You should've talked to a Hepatologist and got on Urosidol to break up stones...you didn't have to remove gallbladder

Beware. There can be long range effects. I had my GB out in 2018 and have been having serious problems with diarrhea in the last six months.

I had back in 2019. Had robotic assisted laparoscopic gallbladder plus umbilical hernia surgery. had five small incisions my scars is not noticeable kinda barely see the belly scar . I was sore but it was manage.

Make sure to report your reaction to the anesthesia - if you have another surgery. Anesthesiologist needs to know.

It's been 2 weeks since i got my endoscopic cholecystectomy, i have not had a single issue of any sort until now. I have eaten all kinds of veg food in the first week, i did not face any issue. But yes i have been a fitness person and i ate sensibly before, n i eat sensibly too now. I eat more fruits n vegetables now. I'm an eggetarian vegetarian.

I have a 2020 4matic GLB and I have noticed the same lag. Maybe the newer version got better.

My 25 yo son who has not had any surgical procedures previously, is at the two week post surgery mark. He has had zero pain, no pain medication and no issues with food .

I had mine removed two weeks ago and I never feel any pain, I can eat anything I want without diarrhea.

Try taking bile salts to disolve thr gall stones or to supplement the bile deficiency, getting your gall bladder removed is going to have consequences

I had mine removed on 8/11/2023. I had been suffering for 2 years . I had never had surgery so I was scared. My surgery went really well. I had 2 small incisions and a 2 inch cut above my bellybutton. I didn’t have much pain and didn’t take any pain medication. The only pain I had was shoulder pain and the doctor said that was a side affect from the anesthesia . The only way to get rid of the pain was to walk it off. I was ready to go back to work after 3 day but the doctor didn’t release me until 8/28. Everyone has different experiences and heal at different rates. I had lost 35 pounds during the 2 years and I hope to keep it off. I now weigh 121 pounds. I think me walking a lot was the reason I recovered fast. I am a healthy 55 year old and I am not on any kind of medication. I was able to shower the next day because I had liquid bandages and I still have them on . The doctor said I can pick it off but I don’t want to. I’ll just let it dissolve on its own along with the stitches. I had a great doctor that made me feel completely comfortable when it came time to go into surgery. Good luck to everyone and a speedy recovery!!

I just had mine out for a week and I have to chew toddler size bites to eat or my stomach starts to hurt really bad. I just had 1/4 of a cracker. I’m mad I can’t go get a burger 😫 I miss my life before this! I’ve loss so much weight in a week and I understand the inside has to heal and our body has to adjust but I just want to be normal again😞 I had gallstones fyi and had to go to ER, they kept me overnight because my liver enzymes were so high.
