Amit: Good day. There are some very important points you have missed; specifically, regarding Nakhchivan. Since Nakhchivan was given to Azerbaijan by the Bolsheviks, it has been a Turkish protectorate. If Armenia were to attack Nakhchivan, it would be in direct conflict with Turkey, meaning the chances of Armenia taking this land by force are slim to none. There is also the matter of the alliance between Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Pakistan (the only nation which does not recognize Armenia). India has an interest in strengthening Armenia as it poses a threat to the "Three Sisters" alliance. India would be smart to propose a base to Armenia, something I believe Armenia would accept. This action would keep Turkey and Azerbaijan "in line" regarding Pakistan, which as you know is India's arch enemy. It's more than simply keeping a "balance" in the Caucuses, it is a foreign policy move regarding India's position at-home, as well. Supplying weapons to Armenia, especially when purchases surge (which is already happening), would allow India to fight a proxy war, if needed, with a major ally of Pakistan: Azerbajian. This, of course, also pulls Turkey even further into the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict by default, further distracting them [Turkey] from other objectives - e.g. Ukraine, Iraq, Syria, Cyprus, Greece, etc.
Excellent clear genuine explanation against bias stories. Many tks friend. All the best fir your free thinking to create a better tomorrow for the world. 🙏👏
Been to that region, it’s makes a lasting impression/memories, beautiful place & people are friendly. It’s only their location that makes them always to be in alliance since the medieval times… the people we are seeing today is mixed race of people…
Except for the Northern and Western Europe of medieval times all of Asia, and Eastern Europe are 'mixed' in one way or the other due to myriad of reasons, some due to either warcrimes during conquests or alliances when the Empires expand.
There are some gaps in this video: There is an Azer minority in Iran that supports a separatist insurgency. Israel supports Azerbaijan for this reason and facilitates Azerbaijan against Iran. Azerbaijan also has oil and is major supplier to Turkey. As a result there is oil politics at play here. Armenia is mostly orthodox Christian country. Armenia also suffered holocaust during WW1 at hands of the ottoman empire that Turkey to this day does not acknowledge. That is also a key factor. As result you have a wierd situation where western countries and Israel are supporting authoritarian Shia regime in Azerbaijan and India, Russia and Iran are supporting Christian country in Armenia.. I addition there is rivalry between Iran, Saudi Arabia and Turkey for leadership in Islamic world. Turkey has ambitions for revival of ottoman empire and caliphate. Saudi and iran because of the sunni vs Shia divide.
Dear Amit, One should always bear in mind that Turkey and Azerbaijan have such a strong historical and ethnical ties that both countries are considering themselves as "one nation, two countries" although they are religiously denominated as you mentioned. Based on that, these two countries have military agreement on full cooperation . They have agreed that they will provide mutual assistance to each other in the case of being subject to armed intervention or attack by a third state or states. On the other hand, similar agreement is effective between Russia and Armenia since the Armenia has achieved its independence after Soviet Union has collapsed at 1992. However, due to the influence of NATO's expension policy on Armenia, Russia has retracted its support to an extend from the Armeninan government currently on power.

I think you are confusing Iran's neutrality as being against republic of Azerbaijan. Iran has arms and capabilities that it has not supplied to any party in Caucasus except what it has supplied Russia via Caspian sea. If Republic of Azerbaijan or Georgia do not provide land route access to Iran and Russia, Iran and Russia will simply bypass both and increase their shipping traffic between Russian and Iranian ports. What Turkey is trying to do to Armenia (meddle in Armenian border corridors) is NOT acceptable to Iran and Iran has warned all countries involved "No International Border can be Modified or be taken by Force", which means if anyone will try to meddle in Armenian sovereignty over its borders with Iran, that country has to go to war with Iran. Because Republic of Azerbaijan has shown its hostility toward Iran's security by bringing in outside powers and host them within its borders, Iran will bypass the Republic of Azerbaijan by building a new network of roads within Armenia going to Georgia. Azerbaijan is strategically hurting itself in the long run. PEACE to ALL.

The occupation of Abkhazia and South Ossetia by Russia is much older, much like the issue of Transnistria (seceded from Moldova) it goes back to 1990-91, when the USSR collapse. Other than the three Baltic states, only Georgia and Moldova wanted to break apart from the USSR (there was a referendum all across the Union and everybody else massively voted for USSR continuity), it was then when Russia sent "peacekeepers" to those secessionist countries and not "in 2008". What happened in 2008 was that Georgia tried to re-annex the secessionist countries and Russia intervened, massively defeating the Israeli-trained Georgian Army (what was a major blow for Israel, along with the 2006 Lebanon War, which Hizbullah won by bombing Tel Aviv and other Jewish cities).
Russia didn't officially send support to Abkhazia in 1992-93 war which happened exactly after the collapse of USSR. It was supported by volunteers from North Caucasus. There was no heavily military or anything. People crossed mountains basically by legs. After the war they sometimes sent peacekeepers. But again, till 2008 there were no official or unofficial bases or any Russian military installations. In 2008 Georgia also didn't try anything with Abkhazia, they heavily bombed Ossetia and obviously wanted to retake it but then Russia intervened. They didn't actually attack Abkhazia like Ossetia. There was one small operation on the border and was directed from Abkhazia's side I believe.
@@4756134 - Actually both voted for continuity of the USSR, although after multiparty democracy was established in 1990, Armenia also backed a nationalist party (more or less aligning itself with the secessionist republics: Baltics, Moldova and Georgia, which also ousted the Communist Party in elections, all other nine republics re-elected the commies). The situation was aggravated when Russia elected Yeltsin (who was still a CPSU cadre nominally) as Chairman of the Russian Supereme Soviet (parliament) against the advise of Gorbachev. Yeltsin considered the USSR a burden for Russia and was a decisive force in destroying the federation: soon after his election the Russian Supreme Soviet also joined the secessionist republics with a paradoxical "declaration of sovereignty". Nationalist agitation was going on everywhere (Baltics, Azerbaijan, West Ukraine, etc.) but what matters the most here is that Nagorno Karabakh ("Asbakh" for Armenians) proclaimed itself independent from Azerbaijan, causing a major rift between the two Transcaucasian republics that persists until today. However there was in 1991 a referendum on the continuity of the USSR and 10 out of 15 republics (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, the five Central Asian republics, Azerbaijan and Armenia) voted for it, as already mentioned. The overall outcome was 78% in favor of the USSR, 73% in Russia, 71% in Ukraine, 83% in Belarus and more than 90% in Azerbaijan and Central Asia. I must correct that Armenia did not officially partake in the referendum, a parallel unofficial one took place but had very low participation. So I guess Armenia wanted to seced as well. Still in those unofficial referendums, hundreds of thousands voted for USSR continuiry in Moldova, Latvia and Lithuania, plus a clear majority in the ex-Georgian secessionist republics of South Ossetia and Abkhazia.

