Just a tip.. the Kettle will smoke better when you have the top vent away from the coals and above the meat. That way the smoke is force over and out above the meat.
Love the video, thanks boss. It’s amazing how well the Weber Kettle can smoke meat. I tried this on some burgers a few weeks ago on mine, big chunk of apple wood in the coals, indirect heat and then sear, and the burgers were very juicy and had real good smoke flavor. I had a Masterbuilt electric smoker and liked it but it really is very easy to get the same results with these things. And you also get all the versatility of a stick burner. Rec Teq someday soon but in the meantime, by watching videos like this one, my Weber Kettle will provide fantastic smoked meats.

Lol, "cure" the lean beef ratio with butter, I like it! My wife will probably be down with that too since she eats my steak fat I trim off. Never seen someone use indirect heat and smoke on a burger but I like it. Usually I go direct from the get go and I have flare-ups real bad so maybe you have something there. Thanks for the video.
