      I think it's too soon to say give the crucible xp gain as this is side/endgame content. We only have the first chapter out of the main world and with 1.0 we will have the means to gain the xp needed as it will be a back and forth thing with the crucible content. but with this said I think the devs NEED to start focusing on world game play now and get 1.0 released before all this side/endgame content as it all connects. so without world content, side content will feel unbalanced or not finished. I think this update was not needed now in early access as it plays off world content that is missing. Thoughts?

      @@shaunridley8428I agree that this should not have been the focus of the developers. Also at minute 2:30 I’m even showing a part of the quest where it is explained that there are more statues to be activated, so this crucible that we have now is intended only for of the early game, so we will have more harder dungeons later in the game, or at least that’s what is implied by having more statues to be activate. I strongly believe they should give players experience when doing this crucible, even if it’s limited experience they should stick to the lore they have created and make this into a training dungeon that rewards players. Or at least they should create a better reward system for the overall dungeon and final boss.

I was so excided to come back to the game after 2 months waiting for an update and now, Ill have to wait again. btw I didn't see a any silver node in last 10hrs of playing, 5x full map run, and nothing. Are they out of the game? Thx for the video, perfect as always.

      @@tomastrnkaYT you can find a silver node in the cave where you find the chemist, at the end of the cave run to the left. You will always find one silver node there per day reset. Or you can create multiple runs and keep going there.

      Maybe they should add the Seneschal NPC after you beat the final boss not in the middle of the Crucible, in the middle they should add the 5 boxes that you get after you beat Echo Knight, this will help players get farming materials and better gear faster, this will give them a chance to grow more and try to beat the final boss. And if they beat the boss then they will have the chance to get to Seneschal and Exalt their weapons. I also think that the Crucible, the Dungeon that we will spend most of our time in the entire game should definitely give us experience to level up.

    i agree 100% with wat u said because u always test and try diff builds. No body want to level slowly in the openworld where there is lil xp gain plus there is not enough of the open world. I also feel they shld work harder on pushing out more lore and open world content. crucible while it being fun it was more of a method of farming xp/items/materials since the first issue of the world being so little in content still exist.

    i started playing this game 2 weeks ago.. and things like have the same ring three times activated, some options in the weapons or clothes are not longer available, also now it is imposible to find so many items like i saw in videos from the release date.. the difference between old players and new players is insane, i think that they will have to restart the game or do something for the pvp because there is so much difference between people starting now and the ones instarted in the release...

    Totally agree with everything you said. Eventually I had to switch to my beefy tank alt to take out the boss, mage main just couldn't hack it after 1 shotting all the trash for a bunch of runs. I've put the game down until they fix it which is really sad because I absolutely LOVED getting lost in this world for almost 100hrs so far. I don't usually care for roguelikes, just not my thing. No rewards for partial or incomplete runs feels really terrible.

      Completely understand why anyone would say this given the current state. Problem is as they seem to make the game less and less fun due to things not put in yet, more and more people will start waiting for 1.0 ..with less and less people testing and providing feedback. They def need to make the game more attractive to players who want to play now. :)

    I agree with everything that has been said so far.
    I've started leveling a second character and it's just unbearable to gain experience with them,
    especially since my main, which I mainly play with, hasn't even reached max level.
    My goal was to create one character for each combat type (melee, ranged, etc.), this plan has now
    come to nothing because it simply takes an infinite amount of time to gain experience.
    Not to mention the constantly recreated realms, because my main world is simply "threatening" in every zone
    for every newly created character.

    The fight with the Echo Knight is longer if you have no luck with the echo buffs, some will melt him, and they fixed the infinite stunlock already, so you wont do that again.

    I've joined this wonderfull game full of potential after the crucible update. The main story was a blast, wonderful mechanics and great dificulty.
    After main story I tanked though - no way to efficiently gain experience anymore. And I don't have all day to play a video game.
    They must really focus on main content, push 2 more acts or so - that should give enough experience to reach lvl 30.
    On top of that - this crucible is a nice sneak peak. I call it a sneak peak because its really what it is. A first version of endgame content

    I definitely agree with you on the lack of exp and loot in the crucible. Even with the latest update from today, you only get very little rewards when you reach the limmus flower guy from the chests in the room and those rewards are a joke. Not to mention, the crucible was updated but no new loot from killing the insanely buffed Echo Knight boss. It is like they are trying to make people not enjoy playing. I love the roguelite elements of the crucible. I really do not like having a bullet sponge EK boss. This is after 150 something hours. I was beating EK all the time, now It is too much of a chore to enjoy.

