- For april fools I wanted to do something special with the members and friends of the Wavetech server. So we got together and did a bit of roleplay as the US army in Minecraft where the goal was to arrest me for manufacturing weapons of mass destruction. I hope you enjoy.

Could you make an adjustable “orbital strike cannon” that launches an ender pearl to specified location on the map?
like arrows, ender pearls cannot have a cannon made for them that works in a similar way to the osc
As far as I know it only shoots the pearl to one location. If you used osc technology could you make it so you could choose where the pearl end up?
@@thomasborre5669 ender pearl cannons was a thing in 1.12 where you could chunk load with simple redstone dust. If mojang made pearls load chunks you would be able to build them in never versions. That is sadly not the case.
The most ironic thing is that projectiles do literally load chunks as they raycast to their destination, its just that those chunks will only be loaded in a border state and entities cannot tick in those chunks. There would literally be no performance difference if they made the chunks entity processing.
@@cubicmetreis it possible in this case to make a more expensive version that will consistently throw pearls into each chunk along the way?

I loaded that gun mod into my modern industrialization world, set up a bunch of production lines for bullets and weapons and went dungeoning. Something about two shulkers full of LMG ammo hits different lol

Edit: Wait I just noticed that with coordinates 4300 - 4300 it gives X: 37 trim 7, Y 37 trim 7. But with the coordinates 3700 - 3700 it gives the same? Can it only fire in one direction or?
The cannon can only fire towards a single dual of coordinates, so +X +Z or +X -Z. But you can rotate the cannon, just keep in mind for rotates of 90 and 270 degrees the X and Z settings swap places.

Awesome showcase on how to (almost) outrun the US military, but I think the whole thing could’ve been avoided if you never posted the “Why I hate PaperMC” video. You see, without that video, upon seeing working technical redstone, the US military would’ve been too shocked to respond (everyone knows government departments run PaperMC for minimum bureaucratic efficiency), giving you ample time to escape.
