- In the game, the player takes the role of a Chicago paramedic and ambulance driver, trying to save several people and taking them to the nearby hospital.
There are two modes of gameplay: automatic transmission and manual transmission. The first victim is a ten-year-old child named Jack.
His family's station wagon was in a collision with a tanker truck. The second victim is a 35-year-old Chicago Police officer named Edward, who has been shot by a gang (who somewhat resemble Yakuza), with a rocket launcher.
The third victim is a 23-year-old woman named Kate. The hotel she and her partner were staying at has caught fire, and she is pregnant. The final mission is to rescue Gregorio Tavaresky, the 48-year-old President of an unspecified country, whose airliner has crashed into Lake Michigan after being struck by lightning.

Kids these days will NEVER know how hard this game was
I used to walk to my local bowling alley every day and spend at least 3 bucks a session. I made it to the last case several times, but unfortunately, I never finished the game. Hopefully, one day, I can give it another try. This is one of my favorite games, and it's a shame it's so unappreciated.
Objective: Do not let the patient to be Wasted
I would if I could mate
Emergency Call Ambulance is a 1999 arcade game released by Sega. It is a single-player driving game, controlled via a steering wheel, gearshift, and gas and brake pedals.
it's the fourth instalment of its 'Real Life Career Series'.
I LOOOOVED this game as a kid. I LOVE the medical field, so I was always obsessed with the Electrocardiograph displayed on the screen, and would always talk about intubation, and defibrillation when I was playing this game. You are talking about a GOOD GAME!!!! Too bad they didn't give us an O2 sat in ths game.NOTHING like a pulse ox readout, with the red signal strength bars oscillating, and the beep that changed pitch with decreasing pitch as the O2 sat dropped. OH!! I could drone on, and on, about this AWESOME game!!!! A MISS that game!
I find the different medical conditions the patient can experience fascinating. I was especially intrigued as a kid. I noticed the medical conditions get worse as their health runs out. For example, when their health is higher and you crash, they might experience dyspena or minor bleeding, but if you crash later, they can go into shock, ventricular fibrillation, and respiratory arrest. The developers cut out some medical conditions because if you go to the sound test screen, you can hear the paramedic say "vomiting,""urinary incontinence,""cardiac arrest," and "Sudden change in condition." I really want to make a remastered version of this game with more cases and more nuance in general. It's been my favorite arcade game since age 11.
"The president of a certain country."
You've got Nelson Mandela, with a Russian name, flying on Air Force One which has a British insignia! 🤣🤣
This was a game that made me really feel bad for losing!
7:02 is that a goomba
wow very nice cool game
I remember playing this game at the Time-Out arcade that used to be at the Greece Ridge Mall before it closed in 2007...it was a few times. I sucked at this game and kept killing Jack in the first scenario. 😞 Long story short, I stunk at this game.
Daytona USA meets General Hospital with this game. I only made it past the first stage.

I really used to play this alot as a kid when we used to have this game on the arcade located near supermarket on there and unfortunately, i'd ended up killing jack the boy one because i was reckless driver 🤣🤣🤣