      No, but they made it harder to unlock. You have to go to the crucible in the middle of the dungeon where there is a new NPC. That NPC will unlock it if you bring him 20 seeds that can be farm throughout the crucible.

    Thanks for video! Bought this game after first anaunsment of early acsess, but droped due very harsh learining curve and unstatisfying gameplay. It seems for me no reasons to return back. For now at least.

    The gloom seed is not getting sum after getting picked.
    My bow build can't get focused sometimes.
    My overall status armour getting bugs,
    Meet NPC in Nameless Path (outside the wall)
    Frame drop in different places, frame drop when scrolling item in box or inventory
    Cash one time after 40 hours
    stats item covering item on the box
    The AOE echo night is so invisible, that you can't dodge

    Absolutely love the game but I am soooooo irritated that they focused on the end game crucible instead of the actual game.. they said that "this is what people were asking for" and I call bs.. I don't know why they would completely re work The crucible instead of releasing more areas more bosses and more of the story which is what I personally wanted

    it seems the elemental damage on weapons is a portion of the damage as elemental. not increased/added damage as elemental. ie 25% lightening damage vs 25% damage increase

    Did a cone-archer run myself without elemental damage, still very easy and was able to beat EK without any issues. Used an old whitebow with basic gems, so you don't even need to enchant it. Just make sure the bow got the lightning arrow-attack vs shield mobs and you will be able to kill all the mobs with ease.
    When it comes to XP and Items in the Crucible ithink the end goal is great, items should be the reward after beating the boss. However since it's in EA and we lack areas and then XP would be most wanted. When it comes to gear you don't have to grind much to get decent gear (and i don't like the design that everything is gained from a single activity) the game does not require you to have the perfect affixes to beat Crucible far from it (I really like the game and got like 15 toons and only one got near perfect gear, most of them got mixed bags). This is also because you can now get them exalted with more damage and so forth. Echoes do also make it way easier, sure you can be unlucky sometimes but once you unlocked the greater ones and with some luck even your meh toon gets op.
    Ithink this is a great foundation, and hopefully we get new legendaries soon to spice up our builds. My favorite is still the proud lance that actually works as intended now :D.

      @@ZZ-cr9pz the bow still works with gems but my goal was to make a build with the new stats they added in the last patch and it seems this stats are bugged. And yes the game is still easy for us who already have max level characters and gear but for new players I’m seeing lots of comments of players who are struggling to level up, find upgrade materials and overall even attempting to beat the crucible. I’m not sure for you but for me when I first started this game I beat it at level 14. From level 14 I only level up in the crucible and just by selling items from the crucible I had enough to keep enchanting gear in a very short amount of time. If I tried to do this in the world of the game I definitely would have had a way more longer and more difficult time, the game is still good but they made it more tedious.

    Do you know the best method for re-rolling stats you want on gears? I’ve noticed that it can take hours just to get the right stat u want on a specific gear.

      It takes me hours as well, sometimes days to make a build with the desire stats and most of that is in farming and enchanting. I also don't know any Re-Rolling method. You have only one chance to get and enchantment on a weapon and its over after. If I don't get the desire stat I usualt sell it.

    Fantastic vid ! Really hope to devs look at it. I don't understand why they seem to keep balancing around things still to come, like ek health and lack of t3 mats for eg. It smacks of arrogance tbh, if they want good word of mouth and people playing ( concurrent player count of sub 1000 would suggest they are not ) to test..they should balance around what is currently in the game and rebalance as more content is released.

    I don't understand why they have removed the loot from the crucible if they want us to spend time there and make it useful, and I have also noticed that some rings no longer work as before. I imagine they will fix it in an update?

      I think the rings change is a very good idea to make you use more different rings then the same good one, there will probably be more rings added in the future that can synergise with each other.
      But the loot and experience in the crucible is simply a bad design. Like you said this is the dungeon we will probably spend most of our time playing this game and if it doesn't offer good rewards it will not make players even want to try this dungeon.

