currently on ptr tempered flames is 0.5% better dps on pure single target but the playstyle isnt fun so I did not play it

hmm hows fire feeling so far, judging off vids kinda seems a lil underwhelming but might just be warlocks being super broken haha
The fact that you have to track feel the burn, 2pc, 4pc (two different buffs), pyroclasm procs, skb stacks, phoenix flames and fire blast charges makes the spec not very fun to play. Regardless of how much dmg it does
@@Philwastaken00 Best part of this is that if you dont like it you can play frost that does nonexistent dmg even if you play it perfectly, I played fire entire shadowlands but it just doesnt click for me this expansion and I cant really perform with it :/
@@jachymu yeah i played fire through all of sl, and now it just feels like a worse version of sl fire. Frost still makes me fall asleep, and arcane is not looking very good going into 10.1
like other people have said yeah the new tier set adds a ton of new stuff to track and basically doubles the difficulty of the spec. Currently all mage specs are undertuned and im sure they will get tuned in the coming weeks
My friend, if I ask you, can you report that mage is in such a bad condition by opening a topic to the authorities on the blizzard mage forum? because they don't pay attention to us. Maybe they will consider you. Because as a pure dps class, it started to bother me that while the warlocks were constantly ranked high in the 2 expansion packs, the mages were in the middle and lower layers. They ignored us for an entire season and didn't post a single blue post in weeks. While there are classes that are much simpler to play and they do much better dps, shouldn't classes like fire and arcane mage that depend on rotation and require flawless rotation do more rewarding and satisfying dps? They either lock or delete the threads we open on the forums. Why would someone play mage when you can play shadow priest and warlock, they are easier and rewarding both in terms of dps and rotation.

@@davidpr9547 currently fire and arcane are pretty bad and frost in average. changes happen every day though so these answers might change
@@Hopefulqt I hope they care about you and show you the value we deserve. In 10.1 mages look really sad. We'll see the rise of evokers and the fall of mages. I guess they want to increase the evokar population (dps spec one). I don't think they will touch the mages until this happens. I think they will start working on mages after Evokers settle into S+ tier. This will most likely find the end of 10.1. Together we will see the rise of evokers in WF/MDI/M+/Raid. This is my theory.
