Let me try to cover all:
In this video we see Yasuo and his Half-brother Yone. They are frome Ionia, an ancient Asiatic-style reagion of runeterra, students of the wind technique.
I'll jump the youth, because i kinda self explanatory in the video, and i will talk about WHY they fought:
Ionia was under attack by Noxus, a military/gladiator region that want to conquer the entire world to make peace under it banner. While Yone had to go on the front. Yasuo was in charge to protect Elder Souma, last master of the legendary wind technique, but he died for an accident made by Riven, a character that we don't see in this cinematic (is the white haired girl the the arena in the "Awaken" video.)
Yasuo failed his task so was accused of treason. Yone was there to kill him. After Yasuo kicked his brother's ass he became a drunker-fugitive, seeking for atonement.
Yone, become an Azakana Hunter ( a Ionian word for demon), how he become that is explaned in "The Path, An Ionian Myth" video.

Yes, that was Ahri, a K/DA member (the nine-tail), but K/DA are not "lore canon". In Leage of Legends all the skin sets have their own lore.
Yes, the story of runeterra is moving with this story line. The last piece is the "Ruination" video (for Lucian and Senna pov) but we will atualy play the lore from the characters listened in "Ruined King: A League of Legends Story" videogame. I suggest to check the video out for your next reaction. ;D

He was not accused of treason for failing, riven had used some form of wind technique herself when she killed him and Yasuo was accused of murder. unable to prove his innocence he ran away and the remaining students of elder souma sent assassins to kill him, but he beat them all, untill one day his brother was the one sent to kill him, but failed as yasuo won and he lives with the burden of having killed his brother and having no place to stay, always on the move
Reading that made me realised that it is a lot like the fire nation trying to destroy the wind tribe :D
@@MrFox-xr9cc i guess partly, but Noxus is a quite diverse empire and ionia is a magical world where the wind technique is a very very small part of it. Also this is a side conflict as the "main" conflict of the lore would be the one between Noxus and Demacia, Demacia being a massive city built up by the people that took refuge in its magic dampening forest, it is now a Anti magic empire with a lot of power and a hate for everything magical.
@@elementalgolem5498 actually elder souma used the wind technique on rivens blade and accidentally killed himself. It wasn’t riven who used the technique :) this is why they blame yasuo, because it was wind technique that had killed him and only ones who knew it was souma, yasuo and yone.

The old man is the manifestation of Yasou's guilt. Hence why it grows stronger as he relives his killing of Yone. And as he is blinded by his guilt he cannot see it for what it is. This actually might be one of the best written cinematics I've ever watched.
The omnislash move was yasuos ultimate, indicated by the voiceline at the end of it 😊

I might be a little rusty on Yasuo's lore, but here it is:
A few years ago, Noxus invaded Ionia (Yasuo's land) and there was a huge war. The ionians eventually rallied and fought the noxians, as it was shown in the Awaken cinematic.
Yasuo and Yone learned sword techniques from the same master, Souma, but Yone was a dual wielder and Yasuo used only one sword. During the war, Yasuo was tasked to protect the master, while Yone went to fight the war. Yasuo was not satisfied with this and left to fight when he noticed the enemies were close. When he came back, he found the master dead and the village against him. The master was killed by a wind technique and he was the only one that knew those and he was the master's bodyguard. It was not Yasuo, it was Riven, the girl in the arena in the Awaken cinematic. She asked the master to destroy her sword but one of the shards hit him, but no one knew that. After that, she was adopted by an old couple in Yasuo's village who had no idea of her past.
Yasuo left the village as a fugitive and his brother went after him to kill him. Eventually, Yone found him and they fought. Yasuo got his scar and Yone died. Yasuo was guilty of that.
Years later, they found the shard of Riven's sword and did a trial, she confessed and was left there for the night. In the night, Yasuo showed up and they fought, but they realised it was an accident and that the master wanted to help her, so the village forgives Riven, but Yasuo feels guilty because even if it was an accident, he should have been there to protect him.
Sometime after this was the Spirit Blossom event, in which the ionians search for the flowers that hold their loved ones spirit. The flowers had stopped blooming after the war and this was the first time in years that it happened. And that's when the cinematic takes place.
In the end, after they leave for Bilgewater, we get closer to the present time, when the Ruination cinematic happens. They will release the Ruined King game, in which Yasuo is one of the playable characters, that takes place in Bilgewater

With all the sword fighting, i knew you'd love this one.
For the time line it is the present. The lore of league characters used to be set in stone. But with Lucian they made it evolve (with him finding and freeing Senna, so they could add her to the game). They did it again last summer with the Spirit Blossom event. We knew Yasuo killed his brother, it's his story line "lonely guy seeking redemption", but with this Yone was introduced.
If you remember correctly, at the end of ruination, Senna and Lucian are going to get some friends to defeat the Ruined King. On the other hand Yasuo and Ahri are heading to bildgewater. We know for a fact they're going to find other known characters there and end up going to fight the ruined king (this is the story line for riot next rpg game) so chances are they're going to team up with Lucian and senna as well. It is all connected!