    Hey Larry, great video and I got to say that I agree with all of your points. Specially lack of experience and rewards in crucible.
    I think it's a great idea to have small chests arounds like they used to, to reward players, or finishing a run would give u exalted items.
    As for legendries, I believe u are correct, having a more unique effect , specially if its visual rather than just flat stat will really make them stand out.
    I want to add my 2 cents into this. I played the game since day one of EA, and I have seen many fun and unique builds to be nerfed.
    Let me name them:
    1- Parry build ( literally killing crucible boss with two parries)
    2- Reflect build (Zero damage from attacks but reflect huge chunk of damage as u try to survive)
    3- Bleed Build (equipping a certain Katana and watch the enemy bleed to death)
    4-Sword and shield (doesn't work anymore btw since any boss two hit knocks you)
    Yes, many of these were either bugged or too OP but the nerf hammer removed them out of the picture, Now we are left with just 2 build that works in crucible.
    This game is EA so ofc take what I say with a grain of salt, But I believe all the nerfing and fun being removed out of the game is simply Redditors and Forum people's fault.
    Again, this is my observation and I could be wrong but I think the devs should look at successful examples of good and similar games like Elden ring and Nioh 2 instead of just listening to "fans" who just nerfed the fun out of the game.
    I love this game but seeing how many people were begging crucible's "OP" drops to be nerfed on Forums and Reddit is finally happening really makes me think that devs listen to the loud minority when they should not.

      I completely agree that the developers should stop nerfing things that work, even if they work too good and focus on the things that don't work, for now. They should NOT add more mechanics and fix the ones that don't work like stagger and knockback resistance, or remove them all together and only leave the poise stat.
      They did fix the attack speed, but for example the “focus gain” I’m still not seeing any difference when I got 151% focus gain. There is “focus gain on damage dealt” that works and then we got just overall “focus gain” stat in the character menu, and no matter how much I increase that "focus gain", the focus on damage dealt or focus regeneration is not increased at all, it's a broken stat that they nerf in patch 2 and it's been broken since then.
      The “damage reflect” is also a broken stat, the “deal damage on damage taken” still works and it's only available when you enchant the main armor but the “damage reflect” that is apparently a different stat, is not working at all now. When they nerf the “2- Reflect build” that you were talking about they completely broke this "damage reflect" stat. Also the “deal damage on damage taken” only works if you are being hit directly, if you use a shield and block the “deal damage on damage taken” is not doing anything even if you do get stagger and take damage.
      Overall I’m not saying it’s a bad game, I love the game! I am talking about these topics and pointing them out so they get awareness for the developers to see this and start to focus on fixing the real problems of the base game.

      For the Focus gain, I believe there is a hidden cap. I was also trying to test it but it feels hard capped at a certain point.
      As for the damage reflect, I had no idea it was broken so good observation 👍
      Don't worry I would not think u think its a bad game. I love the game as much as you do. we are just giving our humble opinion that's all haha.

    The insane frame drops are because of the fire damage, i think the effect accumulates and he gets more and more on fire, which is stupid, and they should fix it, once the enemy catches fire he should take dmg overtime for a fixed amojnt of time and then you could reaply the effect after it expires. You didnt get the same effect after because the bow applies the on fire effect a lot faster so it accumulates.

    Perhaps the idea is that xp and loot farming is going to come online with the farming update. And EK is supposed to be a test of power for later on, with some awards attached. Moon may have thought we were all farming already sooner than indended, and fixed it?

      That is a possible theory... but if not and this is intended for an endgame of the early first chapters of the game, not having an efficient way to get experience in a dungeon where you will spend most of your time is simply a bad design.

    Have you tried different gfx settings? Gloam bloom effects seem to be tuned a bit too high, and make their moves hard to telegraph imo. Gfx is also bugged at EK when throwing granades as well. Also, it might just be that gfx drivers are not up to date with what the game tries to execute.

      I'm literally only getting this when using the bow, it's not a graphics problem as for example I went with fire mage build using the Stag Of embers, ice build and a plague build Mage that have way more effects on the screen then the bow and it worked just fine. It's only the bow with the fire element on it, Ive tested the fire bow multiple times and it's only the bow and only at the end boss of the Crucible.

    I don't own this game, but I wish he will become good somehow because I'm mesmerized by the Art Direction, graphics and animations.

    Is it just me or you cant roll "Overall Speed" enchantment anymore on any armor after the patch.

      @@dogtooth7731 not sure, I did enchanted a lot of armour in this new patch and I haven’t gotten the speed anymore. I did see a few new stats like, armour increases at full focus, armour increases at low health and damage increases at full focus. For attack speed you can still find the agility ring that increases attack speed with movement speed and the other ring that I forgot the name but it increases the overall speed.

    I think you also don't get gloamseeds when you kill minions with a bow. The blue orbs do appear but when I pick them up I don't get a gloamseed. It still works with meele weapon. Anyone has the same problem?

