Bogdana Pivnenko is the Head of the violin department, professor at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine, a member of its Academic Council and professor at the Kyiv Lysenko State Music Lyceum.
Bogdana Pivnenko is the Honoured Artist of Ukraine.
Bogdana graduated with distinction from the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine, class of Bohodar Kotorovych, and than completed an assistantship program course. She was studying with Prof. B.Kotorovych, Prof. I. Pylatyuk, M.Kuznetsov and also took part in master classes conducted by V. Tretyakov, Z. Bron, O.Parhomenko, B. Gromov.
Bogdana Pivnenko is the winner of the Interpreters Performers International Competition, Mykola Lysenko International Competition, ‘New Names of Ukraine’ national arts program, ‘IBLA Grand Prize’ International Competition, Special prizes - Concert at Weil Hall Carnegie Hall.
Bogdana Pivnenko performed as a soloist with leading Ukrainian orchestras and presented Ukrainian music around the world, including Philharmonie Berlin, Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall, Palau de la Musica Catalana, International Youth& Music Festival Vienna (Grand prix), Berliner Festspiele MaerzMusik, Europaisches Klassik Festival, ‘Kyiv Music Fest’, The Warsaw Autumn, ‘Nostalgia’, Malta Festival. She regularly participates in premiere performances of works by contemporary Ukrainian composers. She presented the author's program of Valentin Silvetrov’s ‘Melodies of Moments’ together with the composer. She is the author and producer of the ‘Anthology of Contemporary Ukrainian Music’ 11C (11 CDs of music by Ukrainian composer M.Skoryk, V.Silvestrov, E.Stankovych, V.Zubytsky, Z.Almashi, I.Shcherbakov, O.Levkovych).
The latest "Ukrainian Quintet" by Borys Lyatoshynsky/ Valentin Silvestrov/ Viktoria Poleva was released in 2020 on Naxos label.
She worked with conductors, such as Juozas Domarkas, Vladimir Sirenko, Saulius Sondeckis, Oksana Lyniv Volodymyr Shejko, Theodore Kuchar, Natalya Ponomarchuk, Erki Pehk, Liutauras Balciunas and others.

About me
In 2001 I started teaching violin at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine,
Since 2017 I have been Head of the Violin Department at the Tchaikovsky National Academy of Music of Ukraine
At the same time, I have toured extensively as a soloist with the orchestra, as a chamber musician, as the concertmaster of the National Soloists Ensemble "Kyiv Soloists" (1998-2004), and as a member of the International Orchestra "Philharmonie of the Nations" (2001-2004, 2008-2010).
I am experienced as a solo musician, a soloist with an orchestra, as a chamber musician, as a concertmaster of a chamber orchestra and as a symphony orchestra artist.
Collaborated with several leading composers of Ukraine, many of them dedicated their works to me. Among them Myroslav Skoryk, Valentine Silvestrov (dedicated two cycles for violin and piano), Yevhen Stankovych (dedicated his Concerto No. 4), Volodymyr Zubytsky (dedicated Concerto No. 1), Zoltan Almashi (dedicated his "Seasons").
In 2013 I started teaching children at the Kyiv Lysenko Special Music School, now the Kyiv Lysenko Music Lyceum.
I was wondering if I could make competitive “hi-level”kids from scratch.
I am well equipped to “launch” every young student entering my class with a concrete individual plan aiming at their achieving high competitive level of performance within realistically the minimum amount of time.
