This Is The BEST Yuumi Player I've EVER Seen -- Yuumi Support Guide (Learn To Have Impact On Yuumi)

  • Yuumi support is the epitome of the enchanter support playstyle, she is very safe because she is untargetable when on an ally champion and her kit is centered around healing and peeling (slowing/rooting).
    I have had a lot of requests for a yuumi enchanter support guide and never got around to making one because there just aren't any good Yuumi players around (they're all afk's), but I finally found one player in Challenger who actually makes Yuumi work and has a positive win-rate (57%!!! everyone else has negative w/r in Challenger lmao).

      @@PixiePink Only saw this now, Senna is a really good lane bully vs low range champs but you have to be very cautious with her because she's easy to gank, she scales really well so you don't have to force hard on her to do well as long as you're getting souls and supp item gold, just do your best in fights from a safe angle like an ADC and heal teammates when needed ^^ Might consider doing a vid on her soon since she's being played a lot 😁

      @@PrizumLoL I put some of this into practice and won 2 games in a row in solo queue, 2 games that seemed unwinnable. I usually go luden's yuumi and giggle when i out dps my whole ass team but since that's not as easy anymore with her nerfs, I decided on a more supporty, yet aggressive yuumi. Worked out pretty well.
      I watched some support guides on where and when to put wards, I made sure not to hop off if enemy hasn't used CC skills, but when they did it was poke central. Biggest thing I can suggest here though is mention Yuumi's best picks for adc/apc ride. My favorites are, in order, Jhin, Veigar, Twitch, Rengar/Khazix, any good scaling champions after that. But Jhin hands down has epic advantages.
      Mostly being his w. I poke with my q, a good jhin tags the w, it's usually a kill or an easy "trade." If you can call it a trade seeing as it's usually just free unblockable poke.

    This is how I play yuumi but I get stuck with ADCs that don’t understand her and they walk back when I Q and they ditch me if I get aggressive and leave me to die. Also aggressive works well if you don’t get interrupted causing W cool down reset. It’s a death sentence most of the time with crappy adc

    It is easy to play aggressive lvl 1 against Kaisa and Lulu as there is no real threat of getting cc'd until Lulu buys her W. If Yuumi is cc'd she can easily die as she has no flash or can't use her W.

      you underestimate the power of having two combat summoners for lvl 1, no one can burst through a yuumi passive +hp bar while exhausted in the time it takes for her to have W up again. if she took health pots then she can heal while being untouchable too from that trade.
      This is the biggest bait you will lose to yuumi lvl 1 to, if she gets back onto her ADC you have gained no pressure since you have to now delete the adcs hp bar to get to hers anyway and she has traded a chunk of your hp before having to. yuumi probaly has the strongest lvl 1 trading power of all the enchanters just because of this alone

    Ive also been trying to be proactive with yuumi (meaning getting off and using my passive as much as i can) since ive only played her for 5 days. I like to take hits as suggested here in early games. And use my Q. (Get Q first as always). And as much as I am not used to exhaust+ignite. It is better to have them, like legitimately😂 but since im still bronze onto rank, I still get bad ADC players who expect me to heal them cause they dive so early, so what happens is we get a 3rd party. Which is BAD😭 ill try to grab onto them for 10 times if they are bad and try to stick to my lane and help them. But if they are trash-talking(toxic) me, expect me to barely if not ever grab onto you. Even doe I play really well as support in those 4 days (like 90%+ chance of getting S Rank) league players still like to trash talk hard.

      if you wish to climb elo as support play tank or apc support in low elo.
      Back in season 5-6 I played annie support in low elo until plat, then you can start thinking about enhancers (lulu, nami, yuumi, zilean). Annie support with predator is very strong at level 6. You just get your 4 stacks and all in on adc, in low elo they just die every time you full combo adc unless your adc is afk. Another great picks are vel koz and xerath, if you can land skill shots, enemy adc will camp in fountain until laning phase is over.

      Know it's far later, but if you are playing into a strong lane or one your not confident in starting e helps a lot, since it can also be used aggerively to really bully the level 1 fight with the extra summoner, or more importantly not getting shoved and zoned cause your adc took a bad trade.

      @yusuke157 2 года назад

      the most basic is, keep an eye ate your W cd so you can go back if danger appears, and track cc.
      for example against a nautilus your window to proc shield is almost 0, against leona you have a little more leeway but still ultra risky, then comes alistar, rell, trhesh, pyke, blitz, you either jump out and back extra fast between the minions or wait then to use the engage in your adc.
      things just become really complicated when you go out in teamfights, sometimes there is 0 oportunities and you have to make then by jumping to another person, the moment you learn to let people die it become even more easier.

    • @leemaiden388
      @leemaiden388 2 года назад +2

      as a Yuumi you look at what situation you are in and consider threats that can kill you before you can W to safety and play around that logic most the time, Lvl 1 you are deceptively strong at trades since engage champs have limited tools and typically some easy way to avoid harm.
      its better to be active if you think you can be early game, mid/late game you will need to pick key moments to be unattached since damage champs blow you up now.
      Remember your hp is a tool because you can hide it, if the enemy adc is Cait you can plan to have enough hp to soak her R for your ADC rather than try to heal through that trade so you can use game knowledge to plan ahead on what you think is more important.

    How to ward and have vision control with 330 movement speed? Teammates not gonna listen to u and help u ward, they do their own things like farming so my Yuumi games have dark af maps, the best I can do is shallow vision in the river. Other enchanters like Lulu and Karma have speed boosts to roam faster, and some sort of self peel, tank supports buy mobility boots, but Yuumi can’t do either.

    • @PrizumLoL
      @PrizumLoL  Год назад +2

      To have total vision control you have to be winning and lanes pushing, for warding you place wards as your carry moves around with you or you jump out to place wards if enemy team is dead/you won a fight or if you see everyone on the map so you known you're safe to ward. You can also ping your teammate so they know you want to ward and jump back on them.
      Map will be dark most games below Dia/Plat, warding is a team effort so don't stress too much and focus on winning your lane each game so your ADC can carry with you ^^

    • @alexrider2597
      @alexrider2597 Год назад

      @@PrizumLoL I also find recall timings awkward cuz ideally I don’t wanna recall by myself and walk back to the map with 330 movement speed, so I only recall when my attached teammate recalls but ofc it’s not gonna be out of sync e.g.
      1: They wanna farm and fight but I have 2k gold to spend but I’m not gonna recall by myself and join my team late; so if I see some other teammate recalling on the other side of the map and I need to reset I will recall too to sync up at base together.
      2: They wanna recall but I have no gold to spend and would rather place vision, so sometimes I just hop off and risk being picked off as I walk to another teammate to attach to.
