Unironically the elite black knights have a better loot table than tormented demons. Was the normal loot this bad back in the day?
OG tormented demons had pretty shit drops back in the day which is part of why dclaws were so expensive. They basically paid for supplies and that's it.
Even so, the osrs demons have a way worse drop table lmao, it's so fuckin bad it's crazy honestly considering how absurdly tanky they are. Basically basilisk knights all over again but worse because none of the items are even bis lol.

@GRIMHOOD99 true. So, really, old tormented demons were still better than modern. But also dragon plate body wasn't that good, imo again part of why it was so expensive was because it was locked behind wgs or farming tormented demons. And it wasn't even that expensive iirc, dragon platebody peaked around 15m (so like 5m per shard) while dclaws peaked at like 40m
tormented demons had claws at 1/256. a quarter of the drop rate of bone claws and half the drop rate of the synapse
Tormented demons are bugged. If you die in PvP safe, combat ring, lms, white portal, soul wars, castle wars. Then go die at tormented demons. The last person that you fought in safe PvP will get your loot key. Be ware.

Keep in mind the range str bonus is currently bugged on the scorching bow so when it is fixed and gets its +40 range strength it will hit even harder!!!!
This has already been fixed, but the update page just said it wasn't displaying the correct values, rather than the strength not actually being there.
Even though I haven't played RuneScape since 2008 I still enjoy watching videos about RuneScape it's has changed so much while being the same it's amazing almost makes me want to get back in the game

Hey Raikdey, theres a plug in called Bossing info that times your kills, tells you how many KPH and GP/PH and you can set a goal also, it's a pretty cool plug in :)
These items are way too niche. They had the quest and monster, but they didnt really think the rewards through. Tormented demons are dead once these items drop in value. They don't even drop any supplies in any useful amount.
The tormented synapse can be used to craft some of the best weaponry in the game.

their drop table will get re-worked, they always get drop table re-works after content drop to feel out the community sentiment
With the bone class vs dragon claws, you forgot to factor in after the d claws special you could hit a max it in regular gear in place of the 3rd bone claw special

I’m an Ironman that tries my best to only get combat exp from slayer tasks, so I am so excited to be able to get this stuff from greater demon tasks. I immediately extended them. Really hoping to upgrade from the d scim soon if I get a lot of zombies tasks or smthn, but I just recently learned about the new hunters xbow too, so definitely gonna get that asap

Tormented demons are either going to be dead content or buffed in the near future
they need better average drops also make it so 2 cant attack you mid fight which messes up the kill, as killed few and had 2-3 come at me when one was half hp and they start smacking me.

As an ironman who just couldn't boss properly due to anxiety... the tormented demons is a relief for me... finally I can get a good bow with my amethyst arrows.

Such a moronic comment, having new content in old school follow the pattern of new content back in the day is totally fine as long as every update is not a backport (which it isn't)
@@CreamerMusic mate I understand you’re pov but I think the majority will disagree. Rs3 did die and osrs was made because of EoC and all the mtx they introduced. They then made rs3 pay to win. You could literally max for 14k on rs3.
new bow works great at anything demon, but anything none demon bowfa do better at which is bigger percentage for bosses.

I loved Dungeoneering. Granted it was more of a mini game than a skill but it was actually fun to do with a team of mates.

I might have just finally quit runescape, not even the HD client can bring back the peak that was this game before the shit fest of rs3.
Probably the only update that can really butter my biscuit is old ancient prayers + dungeoneering + overloads
Basically unless it's pre-eoc anything they do is irrelevant to me. I'm not even asking for summoning, dungeoneering is enough but most likely they will try to make it feel "old-school" and fuck it up too.

Originally he was replaced by Lapalok but Kuradal was eventually released as a higher tier slayer master and his daughter. I doubt OSRS team wants to release a new slayer master any time soon so they put Kuradal instead of Lapalok in because it honestly makes much more sense.

2 weeks later another 100000 weapons come out and then these items are jack shit.. after that 2 months later another 10 bows come, then this shit is useless! It´s becoming like wow BiS gear.. grind your ass off an entire expansion just to realize next patches quests give green gear better than your previous mythic gear.. same thing as rs. you finally get your shit, then these idiotic weapons come and break the game.. It feels worthless to even grind out stuff like this. for what? to maybe enjoy your bis shit for 2 weeks?... rs needs to stop coming with content.. yes content is always good! i don't wanna come across as someone who rather see the game die, but too much content is also deadly for a game..
These weapons aren’t even BiS..idk what you are crying about. Bone claws are a pile of poop, the bow is really only good for the spec and then you switch back to a tbow. Haven’t messed with the staff but even if it’s great it’s still restricted to demons, so not sure the uses of it atm but I doubt there is very many. These are all basically restricted to demon monsters so even if they were BiS at demons it’s nowhere near BiS anywhere else. staff is pricey as hell too as far as rune cost go so even if you find a place it’s great at it won’t be widely used due to that fact alone

@@ovs4744 tbow isn't bis over anti-demon bow, it was bugged so it didn't have ranged strength the first few hours and presumably when raikesy made this video. It's fixed now and is bis against demons. Also the mage weapon has the best magic accuracy of any 1 handed mage weapon in the game so it'll be useful in pvp and is bis against demons with demonbane spells + mark of darkness
