There's an unsettling irony at the fact that badger and pete are talking about Nazis infront of Jessie who's currently drugged out and unaware that the worst for him has yet to come.
Yea it’s a damn shame Jesse never could understand that Walter did an necessary evil to save them both. Although killing Mike is an unjustifiable kill that’s for damn sure.

This scene is a Prime example of why you should stay away from people that do drugs, when you yourself is trying to stay sober..they will pull you back in ...
It took basically the nightmare senerio of being kidnapped by Nazis to finally cause Jessie to become sober. If you remember after escaping the compound he ended up with Badger and Pete they offered him a joint and decided against it. Interesting as at the end he just wanted to escape humankind and move to Alaska. The only one who truly got out and able to change his future.
No tiene nada que ver, además la marihuana no era algo demasiado influyente en la vida de Jessie, solo de negó así como se niega cualquier persona a fumar un porro
that’s a shame because i read a headcanon (before el camino came out) that said he could escape to an innocent life as a in-store salesman for audio equipment, i thought he was speaking genuinely and knew his stuff 😭
Funny because I watched this when I was like 14, best scene is when Jesse is totally neglecting he just got his friends in recovery high and hadn't even been listening to them. "Like yeah, totally" he did not give a singular fuck, he just wanted to get high and he wanted company and after them giving him it you could tell he went to an even darker place on the surface because he got what he wanted and there was no turning back. I loved this as a kid for a reason and I didn't even know why until I grew up and learned shit.
You know I actually feel for Jesse as he distracts himself with endless parties drugs and alcohol which is exactly what I do to forget my past and my pain simply by constant noise and distractions it’s a good short term solution but long term nothing changes it gets worse as when your friends leave you always want them back it creates anger loneliness and depression damn
This horrible feeling of a bunch of powder around when you don’t feel like doing it, that anxiety raising until you have a couple drinks and then BOOM you’re all over it, up til 11am feeling like a depleted battery. Then you say never again.. until the next big event and its happening all over again
You can try to escape your demons with friends , money ,drugs , loud parties and debauchery but the demons will catch up with you sooner or later :/ Poor Jesse
4:12 This part reminds me of the conversation between Tony Soprano and Dr. Melfi about sharks. Sharks need to be moving constantly, or they’ll die, just like people who’ve done terrible things need constant activity so they don’t dwell on their misdeeds.
I wouldn't be surprised if the zombie conversation was a real convo the actors had in between takes and they just wrote it in because of how natural it sounded.
So much unspoken feeling in this scene. Jesse without the hat and always separated from his friends, sinilar shots to ones we'll see later (through the glass table and Jesse's "digital animal" pose w/o the speaker not behind him), his homies talking about how hypnotic the speaker looks, etc. Putting that all while the ~action~ in the scene is the homies bantering about zombie games. Vince was right about the intersection between comedy and drama. Bravo.
This is the dumbest and most authentic videogame conversation ever. They dropped some actual videogame gems. And talked about specific details in them. But then badgers doesn't know shit about resi 4 lmao. Like yes he knows he rescues a girl. But then says leon is the last person in a zombie apocalypse? And then he mentions cod zombies which is so niche to hear about in a series. But then calls out skinny for saying left 4 dead infected aren't zombies but he ended up calling the plaga in resi 4 zombies.
