Ford GT90 QUAD TURBO V12 Found Hidden in Rural Town! (PRICELESS "Barn Find")

- On this episode while adventuring in Oklahoma with Jrod's Garage, we stumbled upon the rural town of ames, oklahoma (population 193) and found one of the most rare ford cars of all time! Hidden away in this town is the 1 of 1 Ford GT90 concept car originally produced for $3,000,000 in 1995, producing over 750hp that made it the worlds most powerful production car during that time period. The GT90 was the predecessor to the now wildly popular Ford GT platform. When we asked the owner about an approximate value of the GT90 he said it's PRICELESS, but he was offered $8million for it, which he turned down. Safe to say this was one of the coolest random car finds we've had in a long time. Huge thank you to Hajek motorsports for having us, hope you enjoy this episode!

This was a Blast to film with you guys!! Thanks for coming to Oklahoma
you represent a real golden era of racing and cars in general, and you seemed cool as hell too! Great collection.
Man I just wanna meet you!!! This is incredible you seem like such a cool dude! I just got my first mustang but owned many quick cars for my age. Can’t wait to have a whipple on my s650 one day
Thank you for keeping this treasure alive.
Incredible snipit of your collection. Beautiful cars and that truck is B@d@$$
F'ing amazing video...😳🤘🏻❤️
Brent seems like one of the nicest guys in the industry with an amazing automotive history. It makes sense he is Fords custodian for the GT 90.
Absolutely wonderful gentleman! A real down to earth dude with ALL the passion of the automotive industry 🤘🏻♥️🤘🏻
Insanely knowledgeable, humble and friendly. Class act if I ever saw one.
Then Ford CEO Mark Fields had a reputation for being a 'business guy' and not so much a 'car guy' so it speaks to Brent even more that he had a connection with him.
I could listen to this guy tell stories for hours! We need a longer garage tour!
We need a look at that "Jaguar Vanquish" he is talking about ( 4:20 ) 😂😂😂
I caught that too. To be fair, Ford also owned, or partially owned, Aston Martin at the time. @@muppetpaster
He needs a bar in there. I'd go there every night to listen to his stories :)
was about to say the same thing. this man is legendary.
Yes plz
That's no barn find. That's a carefully curated priceless masterpiece!

Oh lord this brings back NfS II memories from back in the days, i cannot believe Ford gave this car to him..
If you are getting that kind of car, the only one in the world, gifted by a company like Ford you have done everything right in your life.
Hats off to this cool and surprisingly humble guy. A legendary car for a true legend.
Gran Turismo 1 and 2!!!
I remember this (and the Ford Indigo) from NFSII as well!
This car was a beast like the v10 mustang😊
They shoulda built these…woulda been a Ferrari eater at that time❤
Am I the only one who feels dissonant from such shots? You must approach this car, a work of art, shaven, in a classic suit with gloves on your hands. We have lost the aesthetics of Western civilization
@intestinumvitae9749 nope. They work on cars for a living, they know what their doing letting someone touch then or sit in them. Far different than someone in a museum that's reading from a script about a vehicle to some onlookers who have dirty hands and don't know how to respect what they touch. To not let others who know their shit get a feel for a vehicle is dumb. There's a car show every year where I live, people bring classic (and new) cars, park them outside the hotels in the area and let people come and inspect them, some let people get in. They dive them down a few select streets and show off for the bystanders. "Syracuse nationals", the actual show is at the fairgrounds but the people who own the cars give a free show around the hotels they stay at. Even the cops let stuff slide when it's going on, until some young dumb idiot trys showing off 8n a new mustang his parents bought him and crashed into a pole. They loosened restrictions sense the. Sure most cars and not million $ vehicles at the syracuse nationals but damn are they cool.
These types of videos need to be preserved. That man is a legend and doesn't even know it.
preserved how? youtube? the internet? i imagine they have raw backups...
It's honestly kinda odd. There's a few 'old dudes' on youtube that have pretty small channels that are pretty legendary in the hotrod community. It's funny how some get noticed and do well, but others don't... also many of this generation would just say, "What's youtube?"
Doesn't even know it? Based on... what? Being humble doesn't mean you're ignorant
You saw his pictures. I’m pretty sure he knows it
I knew of the GT90 from playing Need For Speed 2 as a kid. How cool to see the only one!
I saw the thumbnail and was like, "no way, I know that car" Before I even saw GT90.
Couldn't remember which game it was on so thanks for that lol
Yup. Same here.
I knew of it before NFS2, but the game only cemented how much I liked the car
This has been one of my favourite cars ever since seeing it in NFS2, and all these years I've always wondered what happened to it, nice to finally get some closure and see it actually still exists
I came in for the GT90 but now I could listen to Brent talk all day.!What an amazing life! I bet he’s got stories for every one of those 82 cars!
I thought it was gonna be clickbait, but was pleasantly surprised. Brent’s knowledge and enthusiasm kept me as well!
What an incredibly humble gentleman. I loved the line “we were very blessed to have your heroes be your friends.” Makes complete sense that he would be the custodian of this. Please do more interviews with him. He has a lifetime of car stories to tell it seems.
That was what I loved most about this video, what a wonderful guy!
That GT90 is such a gem. In my childhood my grandfather got me a 1:18 scale of it and I still love it till this day.
Same here -- had a scale of this beautiful gem along with a Lamborghini Countach, Dodge Viper and Shelby Cobra.
The car is cool but this guy is even cooler
The car is cooler lol
For 270+ mph, that wreck footage made it look like piece of cake. Absolutely amazing.
Many brave men have departed for that safety gear to work as well as it does, incredible engineering for the crash to look that 'gentle' considering the speed.
I came for the car but liked the guy and his stories better! Cool dude right there!
Stories indeed! Wendell Scott in a Galaxy? Bubba Wallace ain't even that good
The smile on that man's face when he educates us is priceless. That's what it's all about.
That GT90 was my all-time favorite car as a kid (Still is), always wondered where it was! So glad it's in great hands 👍👍
We need more low-key legends like this sharing their stories on your platform! 💯
That GT90 brought back memories from early 2000s of playing NFS 2 that thing kicked ass in that game. Thanks for sharing this car with us.
Your young this car was in Grand Turismo back in the 90s
I was just about to comment this!!
I was just about to comment this!!

