first rain, it will all come back up! i like when they asphalt an entire road that needed it for years and then 2 months later, they dig it up to replace piping that was scheduled for update pipes the year before.

Top muttering TAYM and well done on getting the potholes fixed. "Connor on an Electric scooter" (as denoted by the green flash on the reg' plate). Age is just a number and as I'm 76 and my mate is 78 we think we are still young and out motto is "do it now". YES get on line and complete the government survey Motorcycles to use BUS LANES. For those that don't know ..... click on the link above. ( Thank you Mr TAYM for that.

Great mutter, someone has been out with the spray paint round my way - looks like the potholes are getting done slowly. Well worth filling out the survey for bus lanes, only get any in Canterbury for me, which are generally empty yet we are not allowed in them. When I worked in London the Met Police did a study during the bus lane trial and confirmed it reduced accidents with 2 wheelers, ironically the biggest group opposing the blanket bus lane change are cyclists.

Was just listening to a compilation of Jam hits from the 70's! They've done an ok job there on the potholes. I give them to mid May to reappear...hopefully I'm wrong.

Also, at 2:29 in Charlie’s picture of his BSA, you can see that the local council have installed a puddle right in front of the bench! Anyone stting there will get wet whenever a car passes. Perhaps you can use your TAYM power to make the council move the puddle.

I'm not saying it was pot holes but sadly a 19 year old man sadly crashed his bike and passed away a couple of days ago not far from me, no other vehicles involved, just too young. I would just say to everyone please be extra careful out there 🙏✌️.

Hi Taym, thanks for another great mutter. Good to see some pot holes being repaired near you and they look to be being repaired properly using a roller and liquid tar banding round the edges. Here in West Hull villages a bloke comes round with a bucket of cold tar, stamps it in the hole with foot and and is gone. Obviously the repair lasts half a day, not long enough to make it to the next school run. The UK roads are a disgrace. I'd move to your patch, but we love our Humber bridge and East Yorks coast too much to leave. Do you miss it ? Do you ever get back up here ? Look forward to the next mutter. Pass on our regards to the Giraffe 🦒

Forgot to tell you TAYM.. The IZH 350 is derived from the German DKW 350, hope you know it .. The brand later after WWII is renamed as MZ. Marvelous, isn't it 😁😁

Really jealous as very few potholes have been fixed here in Kernow (Cornwall) However, the weather is slowly picking up and I'll be out and about on the BSA whenever I can.

You mean they threw a shovel load of hot bitumen in pothole that'll last till it rains & trucks run over them & the patch will crumble.Well that's what they'd do in NZ 🇳🇿 last about 2-3days.
In OZ they use mud...the best mud tho.
Marvelous hope there's a bunch of 80-90year olds still riding around in my area when I'm that age.