      @@Yaredhabolt no, you do get the seeds even with the bow but it’s random drop, sometimes you might go a full crucible and might not get any seeds and sometimes you get to many. The end boss the EK has always gave me at least 2 seeds after I beat him. Now I have never beaten him with the bow as I get the bug and my game freezes, but the rest of the dungeon I did get lots of seeds using the bow.

    The crucible update made the crucible be what the devs intend it to be when the game releases, money and XP is only a problem now because the game is not finished, once all the areas are opened, the level cap is raised, no one will have a problem with money or leveling up, not even killing the Echo Knight. This is EA people, not the finished game, and the new crucible seens to scale a little bit with your level, i went there with my level 21 mage and beat the EK, and no i dont have a ubber build to spam rune attacks and my gear was not exalted, what i did have was prior knowledge of his movesets, so patterns are important here, learn his moves.

      @@mrkemito1726 only the weapon base damage scale with the stats. Maybe in future patches they will change it, but for now just the weapon base damage. You can see in your character stat menu how much it will increase when you add points.

      Overall I’m not saying it’s a bad game, I love the game! but currently I feel its a bit broken. I am pointing these bugs or stat problems from my perspective and because I've encountered them in my gameplay. This is still early access and I know things will definitely change with the feedback on the community.

    One would say that all these bugs and feedback from players can be gathered from game testers that have more experience to detect even the smallest bugs and imagination to give advices to devs.... But it looks like not. Why i get the felling that the devs are advancing with their game on their own without external help? Like if they would watch this videos that woyld be enough the update the next patch..

    I do not like that crucible enemies do not drop loot anymore, also will they please increase the drop rate for boar tusk. This is crazy, it is way easier to get legendary gear than boar tusk.

    @Larry Puss So hmmmmm what would you recommend? wait until they release this for PlayStation? And it’s in a better state? I mean I was considering playing this game but I don’t want to go into this game and get disillusioned after playing it. Worrying about staggering the boss to death is the go to mechanic and everything else will punish me kinda leaves me with a “maybe I should wait” feeling.

      @@Shadowexxc the current content will keep you playing for at least 20-30 hours. Even more if you start to get addicted to the crafting system and the builds. So there is a lot of content even now. What I recommend is you try it out for a few hours, see if you like where it’s going, I recomand you try diferent weapons and their runes before you invest points into stats, for the first 5-6 levels invest them all into health. Play with the recipes of food as well as they will completely change your play. The game is only hard at the beginning after you start to understand the mechanics and certain stats you will not even use potions or food… and if you feel that you are not doing enough damage is because you need to upgrade your weapons, to do that you need to farm for a few materials to first upgrade the blacksmith and the other NPC and then farm for minerals. I wouldn’t spoil you more then this mechanics as you might find better fulfilment discovering the game yourself. The story is actually pretty decent and I love the dark fantasy vibe it gives.

    I did a tank focus based build with the legendary shield. Im literally an inmortal wall that plague throws the one handed axe gaining health and focus with damage. Final boss dies stagered and I have infinite focus, so 0 skill required now 🤣

      Well I can’t be mad about it as this is early access, things changed and will keep changing but because the changes are not in a chronological order, I mean the developers focused on the end game content instead of fixing the main game, the didn’t fix the broken mechanics and bugs, instead they worked on balancing the other stats and broke them even more. I currently have nothing else to do in the game, I’ve really done everything that it has to offer, and mote… I’ll probably just play something else until they actually give us an update with some substantial content then just an overhaul of the end game. But if you are new to this game I really recomand you try it out, even as it is now it will give you around 20 or more hours of incredible content.

