      At least all of our players born overseas learnt how to play cricket and grew up in Australia from a very young age. Plus they all sound Aussie too and we didn’t have to change any rules to get them into the team

      faizant15 England’s problem has been concentrating on the shorter formats of the game to gain overdue success in those, but they’ve forgotten how to bat in test match conditions tbh it’s been going that way for a couple of years, coinciding with the one day team side suddenly becoming world class, England have slowly been going downhill in tests.

      @@zacparker7637 loads of opportunities were missed, laubuchange was dropped 3 times, Australia played and missed more times than i have ever seen in an innings but England snicked it straight to a good catcher nearly every time, i think a stat came up that Warner played and missed about 30% of his balls faced, i couldnt believe what i was seeing in those first innings. Regarding the last decision Aus shouldnt have desperation wasted their reviews and if they hadnt Ben Stokes said he would have reviewed because he thought he snicked it, no review no snickometer.
      And we didnt have Anderson you didnt have Smith and boths replacements have been the best at their jobs, will be interesting when both teams have both.

You cant compair them really, Anderson is a brilliant swing bowler in favourable conditions and running in from the James Anderson end of his home ground, trying to add to his already world record hall for a fast bowler. Smith is a good batsman but the rest of the team need to perform with the bat and against a much improved attack with Anderson in.

    What a spell by stokes! 15 overs continuously for his team, putting all his efforts and heart in bowling. Had much less luck than the aussie bowlers otherwise he created atleast 3 to 4 wicket chances!
