Part of the problem, I think, is that junglers who aren't confident in their own gameplay will often let themselves get bullied by their teammates into making the wrong decisions. *OF COURSE* the laners want you to be perma-ganking because it makes their game easier, most of them have never actually *played* jungle to know what ganking costs (Which is also why the 3 minute gank is so weirdly successful). One small note for people at the kled gank in those situations lets say nasus death timer was longer, when the wave is sitting around there if you trim the wave to 4 minions it will freeze at that point giving your top laner a comfortable position to farm and potentially setting up a 2nd gank to punish an early tp etc.
Could you upload a game where all 3 lanes lost while you're following your own advice and the enemy jungler is enabled by his team mates to show what you should be doing to turn the game around? Maybe on J4 or something?
Amazing video. The hard part is getting to this quick and defined decision making without too much hesitation and obviously not missing everything now lol
I'm playing jungle 2nd role so i've watched a load of jungle content and it's the first time i see pings be used that way "ping them off and ping the next objective" that's actually really smart, i usually ping assist on ppls head then on objectives when i want them to do something but with the 3 pings restriction it became harder to communicate since ppl can be a bit thick, the back off ping look a lot more effective. Great vid
@@saloscontent Yes, but playing jungle makes you a lot more self conscious about coms and map awerness tbh, since you are the one initiating play or asking for rotation on objetctives, so when i'm laning i allways have my jungle gameplay in the back of my mind. YES! Thank you! The expected gold value out of farming camps is usually better, unless gank is garanteed. (Of course, sometimes we can impact lanes in other ways than gold, but gold is a very reliable parameter in terms of victories)
Thought this was a simply detailed guide for jungling but those ping advice are super helpful. If you just wran ping your team, they get confused and do dumb plays, but if you tell them what to do it becomes easier for them to understand.😊

Love this feature with pings to teamates in order of saying them what they mustnt do and then what they need to do, now I will try to use it in my games, thanks perry♥
First time I've seen such a smart league player in the jungle who describes what he's doing Thank you very much I had problems figuring out what to do because when I play jungle I can't find what to do but seeing you play you know what you want each second of the game I hope you have a nice day
Your first 5 minutes of your gameplay is more worth than a thousand minutes of other "educational" content of League. As a OTP Xin Zhao I'm in a 6 victories streak with your help, currently Platinum I. Thank you!!!!!!
So how jungling works if you want to be consistent: fullclear (doesn't matter to where, most of the time would be top to bot tho), be efficient at clearing, after you are done and level 4, look at all the lanes and see where you can get free kills, if nothing is possible, take scuttle and base. Before starting next fullclear (if gromp/krugs haven't respawned yet), look at the lane they are closest to, if it's a freekill, take it, else go for second fullcear. After second fullclear, it's time to play for first dragon or void grubs. To know which one to play for, look at your laners, see where your prio is, think about what enemy jg wants to do and take whatever possible. Do this EVERY game and you will get to Master, at least.
You cant look at Nasus see 0-2 say its loosing lane its incorrect, Nasus is scaling lane yes you wanna leave him alone unless free kills early, but you gotta know his powerspikes if you look back at game youll notice when Nasus got Trinity force other team couldnt really 1 vs 1 him from there on they had to 2 vs 1 him, this means winning lane strong powerspike Nasus has scaled. Then you look at items who has strongest powerspike nasus or smolder, well that one comes down to stacks actually but both are actually scalers. and KDA wont determine whether they are loosing you gotta dig a bit deeper. Other than that great video, loved the teaching style and talking of your thought process. But jungler isnt as easy as people think not only do you have to know how to, know where other jungler is, also gotta know about lane matchups, ther powerspikes item powerspikes, are they scalers early game champs. You actually gotta strategize pre entering the game whether to farm up or down. Everything around this role makes it so you gotta play chess while for most laners its sufficiant to play checkers.
Your point about telling them what to do along with what not to do is great. Its like if someone is fat and hungry you can't just say "Don't eat mcdonalds idiot" you have to give them a free salad.
I literally just watched this video, then played a game, did the exact pattern. I ended up getting a quadrakill, going 13-3-3 on xin, won the game with 3 honors, and was 4 levels and 5k gold ahead of the enemy jungler. I've never ganked top so much, literally ever, just because the opportunity was there after krugs, like perry said. I tend to just keep powerfarming and really fixate on that, but changing my mentality to hurry to level 6 and get my first item completed and then start impacting the map totally changed how passively I was playing. Great stuff Perry, keep it coming!
Can you please do one on assassin's, specially ok k6. If you have the time.. thanks a lot for all the knowledge that you shared with the community. Really appreciate it
This is an interesting point, because usually laners are up a level or 2. Having the item mitigates that. I dont agree about Void grubs and drakes. I have been running demolish / sheen item on shaco with TP. I dont need flash. I can split push and make cross map plays. You can argue that im not jungling at that point but my OBJ damage is very high and map control is at like masters level. I am not at all a master but that one stat is bonkers. I have been silver 2 before. I always go after VG and rift. Also if your tempo is good you can get all of them. I see you mean camp 1. I also hold my spells and think about an exit strat when im in the 'kill box' of drake or rift/baron. Your ability to kite those large camps out has me in awe to be honest and ive been doing it like 2 seasons. I can be top for example they feel safe and I can TP bot. With my R, Wards and boxes .... I can be very annoying mid and late game with non stop lane camping. I dont like to focus drakes for 2 reasons. 1 AP shaco takes forever and 2, getting 2 randos in a bot lane to do what you need/want is impossible. You pulling the drake back while contested with no vision on back of pit ... thank you for showing others this as well. As jungle you see the map in quadrants. but also think of it like keeping pressure on their side of map.
