I imagine I'll see Sagats as often as Eds in this season. See ya in 4.5 where Sakura might get more mix-up options, while Juri gets an entire page of notes and an apology letter.
I always thought these kind of videos were great primers for getting people into fighting games that were a few entries in, thanks for covering the whole cast in such a short time.
I think the players that are dedicated to Sagat will do very well this season so long as they have some strong fundamentals. He's a character that is only as good as the player is and I think that's a true breath of fresh air in SFV. Also, thank you for everything! Your videos are always concise and straight to the point. See ya in 4.5 probably in another 3 months or so.
They didn't actually change his VT2 charged kick, they changed his VT2 forward attack (the knee move), it gives him some new light confirms such as cr.lk cr.lp f.HP+HK into HP DP
same, I don't even know why I'm watching this lol. I only turn on the game to get Extra Battle costumes for the day I might actually want to play it again.
Hey Bafael why is a slower fireball considered a buff for Sagat? I know for Guile he used to be able to walk behind his slow fireball, and the slower duration meant he controlled the screen for a longer amount of time.
It's pretty much the same reason. They have to jump later to jump over it, which is closer to when sagat recovers. Even if you can't really follow it in, a slow fireball is better because you're more recovered and thus more ready to anti air or throw another one by the time your first one is blocked or avoided.

Sagats kit is good enough for CPT ... players have to bring the skill to play him