In the time line all the recent cinematics are gathering champions to bilgewater to let the new game Canon, the one based on the ruination, after this there's technically the one where Viego appears with his mist all over the big cities

Hii something I dont think you have noticed but is a very cool thing to recognize. When Yassuo first shows his blade there are bloodstains and iron stains from the blood all over his weapon. When he goes in the water, the water washes it away and 'cleans it' symbolising the start of the healing process, and at the end after reuniting with yone as he shows his sword again to ahri its clean and shining, meaning a fresh new start

i feel like cutting off the eye in the cinematic signifies that both of them are being blinded their rage at the moment and they're not "seeing" each other, both of them are not seeing the truth.
Yasuo's main thing is sending out tornados at stuff knocking people into the air, he has a short range dash and any enemy that is airborne he can just teleport to and slash at. It wasn't in this video but he also has a wind wall he can make which blocks projectiles. His mains are known as the worst of the worst when it comes to the League of Legends community.
Yone has a dash that knocks up enemies, a big arcing sword slice that shields him if he hits stuff with it, an ability where he leaves his body for 6 seconds then goes back after he's done and the first ability except much bigger, knocks up and does stupid big damage. His mains are alright. However this animation is a big case of playing favourites, the champion before got like a 20 second trailer where Yone got a 10 ass minute anime lmao.
So the wind samurai Yasuo struck down his brother yone after Yasuo was accused with murdering the elder master. Yone died faced his inner demons in the limbo type place and took control of the demon to return to the physical realm and hunt these Azakana. The lesser demons that infect people and prey upon one of their core emotions.

And thats what you saw is from the Lore itself with Ionia and the war, i think something of the war is seen in the Video "Awaken" with the Irelia part.
And yes the last one at the Boat was Ahri (you have seen her in KDA), she normally looks like here.

This story is concurrent with the current league of legends story. But this story came out before all the Ruined King stuff came out. This is as you can see about Yasuo and Yone.
Yasuo was accused of treason because the person he was told to protect during an invasion (hence the argument scene between him and his brother), was killed by a wind attack. Yasuo is the only one who can use the wind techniques and so he was the easy target to accuse.
He proceeded to run and was hunted by the village and his brother. After killing his brother Yone, Yone became a spirit/demon who hunts down other demons and seal them into masks.
In this cinematic, Yasuo is looking to repent and climb the mountain but he was too late and so the demon tricked him into going with him and clean his spirit and repent.
The rest of the cinematic happens and after that, since Yone says Yasuo does deserve death but not by his hands, Yasuo proceeded to think his destiny and journey lies elsewhere. This was also the release cinematic for Yone as a playable champion.
At the end you see Yasuo and Ahri (from kda yes) on a boat that is going to Bilgewater (Pirate City), a lawless place where Yasuo can be anyone he wanted to be and restart his path. The cool thing is if you remember, Yasuo and Ahri was in the "The Ruined King: A league of legends story" cinematic, where they grouped up with people in Bilgewater to fight Viego, the ruined king. And so this is a prequel to that trailer. So all of this led up to Viego's story where they will try to figure out how to defeat him. But the Ruined King game will come out this month or maybe april and we'll see how that turns out.

Super short but the Fiddlesticks Teaser is really cool. Fiddlesticks is a demon who only can mimic what he hears people say because he doesn't understand what humans really are other than prey.

You should check out some Overwatch cinematics in case you haven't already, they use quite a few classic cinematic elements as well, usually they're very well made.
React to "Get Jinxed" please, or "Curse of the Sad Mummy". These are amazing.
Also an advice/request, I think you should watch it through once without interruption and analyze it after.