Ok, @5:11 he does drag due to noc being topside (the only reason he can do it). But what if enemy jg came and contested, and they obviously have a number advantage with the enemy bot lane present and ally waiting 30-40s to return?
Before I watch the video it might be valuable to hear from a silver player’s perspective to critique. A champ that I play a lot(40% of my games) is WW and I feel like a lot of the time my champ’s success is based off that lvl 3 or 4 gank. Most of the time, excluding the current patch ww has no viability later. Rn I’m finding a lot of success playing on hit, so if I can get first blood and build BoRK first I can take over. Haven’t watched the video yet but I suspect I will be told banking is riskier than farming and going for map objectives is more valuable than ganks. I agree on both points., however the window of opportunity for ww closes early so to pull that off I would need to up my micro on my clear speed.
So basically even if you're a ganking jungler you want to farm instead of forcing dumb fights because the stronger you get the more effective you're ganks will be and naturally (especially in low ELO) fights will just happen and the more farm you have the more items you have and the more items you have the more likely you'll win those fights and start getting fed and snowball? Makes sense to me
I'd pick approach velocity over cosmic insight on xin zhao everytime. Earlier smite cd is cool but as xinzhao you can get perma ms boost is insane pressure on enemy
You usually just lose the game unless you have a hard scaler on your team. In that case just try to stop the bleeding until they come online. If that still doesn’t help then it’s an unwinnable game that you just chalk up to fate and keep it pushing
Around what elo do grubs become a higher priority, I personally LOVE the 6 grub buff but I agree it seems like lower elo never takes advantage of the buff
Just want to point out that you had 3 hypercarries this game, so by just simply preventing your tier 2 towers from falling you've made the game completely unwinnable for the enemy. They can't deal with all three of them lategame.
Here is where i get confused, why not smiting this camp instead of smiting the raptors? 3:37 i always use it first so the CD comeback earlier but idk i watch some high elo and they don't do it even in the early clears
Lane players should be required to watch this video before queuing for ranked. You can have 2000 gold, 1/4 HP, and that asol will ping you every time when you didn't "save him" from across the map.
Yeah, those concepts are clear for me. What I don't know is what to do when their Garen is 12/0, their Akali is 10/0. Because I try playing like you told us to, farming, obectives and when I blink that enemy Draven is 8/0 and I have no idea of how to counter that.
16:40 He uses his brain to consider which enemy is strongest, assess that he wants to avoid her, UNLESS there are circumstances he can gain an advantage on her. Notice he didn't just throw his hands up and claim Syndra is 30/0 and nothing he can do. That's why he's good.
got a whole playlist of me playing in various elos, most of which have losing teammates/thanos enemies. take a look ruclips.net/p/PLsdRCAAG6xsnYdhc-m0J8MOLX2kF2MZfM
Thank you, I'll be referencing this all season. Question...When you look at your replays after a loss what are some key plays/moments in the game to review?
I'm fine with power farming, but when my Shaco power farms whole game, somehow has 100 less cs and hasn't gotten a single objective or ganked a lane... then we have a problem.
Obviously, gold wins games, jungle is just another lane. And good tip about not ganking losing lanes, people who win their lane know what they're doing, they at least read what their abilities do.
Problem in my Games is, that my Toplane is actually 0/4 before I even full cleared. Had this like 6 rounds in a row. I know this is just unlucky but its a bit frustrating
Dispelling the Low Elo Narrative Playlist: ruclips.net/video/bHDl_cdanVU/видео.html
When should you play for farms vs ganks? My geuss is that ganks should be for highly volatile matchups.
Its all so simple, but my smooth, silver ranked, monkey brain will forget it all as soon as I'm in a game lmao

This is awesome. But what do you do while you're hardcore farming. The enemy Volibear is up 4-0 because he has successfully ganked??

Great vid
a question: are you listening to pings from others like you expect them to listen to you?
@@saloscontent Yes, but playing jungle makes you a lot more self conscious about coms and map awerness tbh, since you are the one initiating play or asking for rotation on objetctives, so when i'm laning i allways have my jungle gameplay in the back of my mind. I understand the question was kinda rhetorical tho but still not completeley useless to add some imput ;)
YES!
Just tried this playstyle, with idea that replicating it to 100% is not possible. Followed you as good as i could and damn was i strong, even tho i failed at some points. Thanks for this guide!
Love the content. I just found your videos after being so confused on how to jungle properly. New player here. Man you are great with explanations ❤
Love this feature with pings to teamates in order of saying them what they mustnt do and then what they need to do, now I will try to use it in my games, thanks perry♥
Seven games in a row I had 3 levels and soul on the enemy jungle, still lost.
