I've purchased one of the hubs with the "old skool" shifter plates, and what can i say...I am utterly impressed! Everything is so well engineered and sophisticated. The double magnet shifters work perfect, the tactile feedback is better than anything I had before. I used the hub to modify a 260mm Momo Mod.26 and make it look like a early 90's Ferrari steering wheel. I just did some laps in RRRE with the FR90 V12 in Imola, and it's a absolutly dream come true. The hub in combination with Peters Thrustmaster Quickrelease and the double magnetic shifter adds so much to the immersion. The wheel is connected with an arduino circuit board to my Thrustmaster T300, and thanks to the manual Peter has written, building the steering wheel with the PS2 connector and the arduino inside the hub was no problem. Peter, thanks for your work and time you spend in this project. The Momo is better than expected! Thank you!
Epic man, great video and great wheels... i know ive had the insider preview but its good to see it all together for the first time... Good driving on the green hell also ;)
awesome work ! question i have is how much suffer the FF on the ts-pc when add so much additional weight to it like bigger wheel, qr-system button box display
Spechless. Can't wait to get this hub with the "old skool" shifter for my Momo. Awesome! Your google link shows only the order for quick release? How can i get the hub or the files?
Sorry, its a bit rubbish temporary solution with this form, I'm still working on a website, the hub is listed underneath, just scroll down. PS this is not the design for momo wheel you have, there's going to be a separate version for it:)
Very interesting, especially the magnetic change ... I would be interested in the second wheel, I think it is 300mm, but I never saw a sparco of 300mm type D, is it a cheap replica or something similar, any link to buy it? I don't see manual price? thanks.
I'm afraid this one is paid, it took a lot of time, prototyping, investment in various components etc, also all the money I get from sales go to new projects :) Use the form linked in the description for more details (the hub is on bottom)
@@petermakesthings7342 yeah in progress making that diy, so i saw this great design i love that design...but i can't afford it T.T maybe later i can buy that module
I opened a facebook page, comments, suggestion etc are all welcome! facebook.com/Peter-Makes-Things-106516390948539/