    Hi dude, you've gained a subscriber ! I share your opinion most of the time since May about strong builds and i totally agree with you for this patch too. We actually are pretty synchronized since yesterday i wrote a big chunk of text to the devs to explain my criticism ahah. I don't know if you're interested but imma copy/paste it so if you want to read it, its here. Thanks again for those quality videos !
    My review of the patch for the devs :
    - Crucible : As a roguelite fan i really enjoy what was done to the Crucible. It was good before imho but certainly unbalanced for the whole game. There was no reason to farm anywhere else and in 1 or 2 runs your bags were full of stuffs even without killing Echo Knight. Sure it is fun in an EA to gather lots of weapons to try but that wouldn't work in the 1.0 release.
    The Crucible's rythm and length is good, levels are varied and i like the simpleness of it since its a secondary feature in the game. The bestiary is way better than before in it with lot more variety. The fact that enemies can "jump" to other plateforms make the fights more dynamics.. but they also seem more bugged since i've seen a lot of weird pathfindings.
    - The upgrades are not that fun. First, i like the bonus/malus system that make you think about the negatives and try to compensate with others etc.
    But what i find a bit boring is that most of the upgrades are simple buffs like better Stamina regen, more Focus or less Weight. That is obviously the bread and butter but most of the time your character don't need those because those are already on your gear. Like for example a character with a focus build should already have "infinite focus" on his gear alone and will never take upgrades that buffs this, while a lifesteal attacks build doesn't need focus and will also not take this upgrade..
    And when i saw some fun things like the Pest explosion or the Lightning strike ever 3s i was like "damn now thats a roguelite where things can become an absolute mess" and thats actually what a lot of people like in roguelites : when things can be degenerate ahah. And it was actually pretty strong for the 9 rooms while being way more fun. Upgrades should be things that can't be obtained on your gear and makes the Crucible unique.
    So i'd really like if there were way more of those "fun upgrades" that makes you really feel like you're playing a mini-roguelite and not your character with better stats. For now i only saw 3 : Pest Explosion on dealing damage, Ice explosion on damage received, Lightning strike ever Xseconds. And the Ice one being defensive, its not that cool.
    So some more would be fun : a Pest projectile every X attacks (like Echo Knight) for example, killing a Frozen enemy would shatter it and deal damage in a wide area etc.
    In a way i also think that with all those "you deal double damage" or things like that, you expect people to have insane DPS and it probably was the reason you gave EK an insane pool of HP.. which is a bad idea.
    - Because yeah, Echo Knight is just too tanky actually imho and it makes all the "fun upgrades" useless since they don't do anything against him. I play different busted builds like the "Cone shot bow", the "Spam Runic attack 2H weapon" or "Big Armor and Poise + Lifesteal Daggers".. and the fight is so slow. Since i know the patterns its not hard, its just really long, too long to be fun. What i find "funny" is that even if he has insane HP, he actually has 0 posture lel. So in phase one, depending on my build, i just end up spaming my moves on a staggered EK that can't do anything for the whole phase..
    But it still lasts for what is seems is like 2mns only for the first phase, of me spaming L1+Triangle like a madman. I know the point is to make him a challenge even if you have big damage upgrades in your run, but even in a run where i went full glasscanon it was still a long and sadly, boring fight because of the HP pool. The phase 2 is even more annoying since its hitbox is smaller and you miss a lot of openings because of the "wackiness" of the tracking of attacks.. but i'll talk about it at the end.
    - Quick mention but after 3 months i still find the transition of EK to phase 2 so unfair to the point its 100% frustration when this moment happens, and it happens all the time since its a guaranteed transition move. The guy spawn at a weird "random" timing so fast that reactions are almost impossible, there are no visual or sound clue to help you and you end up rolling everywhere to pray that you I-frame it randomly.. I have confidence in my skills and this move i can't stand, i'd say that 70% of the time if i die against EK its because of this move. (30% is me falling while fighting near the pit... lel)
    - Im actually pretty disappointed by the rewards of the whole run. Imho the only true reward is Exalting my stuff which is a farm, not a reward.
    Before this patch, the whole Crucible did gave too much items, that is true, so even if the EK chests were not that good it wasn't a problem. But now since you don't loot anything until the end, i was really expecting to have some big chests at the end with new stuffs, guaranteed purple rings, Exalted items... But what a disapointment it was to see that it was the same as before with half of worthless things like potions and random things. Also why the total lack of XP gains when its litteraly the lore of the place ? In terms of gamedesign this also makes no sense. Now in everyway the new Crucible is 3 times harder but doesn't even give 1/5 of what we got before.
    And while i'm at it, is it normal that every legendary weapon is, sorry my french but.. dogshit ahah ? Im not talking about half the affixes not working on 75% of those, but that they are bad even if they work : weird affixes that are ultra niche and always come with a big downside, no unique movesets.. The only one that was truly good and fun was the Staff and it was one of the reasons playing a Mage was a thing, now its almost unplayable since you nerfed it to the ground like all the things that are strong.. (except Cone Shot lel)
    - The farm needed to get the stuff you want just to be strong is actually insane. Either you are searching for a weapon or trying to make it purple with good effects, its just insane.
    For example, i crafted like 60 daggers without seeing the combo Health on damage dealt + Focus on damage dealt once, which litteraly costed me all my ressources of 70hours played.
    When i got a good one it had the worst downside ever making it unplayable.. So i'm not gonna lie, i was so tired of it that i duplicated Daggers to get those 2 passives i wanted by Enchanting until i got it. And whats insane is that even when cheating it took my like 1 hour (maybe 300 daggers) to finaly find 1 good one. Without the dupe glitch, i would've just stopped by frustration without any reward.
    But the worst thing about this story is that.. it was a crafted weapon i could reattempt. For example im searching for an Ash Bow since the beginning of EA and never find a common one. Yesterday i finally got one in the random shop, i Enchanted it and got a blue one with useless affixes. Glad i duplicated it first, i'd not have waited another 70h to find a single other. If you guys wanna make a genshin-like with so much mindless-RNG farm that require you to play every day to expect looting a single good thing, that'll sadly be without me..
    Some ideas to make it better :
    - Option to give more Silver to the Enchantress to force a Purple enchantment. When you search for a Purple weapon, getting Blue ones is just pure pain.
    - After that choice, an option to pay a lot more Silver and even Gold to get 1 line of your choice, but itd be the lowest roll or a really low one, to push the player to Exalt it. Sometimes you're just searching for 1 specifical line on your gear (like chance of Stamina regen on damage dealt) so it'd really help with that.
    - You could also pay more to add more lines of your choice, but it would cost multiplicatively more money which would not be that worth at the beginning.
    - Option at the Enchantress or in the mid Crucible shop to reroll 1 line of your choice in exchange of money or the Crucible ressource (if thats the case, don't make it too costly because frustration will just go somewhere else).
    - The most important :
    The gameplay is nowhere near "accurate". I don't have a better word and i think it fits. What i mean is that the attacks and runic attacks have the worst tracking i've ever seen in a game, and with the forward momentum of almost all attacks it makes for a really messy gameplay experience. Examples since it'd be easier to explain :
    + i double dodge roll the EK charge attack, he is locked and i wait for my character to turn himself 180 after my rolls to Cone Shot him.. but my character don't turn completely and i end up shooting in a random location, losing lock on EK and my focus, being in a shitty position etc.
    + i'm fighting an enemy near a pit and the forward momentum of my dagger attacks is so pronounced that my character litteraly is rotating around the enemy, missing half of his attacks and being insanely hard to control properly, ending up with a death because i fall in a pit.
    + 90% of the Runic attacks i've tried in this game are so inaccurate and have insane forward momentums. You can be locked on an enemy right in front of you and still miss by like 3 meters of distance..
    + you want to lock on the nearest enemy but it locks a far away foe that you didn't even see on screen, so your character attacks towards him and with the forward momentum you just fall in a pit in a second.
    All of that makes for a really frustrating experience sometimes and an even worth when you end up dying because of those, which happens to me way too often and is probably the main reason i die.

