I have had one of these for almost 20 years, fantastic and versatile. Made in England, basically a JCM 800 in a small box. Benefits hugely from a speaker upgrade, mine has a Celestion Gt10 Vintage and it kills clean and dirty and sounds fantastic with pedals. Would never get rid of it. A real gem!
I have 2 laney lc15 r amps. The earliest one had an HH speaker and I swapped that out for a 10inch Greenback and the amp us brilliant. I also picked up a newer version of the amp too which has a celestion speaker stock snd is also great.. i played this in a theatre and micd and is loud enough to get over a drummer. I use the amp just before breakup and for distortion i use an sd1... these are great smps and loud as fxxck

I never played on a Laney amp (I'm a kinda Marshall guy) but this sounds great Steve!

Yeh they're super amps man. They go for next to nothing used. So worth checking out 😉
