@@claytonhess5512 : there had been many versions of this intro... and each time the mechs are different. I can't wait for a version that uses all craps mechs like Locusts or Cicadas.
My understanding (from various YT comments under this, and the English version of this video) are that the maker swapped it for another 80 ton 'mech which fit the weapon loadout better. Truthfully, NO 80 tonner (that I'm aware of) really fits the loadout in the original cutscene, because the original Zeus had a heavy autocannon in the autocannon arm, and a light autocannon in the missile arm. I'm not aware of any 'mechs that are configured that way by default, even if you move up or down the spectrum by 5 or 10 tons. EDIT: I put it together in MechDB (an online 'mechlab website populated from MWO files), and you CAN, in fact, take a Zeus 6S, keep the armor, engine, lasers, and two of the heat sinks, move the AC/5 to the opposite arm, and fit an AC/10 where the AC/5 just was, and have enough room for one ton of ammo for each autocannon. So at least in theory, it was a legal build, even if VERY non-standard for a Zeus.
@@cool_dude_like_really MW5 and MWO are done by the same companie that has quite a little budged and crew. So those models are basicly 1:1 the same to save costs. Personaly I like the MWO/MW5 designs. Sadly they are lacking a bit of design variaty to make it look like mechs are done by different designers (in lore).

If I remember right, the last line was: "look on the bright side kid, you get to keep ALL THE MONEY".
that was indeed the line and you also get the company

Those arent mercs, those are steiners!
Ach, and a failed reconnaissance at that.
Not enough Assault Mechs
😅😂
In Battletech, there is the right way, the wrong way, and the Steiner way, which is the wrong way but with assault mechs.

Ahh, the House Steiner Remake...clearly illustrating why Atlas's should be used on all scouting missions.
Mechwarrior 2 Mercenaries: Lyran Edition!
best mech game ever
The commander's mech was a Zeus not a Victor. But good remake nonetheless.
Its not from Merc 5.
@@atlas5744 What's not from Merc 5?

excellent !😊👍
The subtitles ... on english, are very funny. xD
Pretty cool but its missing the smoke. The smoked was so cool in that original video.
After the legendary MW2 intro, this was quite a letdown. But MW2 intro haven´t been beat sitll imho.

Wrong mech, it was a Zeus vs an atlas.
Блин, надо в пятом сменить английский язык на немецкий =)

Sounds like Steiner propaganda
Steiner pov.

Most people don’t know this. But this was Hitler’s favorite video game when he was young
boooo, rip off
lol...they speak the wrong language. What the F happened to the zeus? where is it?
The animator (mistakenly) probably thought the mech was a Victor in the original cutscene.
