    Love your arrangements as I was looking for something nice for my mom this Mothers Day. Found your YT & got inspired to make one. But her urns are taller & smaller opening. Thank you.

    It's so nice! I actually loved the way it looked when you put the taller flowers in the center! However, still as beautiful with the carnations as well. Thanks for sharing!

      Sandy Pro, I look forward to seeing it! We're coming up on one year of my granny being home with the Lord on April 15th, so I think I'll take your idea and make 2 side pieces for her grave. Pray my strength! I made her casket spray, and I cried like a baby in the store, so I wonder how this will go. My apology, I didn't mean to talk so much!

      I plan on doing more. Please ask your wife - What is it that she enjoys so much about this type of video? I have one other and they seem to get a lot of views. What is the actual appeal to her? Just curious.

      This is Robin, Williams wife: I use to arrange real flowers for weddings and altar decorations for church. I never got into silk or plastic flowers. It looks as though you have to be mindful of where you want to place the stems due to styrofoam not wanting to go back into shape if you change your mind. With Oasis, we are able to mold it back into shape when it is wet. I just love flowers. I am a shut-in with a black thumb. I just couldn't kill silks, LOL!!! I had an experience after I had been arranging for 30 years. A woman Pulled flowers and greens out of an arrangement and yelled at me that I was not using the proper methods of arranging. (Greens first then layer blooms then filler). That was the day I stopped arranging for church. I so enjoy your calming, patient, instructive voice. I have PTSD and I am able to connect your voice and mannerisms. You are brilliant at this. I generally use quilting to calm myself. Would love to see what you sew or quilting videos when you are comfortable. Take care. So glad I found Darlene and then you and then Shawna.

      Robin, Thank-you so very much! I will have to think of more floral arrangements I would like to make. As for sewing - If you only new how many projects - I have lined up! LOL ! I think I need to retire to get them all accomplished. I am not sure if my "Junk drawer" video would have the same results for you, but you might want to check it out. I will keep you in mind for sure going forward. Your positive feed back and support is greatly appreciated. If I may speak on my friends behalf for a moment. Darlene, Shawna and I are honored that you found us.

    ✿◠‿◠)/ ♥ You have such a fun personality and I really enjoy your videos & stories! You make the arrangements so effortlessly! They came out beautiful, so bright and cheery! I plan on spraying the one I made for my dad with matte clear paint, hoping it will help it from fading too soon. The one I made for my grandparents is almost 2 months old and has faded some. I have four of the green hydrangeas and two darker blue ones. Really love the color and style of them and hope they'll be available again. How often do you change out the flowers?

    • @sandypro1542
      @sandypro1542  8 лет назад

      I change my flowers in April or May each year. I skip evergreens for winter although I think of doing it.. The snow builds up and we have no access to the cemetery for months so I wait until spring and change them then. A clear coat is a great idea.... I may give that a try myself. Thanks
