After seeing your review I picked one of these up (Nikon F mount) on eBay for forty quid. Not sure why but I'm finding it's overexposing on my Nikon D500 and I'm having to set a compensation of -1 to -2. Apart from that it's an excellent lens. I came back to your video and just twigged on the voice, South Wales. 👍🏻
That's great, it's well worth 40 quid, Nikon d500 ,nice camera, yes there's no disguisng the south Wales accent, very nice to hear from you, love the fact that you went and got a version of this lens, thanks for the comment 👍
@@fistfulloflenses No disguising it, and no need to. Aberdare boy here, and proud of it. It's great to hear on RUclips. You, Christopher Frost and "During The Meanwhilst", it's uncanny how many Welsh are on the photography circuit. Could be our fantastic scenery (God's country)?
One thing to say, Vivitar was a design and marketing company they did design the lenseyand send the specs to the manufacturers,and any from kino or komine are very good also cosina

I have this gem, and I can’t believe how great it is ,considering it’s not a series 1 lens!!

I've got a few of their lenses, they are very good, like many photography companies,they struggled with the advent of autofocus
