For the villains in Batman: The Brave & The Bold, they should do a team like in Batman The Movie 1966, Batman: The Long Halloween Part 2, & The Lego Batman Movie. They can have both the classic villains that we've already saw & new villains that we haven't seen yet in live action.
I was there yesterday at the Creature Commandos panel and enjoyed every second of it. The fact that Rupert Thorne and Clayface showing up says it's going to be good.

I can't wait to see Ben Davis portray the live action version of Rupert Thorne the Mob Boss because you can see it. I can hear little bit of John Vernon in Ben Davis in those few seconds that he spoke in the Creature Commandos trailer.

Easily one of Batman’s most underrated rouges in tv and movies, comics due give him Justice. I would love the rebirth clay face arc in the DCU, perfect way to set that Batman apart from other iterations, ones that’s focused on rehabilitating Gotham
Yeah it's good to know essentially the events that happened in thise two projects are canon. I think the only reason the projects themselves aren't fully canon are the JL scene and that maybe one or two characters could be recast

Creature Commandos - what a font. Superman will have natural, easily identified character in sharp contrast to those around him, as he did with the Authority in the great Philip Kennedy Johnson run. So too, the 'identities' of projects are seemingly diverse in the best possible way. Let's see Mangold on Swamp Thing.

Creature Commandos looks great! Really dont know anything about any of those characters but the trailer was really fun. I cannot wait for Superman though, I am stupidly excited for that movie.
Watched the DCU/Creature Commandos panel. Great to hear from the man himself, James Gunn. Super excited about the updates on the DCU projects coming out.
With Superman coming next summer, they'll need to start promoting it around 6 months before the release date. At least a teaser at CCXP is possible. WB did the same with WW84 back in December/2019 when its release date was still scheduled for june 5, 2020.
Now we have 4 Batman villains for the DCU. Also it would be cool to see Batman in a protective radiation battle suit fighting Doctor Phosphorus in either Brave and the Bold or another DCU movie.

Yeah, no one was expecting to see Clayface lol, but I can definitely see what Gunn meant when we called this show an "aperitif" for the DCU before Superman in July 2025.
I like how everything's connected but you won't have to watch anything that comes before. When it comes to Marvel, I watched an Advengers sequel and was then asked why I didn't watch another project before hand and I said I'm not doing that. I'm just gonna pick a movie and watch it. So I'm glad Gunn is doing the total opposite of that with the DCU.

Man I thought Blue Beetle was a pretty good movie. I actually loved The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker too. I'd like them to be included. But if they can't be I get it.
They more or less are included, since we're getting a Peacemaker Season 2, and a Blue Beetle animated series with Xolo. It's just that certain events/strands of story from those previous iterations may not be canon, such as the Justice League cameo at the end of Peacemaker wont be a thing that 'really happened'. But Peacemaker killing Rick Flag in TSS will be. I'm sure the butterfly invasion from Season 1 can be canonical in the DCU, but you get the idea :)

I WORKED ON THE CW FLASH,SUPERGIRL,AND GREEN ARROW AND THE BIGGEST SUPERHERO MOVIES IVE WORKED ON THUS FAR HAVE BEEN THE 3 DEADPOOL MOVIES.RYAN REYNOLDS WAS A JOY TO WORK AND DESIGN SETS FOR. I ALSO PLAY IN 3 VANCOUVER METAL AND HARDCORE PUNK BANDS AND WRITE AND DRAW COMIC AND PLAY IN BANDS BY NIGHT. MAN JAMES GUNN IS A GOD! I'm so stoked For the new DCU. THANK YOU AGAIN JAMES GUNN!

I am not trying to be a Debbie Downer here and i absolutely am rooting for the DCU with all my heart. But i cannot help to cringe with Gunn using all of these superlatives when asked about literally anything. Let's not forget this is the guy who said something in the vain of that The Flash was one of the best comic book movies he ever saw. I totally understand you have to promote but bro needs to seriously tone it down a notch. Not everything has to be the greatest thing since tapwater.