One thing to mention, all that region including Azerbaijan and Nakhjavan was given to Russia for as part of 100 year contract by Iran which is way over due so based on that legally Iran is the one who could claim that region all together!
Of course, the author has collected some information about our region, but he did not mention the real reason for India to support Armenia... I am sure that Delhi will soon understand that Azerbaijan is pursuing a multi-vector policy in the region for the sake of preserving its territorial integrity and this policy is in no way directed against the interests of third countries.
Great analysis, only one correction. Russia is the main force that helps turkey and azerbaijan to destroy Armenia. They did it 100 years ago and they are doing it today. My comment was satirical. In racial logic, as most Indians are d**k skinned, much of the fair skinned people being in Pakistan and Afghanistan. So d**k Indians shouldn't consider Armenians as brothers. Because Armenians are much purer Aryan than an average Indian.

Amit:
Good day.

Great video. The complications of this region is well explained. Thank you

Thank you for another good report Amit a lot of hours of research involved always appreciated.
Thank you for the clarity!!
Thankyou for such a wonderful geopolitics analysis ♥️
There are some gaps in this video:
There is an Azer minority in Iran that supports a separatist insurgency.
Correction. Armenian church is not orthodox, it's apostolic.
Russia doesn't support Armenia.

Dear Amit,
One should always bear in mind that Turkey and Azerbaijan have such a strong historical and ethnical ties that both countries are considering themselves as "one nation, two countries" although they are religiously denominated as you mentioned.

Im Georgian, and wow, well amalized video!
Everybody is trying to control everybody and in the process lose control and at the end everybody ends up dead. Nice. The prospects for human kind is bright!!!
Most importantly Iran is helping Armenia couse all most half of the Iranian population is Azerbaijani If there is a big conflict in region Iran has to think twice
@@seyyidayan3089 Iran has 25 million Azeri speaking, but again they are not genetically Turks. Please do not confuse language withe genes and ethnicity. Many Iranian Azeri speaking who are uneducated about these difference mistakenly think they are Turks, but they are not. A simple genetic test will show that. Just like a lot of Iranians who carry the name Seyed, they mistakenly believe they are of Arab extraction and again a simple genetic test will show that majority of them are not.
Very informative. Thank you. Now I finally understand Armenia's position. Armenia, here, definitely has the upper hand.

DEAR FRIENDS ATTENTION 👇👇
No Food, No Medicine, No Electricity: Azerbaijan Inflicts a Humanitarian Disaster on Artsakh
The Armenian enclave of Artsakh is home to 120,000 people, with Armenia responsible for 90% of the supplies that reach them | Contrary to agreements between the two countries, Azerbaijan blocked the route used to deliver basic goods to besieged residents | Enclave president: "If immediate international aid is not provided to the residents, Artsakh will become one big concentration camp"
Well, if Armenia and Azer didnt want to break apart they could have remained in the huge nation and shared the land
@@LuisAldamizYou started your analysis well, but you messed up at the end. It was not an army trained by Israel, it may have made some contribution to Israel, but not the main one. Overall a good analysis. Can you tell me who you are?
@@K.K648 - I am myself. Unlike most I go by my real name. What about you?
Anyway, that the Georgian Army was trained by Israel was something I read a decade ago, not sure where, in relation to what the author considered the two big defeats of Israel in thos days: Lebanon (directly vs Hizbollah) and Georgia (indirectly vs Russia).
One thing to mention, all that region including Azerbaijan and Nakhjavan was given to Russia for as part of 100 year contract by Iran which is way over due so based on that legally Iran is the one who could claim that region all together!

Thank you so much Amit sir❤
Of course, the author has collected some information about our region, but he did not mention the real reason for India to support Armenia... I am sure that Delhi will soon understand that Azerbaijan is pursuing a multi-vector policy in the region for the sake of preserving its territorial integrity and this policy is in no way directed against the interests of third countries.
Very informative video
Great analysis, only one correction. Russia is the main force that helps turkey and azerbaijan to destroy Armenia. They did it 100 years ago and they are doing it today. The indigenous Armenian lands Nakhidjevan and Nagorno Karabakh have been given to azerbaijan by russians. Also the West Armenia was handed by russians to turkey. The main enemy for Armenia is russia