That old guy is my hero! Doing what he loves n having a great time doing it! With everyone restoring Chevys we forget about these kinds of cars.Beautiful!
That cobra truck is unbelievably AWESOME !
I'd love to sit around a camp fire and listen to this man tell storys for a weekend......ANY day, ANY time, just let me know when.
Great job guys.
You've definitely earned my subscription 👍👍
Ford GT90. A car that, to the time of writing, still looks much more futuristic than almost every other car in production.
even concepts
and it looks better than most modern supercars, too, because the design doesn't consist of randomly laid out holes that break up every flow possible.
@@lotharrenz4621 today designe is most of time shit, compare the gorgeous muircielago with revuelto
@@164Gems I can't even remember how the latter looks like... seen - forgotten.
No, thanks.
This so much! Ford still hasn't even come close to topping it with the GT40 series. The GT90 is still in a league of its own, and it's funny how much Bugatti borrowed from its design for the Chiron, but the Chiron looks absolutely gaudy by comparison.
I'm shocked that ford doesn't have this in a museum! This was one of my poster cars as a kid, always loved it. I guess I'm just glad it looks like it's being taken care of indoors.
Pretty sure Ford owns it and they loan it to museums.
Well Ford gave it to him to be a custodian of, so it kinda is in a museum.
One thing I've learned about Ford, they rather see vehicles in real people's hands than rot away in a showroom. This guy drives this car every so often.
It is in a museum
There is one (not sure if it was a runner or even haf a mitor)that was sitting inside of the ford dealership in Hamilton Ontario was bluish purple color not sure if its still there or not since they did the renovation
*I dreamed of this car since I started collecting COLLECTOR CAR cards. This car was in my first pack. I would stare at the interior for ages. That blue was mesmerizing.*
*1995..... Time flies.*
How the hell have I never heard of this absolute legend of a man.
I remember seeing this car in a concept car book I had when I was a kid, and it's so cool to finally get a good look at it. I never knew Top Gear had driven it back when, so this is the first time I'm really seeing this amazing machine.
If I ever get to Oklahoma I hope to be able to visit this place, awesome video!
What an absolute treasure these guys are! The kind of life long knowledge and experience that you just can't buy or store away in a library! We need to cherish these guys while they're still around to share their stories and wisdom with us.
What an incredibly cool freaking guy.
This car used to blow my mind when I was a teenager, the tires, the engine, the exhaust, the interior Were Delirious and it's right there in front of you! And that's not the only great iconic car in this collection 🎉🤩😛👍🏻
This guy must be one hell of a farmer to own all these gems! That GT90 prototype is priceless. Wow!
One wonders what he's farming??!!

