I really like the GI Joe retaliation Firefly figure that they did. I thought the actor's likeness came out great and overall it's just an awesome figure.
I might be in the minority, but a live action GIJOE movie just feels like a generic military action movie without all the crazy outfits and characters. Making it in the real world so far has yet to work out and I don't see how they'll make it work unless they go crazy with it. I want to see Destro with a metal face, and a Cobra Commander in his full outfit with cobra troopers that don't look like generic soldiers. It needs to feel like something that couldn't happen in our world. I felt the same with the Bayverse TF movies, where all the robots were made to look too realistic and it never connected with me. More recent efforts did a better job so I am hopeful they do the same here.
According to WilliePete, Heartwrencher is NOT coming with a vehicle. Also, The 2nd figure packaged with the NF Falcon will not be a joe. Instead, it will be a non night force character making their first appearance in the line.
Remember alot of the marketing and even product for Rise of the Beast was heavily Beast Wars and those characters are only in the movie for like 15 minutes. I'd expect the movie to continue the Noah Diaz storyline starting with the Joe's and bridging the 2 teams with each other against whatever this new Cobra threat is.

I’ve never been a big Transformers fan (though I’ve seen a lot) and I actually dislike it crossing over with GI Joe. So, I’m not excited for this, but I’ll see it (just like I did every TF and Joe film) and was glad to get another monthly on movie speculation.
I would prefer an animated movie and a cartoon series because it would look much better and the fight scenes would look cleaner and less clunky than a live action movie.

I'm with you. I really want to see a serious cartoon series come out. One that will last at least 3 to 5 years.

Justin is right. Hopefully they are paying attention to the Sky Bound comics. That would be phenomenal.

IMO Destro doesnt need an accent. He needs that tough and gravely voice like back in the 80s.

They need to make COBRA look like COBRA in color and look.
So excited with everything thats going on. Its keeping everyone soooo busy.
They should utilize Sgt. Slaughter in the movie. Not a super huge part, but shoe horn him in. Thatd be a huge salute to the Sarge.
If they wont use the correct backstories of the characters, this will not serve G.I. Joe any better in this film.
