I'm a trained photographer that knows the challenges of shooting action so I understand how difficult it must be to film these planes in flight. Hats off to "Camera Crew" for the great job she does! 🙂
Brian. Nice bird. Sure was a pleasure having you and Megan join us at Joe Nall. Hope you can come back again someday and maybe have the rest of you lovely family with you. We had lots of fun. See you at Bigfoot. 👋😉
Love the P-47, my favorite warbird. I bought this plane, before it had a Reflex unit, but never got around to flying it. In the process of adding a Reflex now via SBUS to my Frsky receiver. So clean to be able to just have one cable between the two. Anyway, thanks for the flight review 😎
I've always loved this plane and still keep it on my "want" list. I opted for the FMS 1400mm P-40 mostly because of the battery size. The prefrontal cortex of my adult brain helped with this decision.
I love the fact that they did the Razorback version. The Bubble Canopy may have been better for pilots but it just doesn't look as good to me. WOW did that make a great slow pass.
Awesome flying Brian,. I love mine. After time , the connectors for the wings finally get worn down if you have to take the wings off and on for transport
HELLO BRIAN Thank you for all your videos and advice. I have the Carbon Cub S2 with the DXS radio. I just bought a DX7. Can you tell me how to assign the 3 flight modes, beginner, intermediate and expert on the radio. thank you and hello from France
Just purchased the P-47, any idea how to up it's performance? Motor, esc, maybe propeller? Back into R/C aircraft now I'm retired. Flying my 20 year old Saito 180 powered Ultra-Stick to reacquaint and hone flying skills.
Hey Brian. I’m an intermediate pilot and have yet to purchase a warbird. I fly the Trojan 2.0, Cherokee, and Maule. I am wondering what is your favourite, easiest to fly Warbird from either HH Eflite or FMS. I’ve watched all of your videos and still can’t decide.
Eflite I hope u are listening... release the P47 with your clip off wings like the Focke-Wulf. It'll sell like hot cakes. Oh and add a Spitfire and Stuka to that too please.
The P-47 had that distinctive deep cross section fuselage to allow ductwork for turbo supercharger below pilot position. Rearward mid section housing the apparatus for high altitude boost performance. An extremely large cockpit ( comparatively ) to contemporaries of the time. Messerschmitt 109, Supermarine Spitfire, North American Mustang amongst a plethora of other aircraft. Perhaps the champion of rugged construction and battle damage absorption the Republic Thunderbolt was a formidable opponent indeed. Air to air and air to ground combat with a variety of hard hitting munitions all in its scope of abilities. Heavy fuel consumption possibly its weakest point.
Hi Brian, don’t know how many followers you have overseas but can you not add European website links for people like myself to help out? Do enjoy your (including the camera crew 😊) reviews.
Did FMS resolve the problem with the electrical plug in connections on the wings? There's a lot of people on RUclips that have had failures because of wing flexing that makes the connector fail during flight! Another issue is not telling in the manual which wing fiber rod goes where! For as long as this plane has been around, they should have resolved these issues!
Thank you ! I have an idea for you ! Please ask Horizon to add your flying site to the real flight simulator ! We would all love to fly from your driveway & live the dream 😂. Ask for a Royality & trust me , we can sign a petition on your behalf we want the Flying site & will buy the Realflight as a result
Yes, work every day and that’s why I love this channel so reliable and such good information all the time ❤

Just be careful landing the FMS P40. I've had issues with the gear. It is a great looking and flying airplane.
Others have said that, too, but for me, it’s the easiest to land. Always smooth and very forgiving, even on grass.

I had the V1 of this plane . Flew great!
That is a beautiful model. The detail is stunning.
It flies so smooth, looks like a great plane to fly
@6:19mark...wow! Amazing ...look like a one-wheel rolling touch and go. 😅🤔
Still a good flight review of this warbird. 👍🎊
Great pilot. Skids or slips her on line just like we do in real life.
Good to see ur a normal working guy Bryan love the review on the p-47👍

Gotta Be In the Right Hole!!! Learning so much on this channel. lol
Truth! If you poke around too much, you could end up losing it!!!!!!! ;) Be careful out there!
Nice Video pal Thanks guys!
An R.C. Pilot that can fly any aircraft beautifully.😊
Tail dragger certification for ground loop avoidance.
How old is this video. It’s not long before snow flies

Maybe try using Geotex fabric alongside the driveway after packing it down?