Brent is my oldest brother. He not only farms wheat, corn, and soybeans, but he has ran a successful oilfield services business for 40 years. He is as he seems; a genuine guy and a repository of racing knowledge and history.
@@joehajek5576He seems like a genuinely nice guy
@@joehajek5576 Nice to get a family commenter. Sure is a hell of a collection!
It's fantastic that the missing GT90 ended up going to a real car-person. And great job to this team for getting it to the front of the video and letting the audience choose whether to keep watching the rest. (The rest was worth watching!)
When I was a kid I drove this car in the NFS 2. It's teardropping to see that they decided to give this humble man a iconic legend of a car to be stored with a real gearhead. It's a decision literally out of a movie.
This was my dream car because of that game.
What a cool guy, came for the GT90, stayed for the caretaker
Driven through Ames several times, never knew what was hiding there
This car was my childhood in need for speed 2 SE on windows 98. I’m all the way in California. But if I ever wind up in that side of the country, my goal would be to just be able to sit in this thing. Lol bucket list thing. Just to make my inner child happy
Get in line my friend and good luck with that as I don’t know if the guy or ford likes people just plopping on this legends leather
This bloke is a legend! We needa keep fellas like us around
It was great to see what the older generation know regarding motors of yesteryear. These guys know how to bring back to life old motor and the history of every car they have. Many thanks for a great video, from the UK
My dad worked on the design team! There’s a lot more that meets the surface on this car and it’s R&D, and a lot of secret stuff people don’t know about between 1995 and 2005!
He mentioned the heat tiles being on the exhaust from the space shuttle, my dad actually got his reigns to the design team because his research thesis in college was on that material and how to improve it, and his advisor was actually the lady who invented the base for that material. So that was in one thing he came up with on this concept, so many things I wish I could see this car because I wasn’t alive back then.
This guy is a gem!
What a find and I'm not only talking about the Ford GT90. The owner is a national treasure as well.
as a junior in HS in 95' that GT90 blew all of us away .... being a Ford kid it was a big chip to have Ford make the most powerfull car in the world ....and it looked like a spaceship so cool to see it again... 3d scan that thing and let us have it ...
At least as a kit or something!
One listen of that super charger wine....... Subscribed 😊
The owner is such a nice guy too!
That Ford GT-90 is SICK!!! And that museum is amazing. I could spend a whole day there just looking at everything and anything.
I had a framed picture of this on the wall as a child 😅

I built a model of this car with my dad when I was a kid.
That and a white countach. Ohhhhhhhhh and a yellow Diablo.

I really hope this gentleman writes a book, or has a continuous journal of sort. What a wealth of knowledge & amazing character. Such a likable friendly guy with passion. Thank you for sharing
One word can describe this man. That's LOYALTY to the Brand. I love my Fords but this guy is on another level. I'm SO ENVIOUS Of his collection. You always wonder where a special car went or ended up. Now we now. Props must be given.

Your correct👍
You need two more episodes to cover the rest of his collection. I could listen to him tell stories all day long!!
Brent is a super guy. Got to meet him out at Ames many years ago. They were just returning from Bonneville, the F250 still had salt on it. I've never seen so many Cobra Jets in one spot!!

Very Cool Episode!
Love the GT90
I remember playing with a GT90 on Need For Speed 2 on the Playstation when I was a kid. What a cool looking car, and what cool ole boy who gets to keep it safe. I hope theyre both around for a long time to come.
A lot of the styling elements went into the Fords in the later 90s. The end/tail of this V12 4T car you'll find in the backside view of the little Ford Street-Ka Roadster! A very underrated tomorrows classic car.....
Not gonna lie - this man's mid-western humble funny personality is amazing!
Crazy this guy has it. That building needs to be fire proofed, its unreal what he has.
Well most one of one cars have some private owners in the end. There is certain scumbag(no really he was gangster and now is just regular scumbag) that has several 1 of 1 Lamborghinis build just for him, he even has countash driven by Lamborghini himself. Only good thing about him is that he puts them on display in his VW dealership.
And tornado proof too.
Awesome video! The Ford GT90 is one of the greatest 90’s engineering project cars. Looks like it’s in great hands with this Ford collection :)
Lap times? or was it just a barely running poster?
I hope he can show this on Jay Leno's garage or something! We need an in depth review, this is too awesome!! 🤯🤯
@9:07... I grew up in Orange, Texas and remember seeing some of the decommissioned Wickersham Ford Drag Mustangs behind the dealership. I went to school in the early 80's with one of the Wickersham boys. Really cool seeing this in your video.
So cool that this man let them sit in it, this is one of my dreams to sit in this car. The headlights we're so far ahead of their time in styling. Everything about the car is perfect.
No better person to take care of this vehicle, what a cool gentleman 🇺🇲
Seeing it again 29 years later still gives me chills - an absolute gem.
GT90 was one of my favorite cars as a kid. It still looks like something that could go straight into production today.

This whole video is the things of Legends. Growing up going to NHRA drag races my whole life since I was a kid getting to see these cars restored. Some of those builds are absolutely amazing. I have been a Ford fan through and through as my first car was a 5.0 mustang. What a dream it would be just to meet these guys and talk with them for a little bit. To aspire to be like this someday
A blast from the past 😎 i was brought back to my college years 0:02 when Ford was in cohoots with aston martin, jaguar, mazda and volvo. I had this article in motor trend magazine and car & driver😎 we had the undercover focus RS wearing a volvo hatchback skin, the gt40 made a small came back. The turbo probe/mx6 was a undercover sports compact, the taurus SHO was a yamaha 4dr sports car, svt focus was a cobra killer. What amazed me was people slept on so many of these cars and now slowly starting to recognize the potential they have. I owned a 02 svt focus with some bolt-on parts that surpised most cars at stop lights and dusted many in the backroads.
This is so cool didnt know about this and the owner seems like a cool guy!
