Good stuff. Adun is great as is Xira. Big fan of the original legends. I own them all. I enjoy sneaking them into decks as much as i like seeing other people use them. Diamond valley…hell yeah! I own 2. I think i need another. Theyre not cheap.
Hey Timmy, is there any way you could have a lifetracker on the screen somewhere. You're awesome at keeping track, but a visual aid wouldn't hurt and sometimes the dice are hard to see. Still loving the content bro. Keep it up.
Why do you pronounce Xira Arien as "Zeda"? It was just really confusing to me throughout the video, I always thought it was pronounced "Zira". Anyways, sorry if it's a nitpick, was just wondering. Love the content tho, have watched you for years, and I must say I love watching the different types of old school tournaments out there like X-Points, or Stapleless since it's not just watching different variants of 3-S or The Deck over and over. Thank you so much for your contribution to the Old School community, and for showing us these awesome different style of old school and cool cards/combos from the past.
I consider ice age and older old school id like to see s format with a few more sets allowed but the current one is nice its kinda like a pioneer format
@@JK-dd5im Nobody Ritualed out for Necro, or Demonic Conulted for Necro unless late game in 95. Usually the stabilizers (like Nevinyrral’s Disk) or win cons (Drain Life) were what you Consulted for. No point in getting out Necro turn 1 when you only have Swamp in play.
@@Rorschachqp I literally played necro during that period. This is what I did, this is what everybody that played necro in tournaments did. You wanted turn 1 necro to sculpt a perfect curve and threat/answer ratio for the rest of the game. You wanted necro as early as humanly possible, it was not a lategame refill the tank card. The only times you consulted for something else was if you already had a necro or you desperatedly needed something specific.
where's the Cyclonic Rift ?? A newer MTG card that unsummons EVERY card on the table but yours. Where's the +20/+20 Giant Growth spell ?? (yes, MTG actually made that card a few years ago)
It only applies if the same player tries to have two of the same legends under control. These changes were made in 2013, magic.wizards.com/en/news/making-magic/legendary-rule-change-2013-05-23
new MTG is such cheater heads. "remove card from game" spells got turned into "exhiled" stack. Now players have 2 graveyards to pull from. That's not power creep to brag about, that was changing the rules of the game.
@@TimmytheSorcerer You always could in theory, get stuff from exile. Ring Of Ma'ruf for example or the Wishes from Judgement. The "exile on the stack" is more of a instant spells thing where they can be stacked.
new MTG cheats so bad, they made spells & abilities that allow you to grab cards that are not even in your deck. You can scour your entire collection and put cards into play.

Do you really want to relive every game starting with "ritual necro" or "consult for necro" again?

@@JK-dd5im Ok…guess you didn’t win many tournaments like that. Necro turn 1 means you lose like 7+ draw steps and are at the mercy of burn and aggro.

oh there's ways around that. MTG has magical otters that turn artifacts into "food tokens", that can be shared with the bunny rabbits and squirrels.

it's nuts, there's extremely simple infinite mana, creatures, and damage combos with what's called blinking "exiled" cards.

I think planeswalkers are the real cheat,you deal with them immediately or lose.
