- The Master stages are actually pretty decent, except for stage 5. Stage 5 goes to show how jank the collision really is in this game.
Next up in the series and our celebration is SMBJR.!
This game is a watered down version of SMB1, but it isn't terrible.
This is basically the game where if you can't afford SMB1, this is for you xD - Игры
“Hmm, should we reuse the Banana Temple world for the Master stages?”
“Nah, just stick the monkeys in hell.”
Oh hey, it's been a while since I've seen your name associated with SMB! Seems everyone flocks to Cherrim for monkeys in balls.
@@NiGHTcapD He even inspired me to finally get the rest of SMB2’s OST uploaded lol
Master 1: You don't have a lot of time to lose
Master 2: The laws of gravity are broken
Master 3: The road is getting smaller
Master 4: This is it.
Master 5: Oh god, the last stage....
Master Stages:
1. Exam-D
2. Moving Checker
3. Double Curvature
4. Slanted Arachnid
5. Curtain Call
“Curtain Call” is taken by Super Monkey Ball Gaiden in World 10-10
@@Nbrother1234 For the record, this game came out YEARS before Gaiden. So if this stage WAS called Curtain Call back then, it would've been the other way around ironically enough.
Man what hellish levels.
beginner floor 07 is way harder imo
Master 1: Time Master
Master 2: Gravity Master
Master 3: Swerve Master
Master 4: Skinny Road Master
Master 5: Grand Finale Master
4:28 That was just unfortunate
Man the soundtrack slaps
The death pit consisting of a massive fire is very scary
Wierd how this is the first game to FULLY separate Master from Expert. I think Banana Splits did too, not sure if any other game did.
Edit: 2 and Deluxe kind of did it but considering the fact that the Master stages still played after Expert Extra, there weren't any bonus stages, the fact they used Extra stage themes, them not being in Ultimate if you use continues, and the Stage intro saying "Master #" instead of "Stage #", much like how Extra stages show "Extra #" in the intro makes it feel more like skipping to Master rather than having it as its own difficulty.
Edit: Now Banana Mania too.
Super Monkey Ball 2 did it, you can play the Master stages in their own difficulty after beating Expert Extra.
Don’t forget Deluxe. It also separates Master from Expert. Just SMB 1 and the original Monkey Ball you can not get Master as a separate difficulty.
@@Allanapolis83232 Deluxe was after Jr
@@Allanapolis83232, yeah Master in Super Monkey Ball 1 and the original arcade game is Expert Extra Extra really, as you can’t enter Master from the difficulty select
@@pichonj2344 Yeah, but you still get warped directly to the Master stages after getting through Expert Extra without a continue
Neat how Firey Volcano is the only original level theme.
Nah it's actually a lower quality version of the storm level theme from Smb1
@@cristinaclass9866 the background is unique but it does share the same song
@@cristinaclass9866 The theme itself, not the music
SMB Master: Heaven
SMB JR Master: Hell
I still can't believe they put this on the gameboy advance.
Oh god, Stage 5. I'm getting horrific flashbacks just by seeing that stage again. Most difficult stage in the game, and honestly for mostly the wrong reasons. I have no clue how I beat it.
Master Stages with better names:
Master Stage 1: Chagrin
Master Stage 2: Fiery Crossing
Master Stage 3: Deadly Swerve
Master Stage 4: Arachno Nightmare
Master Stage 5: Journey's End
I see what you did with Chagrin
Came here just to see the completion reward thanks to Mr lonely goomba
I wanna know how I beat this game as a kid lol
Después de tanto esfuerzo pasando esa madre para que te den un final todo feo...
Imagine these on GameCube
Master 1 was recreated on Gamecube in a SMB hack. Forgot which one though.
ohhhh
master doesnt have special stages or you didnt wanted to try?
Master has no extra stages.
