Gonna go ahead and like this immediately because Ik it's gonna be dope!!! Trying to get my friend to install an exhaust on his street triple, and he's the one that sent me your vids to watch since I told him I want a trident
Thank you for this video! Im soon purchasing a 2024 RS and couldnt decide on what exhaust I wanted to purchase for it. (I legit normally purchase the exhaust before even bringing the bike home, LOUD PIPES SAVE LIVES + plus who wants to sound like a sowing machine lol) The Zard is by far the best looking because it doesnt leave behind that awkward space that most of the others do. And now after hearing it in your videos, i know the 2022 header and Zard slip on is what im purchasing. Thanks mate!

I’ve got a Sonic Yellow RS on order and arrives in October and have been investigating exhausts, have had my mind on a Black Titanium Zard for a while now but this video has just confirmed I’ll be ordering one before my bike arrives! 👌🏼
I would wait. I am also waiting for my '24 RS to come, i think it depends on where you come from. @@andreashofmeister1590 In like 8 previous videos, I explain that in order to run any exhaust on the 2023/2024 STRS, you need to get a full system. Wether its aftermarket headers, or 2017-2022 headers, any slip-on will work :)
@@rwdconnor yes, I have been following that. But I think the biggest problem will be that it will probably no longer be Euro 5, but only Euro 4. As far as I know, it's no longer legal in Europe/Germany.

Hey! Thanks for the video. Got this pipe as well but the stainless steel version. Getting way too much burble (for me at least) on overrun. Not pops or backfire, just heavy burbles. You getting this as well?
@@rwdconnor Alright, I shouldn't worry then. I just feel sometimes that I (it) is being a bit too obnoxious. 😅 Thanks so much for your reply, it has put my mind at ease. Much appreciated! 😊
I see this video is 7 mos old, but I have a quick question.... I have a 24 street triple, just replaced a Racefit growler X with the same Zard system you have here. I had the same issue with having to remove the rubber bushing lol. I just test rode the bike for 15 minutes and love how it sounds. My question is - did you notice a plastic burning smell, and slight bit of smoke from the exhaust after the bike is off? Thought it may be normal break in, but now I am second guessing, possibly some packing material was in the connecting tube :/ - just curious if you had a similar experience? THX!
Hey congrats on the zard! Yes, the plastic burning weird smell is absolutely normal and mine went away after maybe 100 or so miles. It’s nothing to worry about and completely normal :)
I'm looking to replace my Racefit growler X also, as it's way too loud. How did you find the noise difference between the Racefit growler X and your new Zard?
@@reddpill - the racefit was 140dB - that's just asinine. I've not measured the Zard yet, but my best guess is it's about 110-120 dB, much throatier, deeper growl. It's the sound I was searching for. I also had an SC Project on my 2018 765RS, the Zard is not as loud as that exhaust either.
@reddpill what headers did you use? think i've settled on this zard exhaust, now i need to figure which headers. (annoyed at this full weld, but what are you gonna do?) was considering spark stainless steel or 21/22 oem.
Yeah, I'm not loaded either, I also just buy dumb sh*t like bikes and things for bikes! 😂. Exhaust looks really clean though man, love the lines. I went for the Akrapovic as it ties in good with the colours of the bike and a bit more of a traditional race bike look, but I was really tempted by this Zard especially as you can ditch the pillion pegs or exhaust hanger. Looks good and nice little video!
Buen vídeo. Me encanta el sonido . Donde puedo comprar los colectores originales 2022 para poder añadir esta salida Zard? Yo tengo el modelo Rs 2024. Muchas gracias.
So all that is needed is the header itself, the header heat shield, and gasket/hardware to mount the headers? Or were you able to reuse the gasket/mounting hardware from your 2024? I wanna put this on my moto2!
So, with the zard in particular, the only thing needed is the Headers, and the headsheild on the side (though it's not 100% needed right away). The Zard comes with its own clamp so no need for that. since the bike is so new, I did not use new gaskets on the block to the header.
This RS looks SO good... Also I would love you rationale for choosing the RS over the R, if you tried both. I have the Trident, and Street will definitely be my next, just don't know which one to take (i won't do much track, mostly twisties and commuting)
Hey there! My buddy and I got our hands on the only 2024 Street triple R and RS in our city. I’ve got the R and have put about 3,000 miles on it so far. I’ve ridden both and can say pretty extensively that the difference between the two if you are looking for mainly street riding is very minimal. We rarely notice the 10hp difference, the ride height on the R is slightly more comfortable during our long rides, the suspension difference is noticeable as the RS feels a bit more stiff and tuned but that’s not to say the R does the job fantastically as well. If there were two RS’s for sale then I probably would have purchased an RS solely for the color options and the collector side of me. But I am extremely happy with my R. If price is a big part of your decision then I would go with the R. I was sad the R didn’t have the belly pan or the bar end mirrors but purchasing both and fitting them to my bike has cured that sadness right up. For road use only I’d say both are awesome options but I would lean towards the R if you are on a budget. It has been an incredible bike thus far.
I can completely agree with what @kalemeis594 said. However, for the extra couple of grand, the upgrades are super worth it. The suspension and brakes alone are worth more. Factor in the TFT display and all the other little bits and it kinda makes it a no brainer. However, I can assure you, you'd be just as happy to ride the R.
Do it for the Stylema brakes. You can fit race tires and turn the knob to 19 or leave it on 21 for street tires. That’s what I do. It’s super flexible and fun. I added heated grips, cruise control and TPMS. Love that I can look down and see how much heat I’m putting into the tires by checking the tire pressures.
