Also two personal favourite things from Sunny Side are Tina's 'eh-eh-eh' shoulder dance, which always makes me laugh, and Tina's voice when she sings the line 'be my summer boyfriend', which almost makes me cry. I think the whole song might be one of my favourite musical sequences in any film, ever. It sums up the tone of the show and the characters themselves so perfectly and it makes my heart feel like it's going to burst from the sheer happy-sadness of the melody and the joyous characters. And Tina in particular....Tina is caught so perfectly on the very edge of adulthood, you can feel how huge her feelings are, and it takes me back to that same age, when I felt the same, every emotion I had was so fierce and intense and how everything seemed so mysterious and overwhelming and the world seemed full of possibilities that I'd never fully be able to understand. And I suppose that there's something both happy and sad about that for Tina, because she will be caught on that edge forever, she'll never age, but she'll never get to have a real relationship, her whole life in the show will be pure potential, constantly running on the spot as a 13 yr old girl with the whole world ahead of her but always out of reach. This animation is fucking beautiful. I love how incredibly simple the art style is, but they put so much effort and go so smooth with the animation. And the lighting and choreography is fantastic.
I really like how this movie shows Louise's odd but charming relationship to Mr. Fischoder. Louise doesn't even consider fischoder being the murderer to actually be possible, and i think the moment grover points the crossbow at Louise is the only time calvin fischoder has actually looked legitimately scared. Also Mr. Fischoder totally risks his life to save the belchers. If his main concern had been his own life he could have taken advantage of the secret door himself as he was the closest one to it and grover gave him a couple Opportunities to escape but he didn't do that. He saved the secret passage until it gave the children a chance to escape, which really shows that as morally dubious as he has been shown to be he is not evil.
Honestly Mr. Fishoder isn't even a true villain, which I find sweet. He employed all these hardened criminals - even if they complain - and gave them a place they could stay for free even if the dog factory is abandoned it is still his property. He keeps giving Bob passes despite not paying his rent on time like - ever. It is also pretty sweet to note that despite his brothers antics, the 'condo' idea he had would have actually been very profitable but unaffordable to the average man (including people like bob) which is why I believe Fishoder tossed that idea out. The 'mega' carnival his cousin had too would be a huge tourist boom and very profitable but it would mean bulldozering and evicting most of his tenants again something he ignored. Sure he raised the rent that one time but honestly it just seemed like a scheme to get people to play water balloons in his manor. He also freaked out when a prank went south (or so he thought) and he was terrified that Bob would die or injure himself. And, also, his brother.. who is a full blown lunatic he still cares about. I assume thats why their dad left the money to Fishoder because he knew he'd take care of his little brother long after they died. Hell, he gave them a place to stay - invited him to gatherings - still plays with him - and was willing to flee the country with his younger brother. God I love Bobs burgers. I remember a friend who did animation before computers told me how they kept feet and legs off the screen because the movement was hard to animate properly. Now I see this with like 20 characters shown dancing full body, legs and all. That would have taken forever by hand and wouldn't have looked right unless done perfectly. I always hated the transition from cell animation to computers. But this video really makes me appreciate how much easier computer animation makes it. If it's used properly. Like any CG, really.

Forget about the choreography, the song itself fits perfectly with how each person's voice sounds. Caught myself bobbing just listening to it, the rhythm and cadence is perfectly timed

The choreography of this song is so absolutely perfect. Having everyone do these fun dance moves with straight faces is a stroke of genius.
1:51 is it me or does she look so cute running with the ears? Like a determined bunny
Extremely cute❤ also imma bunny like you 😊
Yes, this whole thing is great for a multitude of reasons, yet whenever I see Mickey imitating how cops dance, I bust out laughing 😂
How many cops has he seen dance?
@@uvealpear7749 enough 😂
I love how hard they went on animation and music in this movie there's so much to watch in the like dance sequences
"Shall we get...going?"
_"Some Lucky Ducks-"_
*"nope!"*
"We're severely underpaid and have reason to believe our boss might've murdered one of our friends"
"I got name called at school"
"Dang"
*Flailing commences*
the end when Mickey did the cop dance had me sobbing. my uncle is a cop and cannot dance at all and my dad and i could not get it together in the theather.
Me just noticing the guy in the trailer at 0:48 shaking his ass 🤣 This movie is a gem!
Whoever's playing bass on this song is killing it!
I'm also starting to notice the sort of "dixiland jazz" style to this show's music. Obviously it's not a direct 1 to 1, but it's there.
Their "roller coaster" metaphor. That's a thinker, but not like it's complicated, like I keep finding myself thinking about it.
Stumbling on this and Sunny Side Up Summer made me realize Bob's Burgers has almost effortless charm in truckloads. I went and bought season 1 and I am in love. The show is pretty funny but effortlessly charming at almost all moments which leaves me totally into it.
