      Thank you for your comment. Has been almost 6 months for me now, but my body is still adjusting to not having a gallbladder. Digestion is good somedays, and somedays could be better. I cannot eat spicy foods as much as I used to, and dairy has been hit or miss too. A lot of people tell me that after a few years, your body will settle, and you will know how to deal with your body too. Lately metamucil has been helping me a lot. Stay strong!

      @@davidindotnet845hi, I was diagnosed with gallstones 2 weeks ago. And the doctors have scheduled a laparoscopic cholecystectomy to remove my gallbladder. I'm reluctant to do so. I don't feel like living a normal life without a gallbladder even if the procedure was the best thing for me. My doctors told me that my gallbladder contains multiple stones...problems may arise...but tbh I'd rather take medicine than undergo surgery. I can't imagine what my life would be like after the surgery. That feeling is haunting my mind now.

    I'm scheduled to get my gb removed September 6th. Two weeks ago I had my first gb attack and went to ER. For the last two, Ive been having weird symptoms - heart palpitations that last for hours. Also have pain in my back.
    You said you threw up after the surgery several times because of the anesthesia. Did they give you something to prevent you from throwing up? That what I dread the most.

      Sorry about the late reply, I have not been on youtube for a while. Aside from standard testing, even a ultrasound did not pick anything up. I took an actual Gallbladder test based on what my doc recommended, and that’s how I found out that my gallbladder was only functioning at like 6% or something like that. It has been almost 6 months now since I removed my gallbladder. For the most part everything is good, however I do get diarrhea here and there. I can’t pinpoint if a certain type of food is triggering it, or if it just comes and goes yet…..I do know if I eat a lot of milk, that will do it.

      @davidindotnet845  11 месяцев назад +2

      Wow, that is definitely a question for a doctor. I too had very bad acid reflux and indigestion. I did not have stones, i just had a gallbladder that was functioning at only 6%. With that being said, the people that I did speak to that had stones….some did mention that it could have easier if they did go to a doctor sooner….so i would definitely have a doctor check and tell you what you should do. Do a lot of research and get to a doctor who can really help. I had to see a few doctors and run multiple tests without finding anything, until I finally got to a doctor who ran what they call a HIDA scan…before that, other doctors ran other tests…including ultrasounds and said that I am perfectly fine. Stay Strong!

    What were your symptoms?
    I'm getting mine out april 17th after 1.5yrs and a couple Drs telling me take an antacid and you are stressed. I didn't get typical symptoms like pain after eating an extra greasy meal. Instead it's just this constant dull pain, indigestion, heartburn, burping, gas, diarrhea, nausea, bloating, full feeling, can't eat a lot at one time, just not feel8ng like myself, fatigue and it's just all the time. The surgeon doing it still isn't sure it's my gallbladder but he doesn't know what else it could be

    • @davidindotnet845
      @davidindotnet845  Год назад +3

      Sorry to hear that….in my case I felt very minor pain on my right side for years, however it didnt really bother me too much so i left it alone. I knew it was time to do something when my bloating got so bad I couldnt even sit a certain way, and my clothes started fitting funny. Not to mention irregular bathroom patterns. Numerous tests found nothing, until they did whats called a Hida scan. Thats when they found out my gallbladder is only functioning at 6 percent. It has been 2.5 months now? And i feel great! I do get slightly bloated still if i dont watch what I eat, but I have never digested better, ever! Bathroom patterns are back to normal too. To give you one tip, get plenty of recovery time. My doctor recommended 4 days, i took 8….but i think i should have taken a little more. I still get minor pains here and there where the small incisions are.

This has been a serious decision for me but after reading all the reviews I don't eat my gall bladder removed for that organ is there for a reason. After watching another video from a doctor I think that if they just remove the stones instead if taking the entire organ out it is worth leaving it in! I believe this is just a faster way fir them to cut corners and just remove the entire gall bladder and I am nit ready to go through all the crap that I am reading from people who are really having a difficult time after their surgery. I threw up once but have a much harder time in the evening. Bloating, belching, and I am feeling so much better since I have been eating. Keeping a little food in my stomach.
