Sweeet. That tailgate tip was a big help thanks. I had bought new Magneti Marelli ones and thought that would help my tailgate "pop" ajar, it didn't. Both of my "spring stoppers" were pushed in as you had shown. Now I have some good popping action going on back there, cheers.

Hey champ . I have a 156 SW v6 from 2002 that has a malfunctioning wiper arm. So neither the front wiper , back wiper or screen washing works. I have replaced the fuse but still it doesn´t work . Do you know how I can fix it ? Is there a relay somewhere ?

Hello. Fortunately no issues with those here in Portugal. For that I cannot help out by memory.
You have to get the wiring diagrams and start to check ground and power.

Great video as always. Do you know how hard is to remove Alfa Romeo 156 2.0 JTS (2004) 5-speed manual gear knob? Do I have to pull it off? Or is it glued and I have to heat it?

3:36 Can you recommend a fully-synthetic lubricant that is popular/readily available in most of Europe, e.g. Wurth or some other brand? Many lubricants around some claim partial compatibility with plastics, but you have to know the exact type of plastic to make sure it is compatible...that is difficult. If you have a product, widely available one, to recommend, please do

Hello. Yes, I will and can. Normally I don't like to advertise them because I do not have sponsors.
I use the motip PTFE, the new yellow can we 40 for plastics, wurth lubs (they come in large cans to the workshop, no labels)
As I am doing more videos and purchasing more lubricants I will refer them too.
For example, the motip one is on this video:

@@alfaromeonoproblem Is that the Motip 090203 or the 090201?
Yes, you should use affiliate codes for products in the description (e.g. Amazon or others). We learn what exact product to use and you get referrals.
      Thank you for your help

Hi Bruno, does a 2 litre Twin Spark for a 156 need fully synthetic oil? I seem to be only able to find semi-synthetic 10w40. Thanks

    • @alfaromeonoproblem

great videos. I just changed to summer tyres here in the north (Denmark). I'm quite careful to tighten the diagonal bolts etc. and not over-tightening, whilst it of course isn't loose either. Is there any other method than just feeling one's way when tightening.
Very useful tip about loosening the screws first while the tyre is on the ground before lifting it.

    • @alfaromeonoproblem
      @alfaromeonoproblem  3 года назад +1

Hello. How are you? Thank you very much for watching my video!
      Yes, about the bolts.
There are some methods, you can screw in and than as apply "X" amount of quarter turns.
      But
Every one is different, everyday is different so you may have more or less energy. And the bolts may have corrosion or something else that don't let you feel it. Or give you false readings.
My advice is to buy a torque wrench.
You can buy it around 100 euros, quality.
For 120Nm and the fine threading that these cars have... Mind as well.
More so if you have to make it so often.

@@alfaromeonoproblem Cheers! thanks for your extensive reply. I did use it a while back, and then the head of the torque wrench got stuck so i stopped using it. Not sure if it were the rims or the torque wrench there was something wrong with, but i'll take your advice and give it a go again... oh well