You should react to Fiddlestick: Terror in demacia. It's a short one (1 minute and 20 sec) that looks like a horror movie trailer. You could react to it with other character introductions cinematics. Most of them are short and are more trailers/teasers than an actual story
I dont know if u still read comments on older videos but at the end you can see that his sword is clean and not stained anymore (like it was when he woke up in the market - at 4:43 mark). Thats because Yone forgave him for what he did.
Now that you know Yasuo and Senna would be cool if you watch Ekko video and after that react to their music video in True Damage-Giants. And maybe the opening ceremony from 2019 where this and awaken are presented live.
You should react to "tales of runeterra", is like a serie of short videos for each region of the game make it for the league of legends cars game, the stories are so cool and the video with the visuals try to put you more into the different places and cultures. If I could recommend you one, is the tales of runeterra from Ionia because appears Akali (the rapper from KDA but without the skin).
Other people have already mentioned that the "story" with Yasuo and Ahri will continue in the game the Ruined King: A League of Legends Story game which is a single player rpg. It will be the first game I think they have that purely is about pushing the lore forward. There is a trailer/teaser for it that doesn't show much but does show Yasuo and Ahri having arrived in the pirate town of Bilgewater:

the scene at the end is like a prelude to a story that is still about to happen. im not sure if i got it right. but RIOT is about to release a game on the same universe. some of the happenings on their recent canon cinematics will somehow find its way on that game. i forgot the title. oh and btw. the character at the end is Ahri..

many reaction on this vid but nobody mention the bloodstain on Yasuo's sword before and after meeting Yone, which mean Yasuo found the path that he needs to take
You should definitely react to "A New Dawn" also by Riot or League of Legends. It's a cool action cinematic where there's no dialogue but you can definitely get the story.

I will also try to provide an encompassing summary about what you've seen.
So it's important to know that this story is set in Ionia, a land which is very connected to the spirit realm in the world of Runaterra. People in Ionia live in harmony with the land and won't even hurt the trees or the living inhabitants of it since then the land would fight back. So they are focused on balance and humility. It's been for many years but sadly a conquering empire called Noxus decided to take over the lands of Ionia (which is a very big continental island in the ocean) so that the sent a legion of soldiers to war. The Ionians was very uneasy about fighting back since their main principals were always about keeping peace no matter the cost. So they basicly watched for a while as the Noxians slaughtered them but a young girl Xan Irelia (who you saw in the Awaken video) got possessed by an ancient spirit of Ionia so that she could fight back with her dance combined sword techniques (fun fact that those blades she levitates are the parts of her family's insignia which was broken by a noxian soldier after he killed her family).
Anyways the reason why I tell you this is because of the opression against Noxus ... Ionia got tainted by blood and with so many negative emotions that arised around that time. So the gap between the spirit world and the real world got little that from these negative emotions different types of demons (In the story called Azakanas) arised. They fed on these negative emotions eversince then and possess people.
Yasou was a very talented swordman who's mentor was one of the greatest samurai of Ionia , Elder Suma. Due to his old age he wasn't able to protect himself during the Noxian invasion but Yasou insisted that he should be outthere fighting for Ionia instead of protecting his mentor who would be fine on his own. Yasou was the strongest one and this is why they wanted to keep him as a bodyguard for the old man. Yet Yasou left and an invader called Riven accidentaly killed him ... so that their story's got connected. It was rumoured even that it was Yasou who killed him. Riven(the girl you saw in the arena in Awaken) fled from Noxus after realizing the things she's done so she became the exiled and Yasou's honour got stained so he became the unforgiven. This story actually happens after Yasou and Riven settled the score between each other. So after Yasou fled his brother due to his very responsible nature agreed on hunting down his brother for doing this sin , they clashed and Yasou had no choice but to kill his brother. Now Yone in the spirit realm faced with a demon and eventualy became one with it but still keeping his own mind. So as a spirit now he seeks to restore the balance and order he swore to protect even after his own death. Leaving Yasou alone means that he forgave his brother for the crimes he did and acknowledging that only by the law he should be punished but he never wanted to hurt him in any ways. Yone truly loves/d Yasou.
In the end you see Ahri from popstars but this is her original lorewise form. A nine-tailed fox and all of them are going to Bilgewater and then eventually fight with the ruined king you saw in the Ruination cinematic.

