I just found this channel a week ago and it's quickly become my favorite cyber channel. You don't just talk about vague broad concepts like most "get into cyber" channels do, you talk about specific actionable things and deliver them in a straightforward understandable way. Keep it up!
How to get into cybersecurity.. Education Experience Certifications... If you have all 3 you're good. If you have 2 it's possible. If you have 1, you better get another
Thank you for the game. I don't plan to be in cyber security only network engineering but this video was super beneficial for me. I appreciate you. Keep up the great work. This is a wonderful channel. I've been binge watching through the day 😂
Perfect timing! I’m planning to switch from my Systems Analyst role to a Security Analyst role sometime soon. I only have CCNA and I’m looking to add Sec+. Then I’ll start applying.
Thanks bruh, I needed to hear that. I work with SIEM, Network, IDS, IPS, Network & Host Firewalls everyday. Time to labeveryday and get my projects up.
I’ve watch a few of your videos every so often on my RUclips search. I think you have great information, I like you content. I’ve officially become a subscriber 🙌🏾😂.
Appreciate this video as I am getting into the cybersecurity field! I’m looking for different workshops and meet up groups in the area before I start school
I just found out about this page and this video is a gem.. I will definitely continue to check out the page as I’m looking to break into cybersecurity as a SOC Analyst. How do you feel about the platforms ISC2 or Cybrary as learning tools!?
Will a bootcamp get me anywhere in this field? After 8 years in construction I am ready to switch things up. Considering this route and I am willing to take more college classes afterwards to further my knowledge. Thanks, Dave.
Thanks for the vid. I may have missed it, but the topic is getting in CS with no experience --- although your resume segment uses examples of resumes with experience. idk, I may have just misunderstood.
Former security forces as a cop ( air force) tried going medical out of military realized I don’t like the pay … unrealistic expectations from administration and work life balance! So i started looking at IT my parents both 6 figures in IT ones a coder (mom ) ones cybersecurity background but moved into risk analysis and they bought me a A+ dummies book half way through and im like shit i can do this it ain’t easy but it can be done
Hey I’m very new to your content and I have a BA in communications but have an A.S in computer science, now I switch and figured about pretty late that I have a passion for cybersecurity, I just love the never ending learning process of technology and security. I’m also pretty noisy onto things and technology, my main point is I want to become a cyber security engineer, not proficient in a language just yet but will be soon I’m studying on my sec+ cert I was wondering is it honestly too late or anything of that nature any advice?
Hey man I have been stuck deciding what I want to do after college. I graduate in about a year and a half with my bachelors degree in computer science and I currelty working help desk on the governemnt side. They gave me a certain date that I had to have sec+ by for me to be kept permanetly but anyways are there any good roles that require a security background with a good emphasis on coding since I am interested and working towards specializing in both?
Do you think starting a master program in data science would be the right way to go or a “boot camp” for cyber security? Just getting into your content so sorry if I missed the answer already
i earned my associates in cybersecurity this semester and plan on going for my bachelors what are the steps u suggest i should start taking so that i can have a better chance when looking for jobs after i get my bachelors
Thanks for the video dude! Just wanted to know how I can get in contact with you because I am very much interested in going to the field of tech type jobs. Please respond back when you can.
@@TechTualChatter Just wanted to know what you would recommend to someone with little to no experience in tech but has great customer service and advanced computer navigation skill experience? I ask cause I wanted to get a simple answer from you while as I repeat watch you're video at another time.

Don’t focus on the cert learn the skills or see what skills you have now that translate over to security analyst