      @@Wisarg I’ve red it all and I agree with you on all points. This really reminds me about the second phase of the EK, they should really add some shadow that gets from one point to a bigger circle as he falls down or some kind of indicator when he is jumping and falling, I usually wait 2 seconds and then I spam the roll like a retard trying to avoid the blast… and it’s 50/50 chance it will still hit me, you can avoid this by investing into health and armor but because of this mechanic all of my builds are first focus on building health and armour and then damage. The rest I really hope they will implement some ways to increase chances or completely give you options to get certain stats or unique grade gear because the randomness is crazy, I’ve done a lot of builds but to make a build takes me days to test and farm to get the materials and the desired stats. With this new patch I can’t even effectively farm money anymore because I’m barely getting anything from doing the crucible. So overall I agree with all of your points and I think there are a lot more to say but we both summarise the main problems.

      Hope the devs can focus on important things at first, which imho are :
      - correct bugs to make all the passive effects work (and delete some that are redundant). It'll maybe make legendaries better at the same time;
      - make the accuracy of fighting better, plateforming too;
      - take some steps back to make the Crucible a bit more interesting for newer players and veterans like us, without needing to farm everyday the Primes that are clearly not equal in terms of fun.
      Anyway i like this game and i really want it to succeed, so fingers crossed ahah :)

      Im not a gamedesigner obviously but im sure there are a lot of cool things they can add to make the farm less tedious, but also way funnier than praying the Cerim Gods to have the right item in the daily missions with only one chance of getting a good enchant lel.
      The numbers of weapons, gear and passive effects is already really high and with the incoming chapters it'll be even higher, which should be an upside to have such variety. It shouldn't become a downside because of the impossibility to simply play what you want since everything is random..
      So yeah, i hope they'll find something ! But imho its not the priority in the EA and if they can first improve the gameplay when fighting enemies, i'd be happier since it really impact the gamefeel :)

      @@Wisarg Exalting was a step in the right direction, removing the % rng. I wonder if there's a crafting system not yet implemented as spamming store buys seems extremely simplistic to me. Hence the backlash over removed loot in crucible..since gold = crafting ?

