- Maintaining aquarium temperature at 25 to 26 degrees centigrade is a very important factor to maintain a Nature Aquarium in a hot and humid country like ours (India).
A piece of popular equipment that helps us achieve that is an Aquarium Chiller.

Sound 5/5..teco is a Mercedes in aquarium chillers..I have the smaller one TK150..it's really very quiet..and if we placed it under a ventilated cabinet ..then you will not able to hear any noise... thank you Gautam da for suggesting it..it's costly but better to save some money and go for a efficient chiller than a Cheaper noise Chinese product.

Hi can u please suggest how is the performance for TK150 , i have tank size of 3X1.5X1.5 , I live in Chennai where most of the months temp is always more than 36 degree. will TK 150 will be effective in such adverse climate ..

Sir please make a video on sump filters 🙏 Is it really good filters? How it's different from other filters?
Sump are a must for marine tanks in our opinion not so much for freshwater tanks. One of the reason being positioning Protein Skimmers, Reactors etc which are a must for a good reef tank. We do not deal much with marine so we are by no means an expert in this area. But we have noted your request and will try and see if we can make some contents on Sump Filters

Sorry for this delayed response. Have been travelling. Yes chiller is a big investment. Anyway there is no harm is getting to know about some of the features. May be it will help you in future :)
Teco is bit costly but consider it as a long term investment.. Amazing quality it has...
You are 100% right. The upfront acquisition cost of Teco chillers are indeed high, but the power savings, we guess, goes a long way towards compensating for the high cost

There are very good fish compatibility charts in the net, but we have taken a note and will try to do a fish compatibility related video, though it is difficult to make one.
As a rule do not keep hardwater fishes (African Cichlids) with Soft Water Fishes (like Angels, Tetras)
Big fish and very small fish are mostly incompatible. For example you cannot keep micro rasboras with say Discus. They will definitely be eaten. I have heard about even Congo Tetra predating on other fish.
Predators like Arawanas, Flowerhorns, Gars will definitely eat other fishes
Dada i want to know something. Asper Helia-250A data sheet it runs on 1/6 hp power which is around 125 watt . But someone told that chillers power consumption is near about an AC means 1500 watt. Is it true?
Difficult for us to answer this question. It's better to trust what the manufacturer like Hailea is specifying :)

TK150 consumes 160 w power. Depending on your ambient temperature and aquarium size, you need to assume no of hours in a day it is likely to run. Then arrive at total watt-hour per day and multiply it by your electricity suppliers unit cost. This may be a way

Extremely sorry for this very late response. Going by the specifications, TK 150 supports upto 60 Us Gallons i.e. approximately 220 L while the tank of your size will hold approximately 180 L. So TK 150 should, theoretically, be sufficient. But then I will recommend that you go for TK 500. Going by Chennai conditions it will cool your tank more efficiently and also will give you the flexibility of going for a bigger tank in future :)

I need to know why my tank thermometer shows 30 degrees and Tk 500 will show only 28.i set chiller to 28 degrees but actually it starts only when temp in tank shows 30 . any calibration is needed?

I am hobbyist . I hv two planted tanks , one is 4ft and other is 2ft . I would like to ask about light to be used to grow a good bed of dwarf hair grass in My 4ft tank whose height is 2ft .
Your tank height is substantial. You must use lights with high penetrating power. ADA Solar RGB is a great choice. There are other alternatives like Skylight and ONF

Sorry for the late response. We have been using Teco chillers for last 4 years in Kolkata and few places in Eastern India. We have not faced any issues so far

Absolutely. In fact AC works best if you have more than one aquarium like a fish room :)
