Craig Arnold--Class act, suave, understated, superb--gentlemen--great musician---subtle and sure in his conducting--
A Teacher among teachers, a leader among leaders---
When he was in Columbus, Ohio at Capital University the Choir was beyond the expectation of the Conservatory Community. That same choir sound since his time has not been surpassed--in repertoire and depth and finesse and true musicianship since his time.
Luther College was lucky to have him. Any and every institution has been lucky to have Craig Arnold on staff. Western Michigan, Luther, Capital --anyone---

What an amazing choir. As much as I was blown away by the soloist, I'm still baffled by the blend of the choir!

Lovely! I'm singing this with a wee choir this summer - hope my solo sounds as good as this lady.

@56geheim I don't believe it is a "Christian" song, However it is definitely a spiritual song. The major work that it comes from the composer's website it states:
Dedication: A sacred Holocaust memorial oratorio, to be rooted in themes and subjects of mutual interest to the Jewish and Christian faith communities.

No offence meant to the current director of the Nordic Choir, but Dr. Arnold created an incredible solid, rich, subtle, nimble, powerful and amazingly precise sound. I am blown away by this.

Shawn Hampton This is one of my favorites too. The soprano soloist colors her whole section and just nails the solo.

maestroz25 Indeed! She was sublime. The entire performance was remarkable & breathtaken, and presented with a confident yet humble attitude. I would love to hear this choir sing Randall Thompson's Alleluia.