    Developers mystify me, surely they test their own games and can tell what's fun what's working what's not working before they do patch updates?
    I mean surely somebody sitting in the office playing the game and saying oh this is really cool and oh s*** this sucks we need to fix this before we issue patches.

    It’s not bad but not good. For how long it took kinda disappointed. The fun of the crucible was getting the gear enchanting it and welling it to improve your characters. Even made it alt friendly cause you would run crucible to get gear for your other characters. Still early access so I think they will figure it out.

    I think they’re trying to appease the people who complain that there isn’t enough content and get their steam review score up. Don’t think it’s going to work, unfortunately. They’ll just watch their favorite RUclipsr blast through it in a day or two and then go leave a negative review anyway.

    No staggering with coneshot for me at the boss or any other place. And while I agree with the fact that the item drop removal sucks, the final boss is easier with Echoes and your stagger knives build - and I don’t have your gear. Not only this, but I managed to beat the final boss with my mage, which I couldn’t do before the patch. So, what gives? I don’t agree with most of what you say about crucible being harder.

    i dumped more than 30 hours after the last patch i think and i think u are wrong the performance part cant disagree with u it needs a fix and i think they did in a hotfix afterwards now for the design part the game is just not complete and it cant all make sense nor be coherent if its unfinished its a great foundation so well just have to wait

    Unfortunately I came to this game after the patch. The crucible sounded really good before as a place to get rare gear and items. I have made it to floor 3 and really didn't see the point. Puts me off the game a bit. Apart from the crucible I really like the game.

    Going the damage sponge route is super lazy and it shows. This game is barely out of Beta and theyre already relying on damage sponge mechanics for difficulty, feelsbadman.

    Ive bought this game like 2 days ago after waiting for so long and it was one of the biggest game disapointments of my life. I couldnt play more than a few hours, it was so boring after like 1-2 hours and when i arrived in the city it just got worse with the minutes of walking around in the city. And then the quests sent me back to the same areas ive already explored just to realise there are no other areas in the game than the small tiny starting area. Things like that should be illegal to sell. ive bought games for 25€ that are like 100 times bigger and had more content. i litterally walked in the same areas without fighting, for the most of the time. and to make the boring and easy combat difficult, they just throw 2-3 enemies at the same time at you, which only lead to boring kiting. and the combat was off, many attacks hit, when they shouldnt hit. especially the frontal thrust attacks hit like 2-5 meters infront of the weapon. And leveling is just extremely slow and the enemies are just sponges. i wish i could refund this, but i cant. pure disapointment and cant recommend this to anyone. This game needs many many many areas, a whole huge world map to explore like in other games. Thats what ive expected and was excited for, just to realise the demo gameplay at the beach was actually the whole game. insanity and audacity.

      "demo gameplay at the beach"?? I think you've installed the wrong version.
      The game has many more areas after the beach and adds a lot more mechanics. It also has the endgame unlocked, the Crucible Dungeon that is similar to the Hades game, a roguelike dungeon that gives you booms to customize your character, it has lots of replayability.
      The game had a demo before and you probably installed that by mistake. I recommend you uninstall it and try to instal the curect one. The current game has a lot more areas and it's in early access, the roadmap shows they will release more content after they fix the bugs and improve the base game.

      @@LarryPuss ok it has the beach, swamp, the city and then another area which i didnt see, because it was already too boring to keep playing. the swamp and the beach are so small i can only count them as one. and the city is just annoying big, which wastes so much time just to do stuff there. the dungeons are ok, but i didnt buy this game for doing dungeons loops, i bought it to explore landfields and fight monsters there and find hidden loot and then when im done with the game and im high level with decent gear, then i can do dungeons if its still fun. But there are no landfields other than these small areas and there are very few monsters and the loot is not exciting. and i cant do the weekly quests because its just impossible for my level 7. which is retarded, everything feels so off in thise game. especially as a beginner. slow progress and big progress walls. but the most annoying part was the walking simulator without fighting enemies. like i have better things to do.

    I like the new content but have had problems with some of the Graphics from certain echoes.
    The Echo knight is a tank now but I’ve been running
    The crucible in 5 to 10 minutes with no problems
    Using lightning damage and good Runes
    The only thing I have mixed feelings about is the fact that we can’t Stack rings anymore
    Pro tip just don’t take them off If you already have them on Apparently mine still work Because they were previously Equipped before patch three

    Exalted items are the death of This game..i Need only 4 hours for exalt 10 items,and now what i have to do If i play a game for a Better Gear and my now Is perfect?

