@ depends on niche as well if its football, i guess ur gonna get viewers from everywhere, but if ur talking in english the subtitles are english as well, and don't add phonk music( cuz that will show it to brazilians ). things like that, i don't know exactly but i got a 62% english speaking audiance, so what im doing is working i guess.

Please reply, I'm begging you! I'm from a non-English speaking country in Africa. I was using a VPN for 6 months to upload videos because RUclips always promotes my shorts to my local country. However, I couldn't break the 10k barrier. Could that be because of the VPN? Should I stop using it?

In 2024 I got a channel monetized after my youtube short blew with around 50M views
My RPM from shorts was the exact same for every single short… 0.01$ per 1000 views. That RPM has never changed (my viewers were from all sorts of countries, USA, China, Russia etc…)
After that channel got demonetized I stopped completely and am just now coming back again

@@Ricardoricardo7 the short went viral within a few days and it just kept rising, it was my best-performing short for months
This happened just a few months after my first upload on that channel
I also tried posting a long-form video, first one reached like 18K views maybe ? It’s not much compared to the short but it was a good start.
I heavily messed up with that channel, it’s unfortunate

You can get a "music deal" or just make your own music and publish through a music distribution service and use the music published in your own videos to get 100% earnings instead of a split the "music deals" will give you 👍
