Curious about why you picked the Get Rx'd Stealth bar over their Men's Oly Lifting bar? Was it just to have something closer to a "budget option"? I only ask because I am looking for an oly bar and I have both of these bars open in browser tabs lol. Coop from GarageGymReviews also recommends the Stealth bar so there has to be something to it. Thanks!
Hey man! The majority of the lifting community have nothing but positive things to say about the Stealth bar. That, plus the fact that's it's a better value for almost identical specs, you can't go wrong with it at all. Personally, I would just pick up the Stealth bar. You won't be disappointed whatsoever. Hopefully this helps you out and thanks for watching and for your question!
@@RedgraveStrength Honestly they are pretty similar. It's like an extra $30 for of the single markings and "Oly" in the title. Thanks for the response! I'd say this settles it for me.
Hey there. Sorry for the late response. I like the Rogue 28mm Training Bar the best. But you can check out my full article here if you'd like to see other options as well. danteredgravestrength.com/best-olympic-weightlifting-barbell/
All these weightlifting bars seem to be in kilograms! That's not so bad, since with comp. collars the bar/collar system weighs 25kg or 55(.1) pounds. Or 45.0 pounds with the appropriately weighted aluminum collars. Is there a top 5 list for lovers of the freedom units, weightlifting bars with thinner shafts (1 3/32" or 28mm if you must), needle bearings and bars that weigh 45 pounds? Need something to go with Rogue pound bumpers! If you can round up 63/64" 35 pound bars for the ladies, that would be great as well.
From what I can tell, pretty much all weightlifting bars are going to be in kilos with thinner Shafts already. They need more whip after all. As for the women's bars though, I have a women's bar video coming up that include some multipurpose bars as well. So it's possible you'll find what you're looking for there. Let me know if there's anything I missed or if you have any other questions!
@@RedgraveStrength I only found one company that had what I was looking for, Tru Grit. They have both 45 and 35 pound weightlifting bars with appropriate shaft diameters and needle bearings. Northern Lights only has a 35 pounder, and Catsports' 35 pound bar has bushings vs. needle bearings. All other bars I've seen I couldn't be sure of the weight (lots of 15kg/35lb or 20kg/45lb bars, which are probably metric) or were labeled in kilograms outright. It's almost as if I should get some pound bars before they go extinct!

What about the York weightlifting bar? York has 100 years experience making bars.
What is the whippiest good quality oly bar?
