At this point, there are too many different LG refrigerator models, and too many different LG filter models. There needs to be more nuanced instructions for these different types of replacements. My filter replacement involves pulling the filter down and then straight out; no twisting at all. What frustrates me is the amount of force required to get the filter out; it feels like you’re going to break the whole unit. LG needs to come up with a simple, consistent, and easy to execute filter across all refrigerator lines.
It would be REALLY helpful if you provided the amount of rotation in degrees or 1/4 turns to know you have fully rotated the unit. I began to take mine out, it did not give any indication it had released, and then it required more torque to turn further. I didnt want to continue spinning it because Ive heard it is easy to break components in the socket. This video ends up being no help, since what you describe here is too vague. Please do better.

2.5 gallons is about 40 cups and many more cycles than shown to flush new filter.
Also the filter says it flyers 200 gallons. Having to use more than 10% of e filters usefulness just to start utilizing it seems like a ripoff
There no place to fit the water filter which is shown in this video
do i need replace water filter in indonesia?
no you can just do it at home