First time I've seen such a smart league player in the jungle who describes what he's doing
Thank you very much I had problems figuring out what to do because when I play jungle I can't find what to do but seeing you play you know what you want each second of the game
I hope you have a nice day
i havent played jungle in so long, but played again with this type of mindset, i found it super useful.
its not so much about taking "no risks" but following the highest percentage textbook play
I LOVE THIS SERIESSS THANK YOU. best ojne
Your first 5 minutes of your gameplay is more worth than a thousand minutes of other "educational" content of League.
As a OTP Xin Zhao I'm in a 6 victories streak with your help, currently Platinum I. Thank you!!!!!!
I think that’s what I need to escape Plat. I tend to autopilot a lot of games.
Thanks for the video. Very informative!
I learned alot from this video. Thanks my guy! I also subbed.😊
"People don't know how to use grubs" So how do you use them effectively?
POV: you wanna stick to the plan, so does your iron to platinum toplaner helping you clearing camps
10:32 "I lost track of where they were" while buying tunneler is pretty meta.
Very helpful. I know you hate the low elo matches but it’s awesome to watch you show us how to carry.
That was a great video. Your an amazing teacher. Wow!
Thanks bro, your lesson is so easy to understand
You're def one of the goats of teaching league bruh.
Awesome instructive video! Thanks! +1 sub!
Never has a video made me want to play jungle confidently, thank you
awesome video bro please keep making these
bro just dropped a masterclass in jungling
you made it look easy, this is real coaching
side effekt: your entire family tree will get insulted by top bot anf bot, for not ganking every lane 24/7
"My ASol is tping". My ASol is doing some psycho shit here". 😂😂😂
Very informative!
Great content tbh. Keep it up!
Saw this in my reddit and immediately came over! Just finished the Elise video, solid stuff!
Update: 3 win Streak with this method
Just finished the video, gonna go replicate and see what my results look like with Xin Zhao
Ok, @5:11 he does drag due to noc being topside (the only reason he can do it). But what if enemy jg came and contested, and they obviously have a number advantage with the enemy bot lane present and ally waiting 30-40s to return?
this was so helpful, thank you
100% Approved on every single words.
now i know why junglers never come on bot to gank, also it's legendary rare to see jungler taking 2 drakes
I picked up Reksai recently and I needed to see this. Good video!
please dont full clear with reksai
@@hoca4281 why not, if there's nothing to play for what the fuck are you supposed to do
@@pandanym3065 force a gank anyway, thats just how reksai works

In before a video "Junglers, please just gank!"
Good info thanks for the video mate
Great Video!
U simply can’t farm faster than a jungler getting fed off an inting teammate.
“Always help your winning lane.”
But what if all three of your lanes are losing?
You usually just lose the game unless you have a hard scaler on your team. In that case just try to stop the bleeding until they come online. If that still doesn’t help then it’s an unwinnable game that you just chalk up to fate and keep it pushing
10:36 YOOOOO Kled missed Perry by a hair
Around what elo do grubs become a higher priority, I personally LOVE the 6 grub buff but I agree it seems like lower elo never takes advantage of the buff
"okay it's full wipe because i'm full build because i've been farming so efficiently"
brother you are 19-0
"brain dead teammate pinging me? you're muted."
I don’t even play league but watched this whole thing and learned a lot lol
Thanks so much for these tips! Can I ask what to do when basically every lane is losing though?
It took me so long to learn this. as soon as i did i went hard stuck bronze to silver 1 74 lp in a couple of weeks
Great content!
yeah this works when enemy jungler spam ganks and is 6/0 after second clear. And one level up and item advantage
Your channel is amazing
What do I do when there's 3 losing lanes and they are all 0/4?
16:40
He uses his brain to consider which enemy is strongest, assess that he wants to avoid her, UNLESS there are circumstances he can gain an advantage on her.
Notice he didn't just throw his hands up and claim Syndra is 30/0 and nothing he can do. That's why he's good.
got a whole playlist of me playing in various elos, most of which have losing teammates/thanos enemies. take a look ruclips.net/p/PLsdRCAAG6xsnYdhc-m0J8MOLX2kF2MZfM
probably helps that you're half the teams kills so they'll listen to you
Jesus Christ this is such a good video
These videos are such a bait for new players
Thank you, I'll be referencing this all season.
Question...When you look at your replays after a loss what are some key plays/moments in the game to review?
made a vid about proper vod reviewing, check the vid here: ruclips.net/video/eGAo2xy8Yh8/видео.htmlsi=Jh2gXoee4pou10ey
@@perryjg Perfect thanks
I'm fine with power farming, but when my Shaco power farms whole game, somehow has 100 less cs and hasn't gotten a single objective or ganked a lane... then we have a problem.
dude what a good video
Obviously, gold wins games, jungle is just another lane.
And good tip about not ganking losing lanes, people who win their lane know what they're doing, they at least read what their abilities do.
Problem in my Games is, that my Toplane is actually 0/4 before I even full cleared. Had this like 6 rounds in a row. I know this is just unlucky but its a bit frustrating
