I had never heard of these guys either before seeing them live at Knotfest Australia and was very pleasantly surprised. Glad you've checked them out. Definitely a cool video format I'd love to see more, I've discovered SOOO many fantastic smaller artists because of yours and more reactions.
Your fans never recommended Speed because most of them aren't into Hardcore, they're more into the Metalcore/Post Hardcore scene... glad you're getting into Speed but it's really not a surprise.
The fact Speed started right at the beginning of Covid and has only played a handful of tours since Covid (the knocked loose tour being one of them) is monumental. Celebrities like Travis barker, post Malone and shaq have taken notice already. It’s amazing to see as an Aussie

One Step Closer released one of the best albums this year. You have to check em out. Melodic Hardcore with some pop punk thrown in. It's so damn good

If you want a good hardcore record to check out, give the new Candy album a spin. Personally it's my favorite hardcore release this year, and is basically how I imagine what the new Code Orange record could have been if they stuck with the hardcore sound while still experimenting with the industrial sound. It's super good.
Check out Zulu! If you liked speed then you‘re really gonna like Zulu too. Plus it‘s really cool to see a full afro-american band talk about black pride in hardcore songs.

Regulate, Pain of Truth, END IT, Jivebomb, Gel, Zulu, and Standstill have been standouts lately! If you haven't hears them they go hard as hell
The singer is a flute teacher so the flute was coming in a song at some point!
I love that you checked out speed. KL's tour also introduced me to Speed and I'm so glad they brought them along. If you want an absolutely legendary set to watch check out hate5six recording of them April 8 2023. Their performance of "big bite" with Sammy from Drain absolutely goes off.

My favorite discovery this year is a band called "Extortionist", their album this year absolutely floored me!
Never heard of Speed before but this video definitely put them on my radar!

A friend introduced me to them at a charity show in Sydney last year and they went so fucking hard. Not only that but they are so kind and have so much passion for life. They deserve all the success coming their way

The Marcus Vick feature was PERFECT but honestly the song featuring Zombieshark hit an incredibly sweet spot for me.

RUclips algorithm clocked me ages ago, they’re from where I’m from, but they’re pretty fucking legit. They experiment but they don’t fuck around.
They’re going to blow up, there’s something about them that makes them stand out.

saw them last week at resurrection fest, easily one of the wildest gigs of the whole festival. Amazing band
The lead vocalist Jem used to play guitar in a band called Endless Heights that got pretty big in Australia. Started off as a softer hardcore sound than Speed and ended up going kinda shoegazey indie rock. Very different but equally as sick
Australian Hardcore at its finest.
I really recommend you to check out a band called Severals. They're a smaller Czech band, but definitely worth checking out. They have overall a really unique style and their vocalist is an absolute beast.