      Not necessarily. You and I already have good gear and max current level in the game. It's easy for us to change our gear and keep farming to get all exalted, but for new players this is a big problem> I have a lot of new comments on all of my No Rest for the Wicked Videos of new players talking how hard it is to level up past lvl 15 and get good gear after this New Crucible Patch. They struggle to get past even a few chambers of the Crucible Dungeon.
      Getting one Exalted weapon for a new player is tedious and very time consuming. Now, I for one think just like you, in a way, I think the exalted mechanic should not be so easy to get, but I do hope they will reward players for attempting the Crucible, the current crucible rewards are not good. Maybe they should add the Seneschal NPC after you beat the final boss not in the middle of the Crucible, in the middle they should add the 5 boxes that you get after you beat Echo Knight, this will help players get farming materials and better gear faster and will give them a chance to grow and try to beat the final boss, and if they beat the boss then they will have the chance to get to Seneschal and Exalt their gear. I also think that the Crucible, the Dungeon that we will spend most of our time in the entire game should definitely give experience.

      @@LarryPuss a casual player will always say that the game is difficult, that he can't find materials or that he wants to be able to choose where to teleport on the map (when it takes you just under 3 minutes to go around the entire map from start to finish). I'm sorry but the game at present it's very simple if you know what to do, how to build a character, what are the best weapons and runes and on RUclips you can find everything. my current record in the new crucible is 5.30min, I see streamers who only take the same time to defeat the eco knight...

    I never played the original crucible but I can say this one got really boring really fast. Aside from wanting to say I finished it, there wasn't a reason for me to grind as if I can't beat the Echo Knight, I get nothing. Even after they added chests to the senchal room, it still isn't enough. I love the echo perks and they are fun to play with, but that isn't enough to make it grind it. Not to mention in order to even have a fighting chance in there I needed to grind the bounties a ton, literally just doing that for two days or around 10 hours, to have a high enough level and good enough loot to attempt the run.

      @@DrN0VA. they might have changed this crucible with the idea that the story will give you enough experience and loot to get to the crucible, the problem is that instead of them focusing on giving us more story or any progression content they gave us the end content that many can’t even access because of the lack of content… the game is really good but it doesn’t feel like they have progress at all since it’s opening in the early access, and this is because of the developers are not focusing on fixing the curent problems and bugs but they focus more on the balance and end game. I have no doubt this will turn out to be a great game when “it’s fully finished”, but I think that if the developers are focusing on the wrong things during this early access they will lose a lot of players, players that might not come back after it’s full release. This is just my opinion, I think they should focus on the Chronological content instead of the end content.

    4:08 well, not really with 76h into the game i have beaten the new crucible as lvl 18 mage on my second character with some random armor and cheapest two handed staff that i upgraded to 18 dmg? had no points in hp only int and focus. before the update i have struggled with the crucible and couldnt beat the boss at max lvl with 2 handed sword while trying the best armor i had. i thought it was actually easier now but maybe the mage is just easier bcs its range, doing like 90 dmg when using fireball spell ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    crucible is not the issue this game is not complete... zero story only 2 zones. and when you finish the crucible you become a monster in the normal zones. you crush all enemies.
    the studio reallyu need to complete the campaign and open all the island.
    BUT they are SOOOOO slow to add real stuff in game.

      @@Uranhön they are slow but they are working and they are keeping us in the loop with the updates on discord. It’s a small company and they are not rushing the game. Now that aside, I personally think they should focus on getting the base game mechanics instead of doing balance and changing the end content. We already had an end content, the new crucible is better now but it’s not something it needed to be worked immediately, they could have focus in the main game and later change it. Because of this they are now losing interest and momentum for the game. POE2 will come out in 2 days, that will keep us going for now.

    bro your videos are like asmr you have such a soft voice ! Concerning the game, I'm a big fan too (250hour atm) and yes. All players with a good load of time on the game will adress the sames concern. I would add that, for me the game is much more about the universe & lore than it's about a "minigame roguelite dj" and so we need more content. Like the breach. new bosses. new ennemies. So I'd wait for the next update.

    You guys are concentrating on gear in an unfinished game, have you seen those stones? We get chipped stones to put on gear, so everything you are hoarding now will be obsolete when the game launches, maybe the exlated yellows will be usable, rest is crap.
