I lost my (very senior position) 25 year career as a registered nurse thanks to moronic medical bureaucrats and the government. Cannot stand any of them. So glad I’m out of healthcare- it’s a total embarrassment and hopefully one day the appropriate people will be prosecuted.
    Weak people make hard times.
Total weakness shown by senior healthcare going along with lies.

@@poodledaddles1091What’s sad is that many who stayed and took the jab probably convinced themselves they were right, even though they could feel how wrong the whole thing was. I think that, when going along with a bully’s demands, people have one of two choices. They can go along with the bully and convince themselves that it was their choice or the right choice later or they can admit they acted out of cowardice. It’s very likely that most people rationalize and convince themselves they were right all along. Cowardice creates delusional people.

I had heard of CV before the 19 variant came along, so when 19 started to make the news cycle, I initially and in retrospect, naively thought the medical community reaction would be similar to H1N1. We exercised extra precautions to protect the most vunerable and we came up with an EUA monovalent vaccine for the H1N1 strain to be used with the regular trivalent flu shot that had already been released. There was concern of course, but it was business as usual as we waited for it to transition from pandemic to endemic. The influenza shot to this day still covers H1N1, but no one is running scared from it. It just became a fact of life. I assumed the new CV 19 variant would also run its course and then fade into the background in a similar style. Boy was I ever wrong.

The age stratified all cause mortality rates comparing the unvaccinated to cohorts for those vaccinated with a single dose, followed by each booster, will answer the question of just how safe and effective the mRNA vaccines truly are. I would ask about the quality of the "evidence" that it did save lives. AFAIK, such calculations usually beg the question by assuming efficacy first. It goes something like this:
      1) Efficacy is 90% (assumption, based on early clinical trials).
      2) There were 1000 C deaths in an observation, among people who received "the treatment".
      3) Since the efficacy is 90%, then for every treated person that dies, 9 more people would have died among the treated, if they weren't treated.
      4) Therefore, 9000 lives were saved!
If that 90% efficacy is from the 2020 trials, then the figure is completely invalid by the third (Delta) variant, the first one that surged *after* the general population was allowed their "treatment". The 90% is only valid for the first variant, and only in the population in the trial! If the trial used people never exposed previously, then even for that same variant, the efficacy could not be claimed for people already exposed to that first variant (like most of the population of NYC).

The issue behind Trump’s conviction is the NY prosecutor moved to have the law changed and the statute of limitations ignored so he could bring what used to be at most a misdemeanor of the lower order up into the felony range. It’s NEVER been done before and no other person has ever been so much as investigated for it in criminal conduct. Yes it’s been pursued as a regulatory violation which is only a fine and even then it’s been a minor fine. MD's were pressured and threatened if they did not cut back on prescribing opiates that they would lose their license to prescribe. So many caved in, including oncologists telling their terminal patients to cut down. I was disgusted and ready to leave the field, then came covid. No way I would want to go back now.

She was the only one in an office of about 50 people who declined the shot. She was treated and continues to be treated poorly because of her choice. These people will ignore the science because they went along with the lies. People think that the Holocaust and all that led up to it could never happen again.
