In terms of swing he is the best bowler Black caps ever had
Trent is a definitely not a complete bowler. He is not so effective in the death overs and doesn't have a lot of variations to survive in shorter formats of games like t20s but he is undoubtedly the best new ball bowler and can collapse the top order of any great team. His main strength is taking wickets of openers and top order batsmen with the new ball.

Any balls landed in the right spot would be pretty unplayable; this was a true greentop. It was fine bowling to get so many balls in the right spot (the English bowlers couldn't manage it), but it was a wicket where any score over 150 in the first innings was a good one.
