl with Itukari/kodama core. Tried it on Dream of Wise for Divine and ethereal drop rates.

that's the number of soul cores not yet purified. If you noticed, killing the enki didn't trigger the icon, absorbing the soul core did.

problem is most accessory rich stages are towards the end game or in the DLCs.
Got it on the 5th run on the Dream of the Daemon difficulty - so got a lvl 170 (+9) Yasakani.

For some reason the chests near the lasr shrine and behind the enki only gave me 1 hakama and no accessories, is it not guaranteed drop anymore?
It happened to me once with the chest behind the enki once before. But it was only once. Never with the 1 near the shrine.

if this mission is all the way at the end game might as well fight the last boss and get it unless if you're trying to min max your yasakani accesory

Yes it can, that's what makes this stage perfect for farming. It's open early on.

It's a side mission in region 4. Most people are using it to farm Yasakani

@@nioh2_mods820 because people want to get it as early as possible. If i remember correctly its only guaranteed when you beat the the first time on NG+ after that its farming.

@@aboodinatorgaming1929 funny enough I got other 2 yasakanis shortly after my 1st one using this method, so I have 5 now, on my 3rd build right now using kusarigamas, might do a dual swords as the 4th and no plans for the 5th yet

awesome vid. got a 170 Toshiie & Magatama so far. gonna keep going until i get a Yasakani. a like & a sub from me :)
If every armor has the luck stat, guardian spirit is itokuri and clan is Gamo, abduction is quicker to get a yasakani, normally in less than 10 try. No need to farm yasakani as one is more than enough.
From multiple people's testing luck and item drop rate have no influence on what the fixed items spots drop, making Abduction farm for any accessory highly inefficient.
If you only want a single Yasakani to be happy you're much better off speedrunning to the last main mission in NG+ as that rewards you with a Yasakani for first completion.
I've tested this before recording the video. I didn't notice any difference in the drop rate of devine items from loot. For those making multiple builds, It is much better to have a yasakani for each build. Even if you were going for your first yasakani, what's the point of getting it after you finish the last stage in way of the strong as I would much rather experience the strong difficulty at full power.

I said speedrunning to the last mission is much better than wasting time farming Abduction. ;)
I didn't get to try the Enenra twilight mission yet, but I'm pretty sure hat even with the high number of tries this map offers getting a Yasakani will still stay RNG (on top of the RNG for getting this map as twilight mission ;) ). I'll report back on this once I actually had a chance to try it.
Also since you can do missions in alost any order you want there is no real "last mission" for NG+. The last one I cleared was the Shibata Katsuie one because I wanted to fully dominate him after the pain he put me through in NG.
Either way if i have the choice of getting a fixed Yasakani (from 1st completion of the last main mission) or trying my luck with RNG I'll personally favor going for the fixed Yasakani everytime as to not potentially waste hours in which I already could have gotten the fixed one and done even more stuff.
NG+ is not so hard that it absolutely requires a Yasakani to finish. Nioh 2's NG+ is much easier overall than NG with the ability to summon benevolent graves (buff them with Steel and Rejuvenation and they can last almost a full boss fight, you don't even need to buff them with Protection in most cases) and some late NG Yokai abilities being ridiculously powerful for NG+. Sure benevolent graves appear in NG too, but chances are rather high that you cannot buff them for most of NG, while in NG+ you should have better Onmyo levels as well as the ability to party-buff and maybe even the Onmyo speedcast ultimate.
Going full power is completely overkill with the game's current content, I'm really hoping they release the DLCs with NG++ and above soon. :)
@@Temuorin I was actually replying to Gao's comment. I agree with most of what you said and have no issue with it at all. Different people like to experience the game in a different way. For those wanna know how to maximise their chances of getting a yasakani I made this video as the abduction stage wasn't really working for me. I am excited for the DLC also