The best scene ever:
Mickey- "See, their not cops. Cops dance like this, eeeerrreeerrrrr."
All the songs in this went hard, left no crumbs and left me wanting more
this is probably one of my fav songs from this movie. The animation and dancing is amazing i love it. The personality of the characters in the movie really shined a lot. I saw the movie in theater and I adore it so much. I don't care what the box office thought I loved it.
Wish they had Sergent Bosco dancing in the end like mickey said cops dance like
This was the best song in the movie, and the whole thing deserved way more love
The face and the noise Mickey did at the end of the video was so funny!😂
I remember a friend who did animation before computers told me how they kept feet and legs off the screen because the movement was hard to animate properly. Now I see this with like 20 characters shown dancing full body, legs and all.
That would have taken forever by hand and wouldn't have looked right unless done perfectly. I always hated the transition from cell animation to computers. But this video really makes me appreciate how much easier computer animation makes it. If it's used properly. Like any CG, really.
I just love singing to this song whenever I watch the movie. Bob's Burgers The Movie is the greatest film ever made and I love everything about it because it's true to who it is. That's why I love it. The songs are pure poetry to me and there isn't a single dull moment. God Bless this movie!
Great animation and songwriting!
"Working here can really be a roller coaster, one day you're cleaning vomit next year on a missing poster!" I love that bit
1:27 “the one who did it” is absolutely perfect
That's Mabel from Gravity Falls and Disney helped along with this
@@CrazyManhog i know mabel and louise are the same voice acters
I feel like she’s pitch corrected on the high notes
That one carnie twerking at 0:49 🤣
Not me searching the entire scene multiple times for someone dancing like a cop. "No sir"
There are no dancing cops.
my mans is feeling himself at 0:50
The dancing in this segment just pops into my brain sometimes, even years later… I call it the “you’re pumping air into a bike tire, but then someone hops on the bike and rides off while you’re doing so” dance.
1:00 Louise served
I am utterly terrified of the guy shaking his gyatt in the caravan at 0:49
This is the number that made me experience one of those moments that every good musical should have where you step back in awe and just say “holy shit, this is awesome”
This animated songy dance deserve more credit
In my opinion the whole movie deserves more credit. I watched it with my brother and we both loved it (even if at some points it was a little childish)
I can’t get this out of my head, I believe this is the best bobs burgers song, is it just me or I’m trippin 😂
1:23 😂 the dancing always kills me
I wanna see this choreography on stage tbh, I love the dance sequences in this movie.
Me too, I definitely see this is as a live action musical
@@robertredick956 As someone who's wanted a Bob's Burgers stage musical, this movie could translate well, just needs more songs
The bari sax (or maybe tenor) in this tune is so much fun to hear.
“One day you’re cleaning vomit next you’re on a missing poster” is such a great line
I love how they all gasp at Louise telling them she got called a baby. Like I get it's a joke. But it makes these ex criminals seem really sensitive and nice to kids.
Who knew Louise was just a great tap dancer? I re-watched this movie last night and I love all the choreography. It is so great. This movie is just the best of the show and mote.
Does no one see the guy with the broken arm shaking his ass in the back at 0:49? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I always find it funny when she says to them try being nine. When they have all been nine. But they understand what it's like to be nine, so are supportive.
Forget about the choreography, the song itself fits perfectly with how each person's voice sounds. Caught myself bobbing just listening to it, the rhythm and cadence is perfectly timed
I love the detail that the animators put into this show/movie. I just rewatched the Dawn of the Peck last night and the carnies on the orange trailer with the purple door where the ones who accepted the shipment of deranged poultry. I love seeing them reuse these very minor characters the way they do.
This better be Oscar or Grammy nominated, it would be amazing.
First few lines by the short guy hit hard.
0:11 "We paid for our crimes"
Mickey: "Well, most of us"
And this is why Mickey is my favorite character XD
1:51 Kristen absilutly kills it!!🥰🥰😍☺❤
I can honestly say it’s a lot of fun to dance like this.
I like the hidden joke that the guy's holding a duck with 17 on the base, which is often considered as an unlucky number
1:50 How fast she books it. 🤣
Micky’s demonstration as to how cops dance kills me everytime
It was such a missed opportunity to have Sgt Bosco dancing in the credits like how Mickey showed.
"See they're not cops cops dance like this!" *funny cop sounds and dabcing*
What I love about this is that they’re dancing like real people
I love how the singer at 0:40 is clearly Bob xD
The guy at 0:32 is clearly Teddy!
This movie was great. If it came out in 2019 itd have done even better. Hopefully this makes animated features more common. First movie I've been to since covid to support the creators.