Hey brother I know its a bit late and somethings have changed (quiet massively over time.) but I would love to see you react to a few other League things: This order would be a little better since you can get a bigger grasp of things.
1: A Twist of Fate - This video is super old from 2013 before they were even making extreme stories. The overall video helps let you grasp the sense of the characters within the game some having other videos that people either have already said to watch or you have watched already
Such as; Twisted Fate (Card Magic man), Fiddlesticks (Scarecrow in this version it is his OLD self. He no longer looks ANYTHING like this however is still the same "consept" in a way), Garen who you most likely saw in Warriors and a couple other videos. Ryze who you will see in multiple cinematics from "player" portrials to his own story of what is happening with the "world runes" and Annie that you seen in Origins. That you can get more of a scope of her powers and who she kinda is as a character "now".
This animation is more about the game however than it is about the story. It's mostly fighting then anything else but it still gets you more into the scope of League even if it is only a little bit.
2: Terror in Demacia - This is Fiddlesticks rework and lore about the Warriors cinematic and what happened "afterwords" in Demacia after Sylas's big rebellion. (Might be mistaken)
3: Fiddlesticks, The Ancient Fear | Champion Theme - This wont be a "traditional" video persay. Since its a music video though it shows all the designs consepts and things going into him to see what drawings they thought of and how overtime they came up with whatever (Obviously you can do this on your own time if you want but yea I would love to see a reaction maybe together with Terror in Demaicia since Terror is a very short video.)
4: Annie Origins Behind the Scenes: Yes they made one of these, not sure if you saw it or not but I would love to see your reaction on this since you were very very enthosiastic about the oil paintings and how it was all alive and how it was made etc.
5: A New Dawn - Another sense of the game. That you will enjoy, older video that olds up super well. Shows off Darius (From Ruination), Ahri (KDA, And this video), Graves (From other videos if you end up watching and will give a scope on how strong he actually is), Katarina (From A Twist of Fate). I feel like im missing more, but anyway hope you enjoy our amazing universe :D
Also little note: They are making an MMO (just started so it wont be quick development as you can tell from the videos XD but they are making one!)

If you want more context of stories, characters etc I reccommend looking up Necrit. He does all league stories and presents them in a great fashion while reading too you the stories and explaining.

Yo. You should check a channel called TBSkyen. He does really detailed, frame by frame break downs of animation and character design. So if you want to know more about the techniques they use in animation and why they did this or that I recommend you give his video on this cinematic a watch at least.

I'd been waiting for you to get to this one, it was an absolute work of art right up there alongside Annie: Origins. The amount of detail they animated in, coupled with the subtle dialogue they add are just take it to the next level. You would probably enjoy The Path, an Ionian Myth. It dovetails into this video by following Yone (the murdered brother). Also even though it is short, I would love to see your take on their announcement trailer for the Ruined King game, it's one of my favorite videos they have released

13:11 i suppose you don't quite understand how th lore of League and the game works...
So here is a somewhat TLDR Explanation of both the lore and the Game....
If you didnt know, League is no story game, its a MOBA (Massive Online Battle Arena), that means there is one map in the core gamemode (Summoners Rift) which is a 5v5 map with 5 Rolles (which should awnser your quiestion from 8:23)... the Game League of Legends has no story by itself but its Champions do.
This cinematic, the Ruination cinematic, all Legends of Runeterra cinematics and more are set in the World of Runeterra which is the World where Leagues Champions come from , which is set in a medieval like setting with magic, a bit of sience and even horror... but this is not the only story there is... (note, Summoners rift is seperate for Runeterra... you could compare Summernors rift to a Simulation of what would happen if you put 2 teams of 5 random champions from Runeterra against each other)
Now since League is a free to play game, riot obviously has to make money by selling cosmethics and part of those are Champions Skins... over time Riot started to incorperate lore into their Skinlines such as K/DA and True Dammage which are for example connectet and play with the idea of what if some of Leagues champs live in our world and would become famous singers/bands, other would be for example Anime Based Skinlines such as Star Guardian or Battle Academia or even the Galaxy based Skinlines like Darkstar and Cosmic where some champs are reimagined as both good and evil Cosmic beeings... and if this is too much just look at the more simple High Noon SKinline, a wild west based skinlines... but there are ofc also skinline with no real lore that are simply there to either honor sth or just for fun like the Championship skins (for the world championships) or the Lunar Skins which honor the chinese lunar new year ...
And thanks to these skins riot can both have a big continuous story with the Base champ aswell as create lots of crazy, fantastic and interesting diffrent stories without breaking the main lore...

Actually the KDA universe is different from this one. This is the main universe. while the kda one is just an alternate one.
League always had a lore but recently started to move forward.
Yone and Yasuo are great characters lore wise to me. I prefer Yone because his Spirit Blossom skin is so cool and means more because of this cinematic
Ahri is not owned by K/DA. This K/DA belongs to the league of legends. And in general, Ahri was one of the first league champions since the 2000s.
