Hurry up with another video.!......Reilly...you really should be a happy chappy..lol..Elayna is the prettiest , funniest,,,sweetest sailing chic on the planet . Her voice , smile , mannerisms . and sense of humor not to mention her natural good looks.....Reilly you will always be a happy chappy ! Fair winds......
OMG...Elayna is absolutely adorable! I'm all caught up on current videos and thought I'd watch some of the older ones. If you don't have a smile on your face after watching this, you better check your pulse because you might not be alive.
You guys have gotten so much better at sailing and making movies but it’s so fun to go back and see where it all started. Thanks for the movies La Vagabonde family!
Look at all the negative comments! What rubbish! Two fun loving spirited Aussie adventurers living their dream. Fun to watch. Your enthusiasm and love of life is brilliant to see.
They are just living a dream. I couldn’t imagine. All I have done my whole life is work an raise kids. Thankyou for all y’all do. Texas is home. Yours can be anywhere
ohhhhhhhh !!!! They passed through the Canary Islands and not visited our island !!!! nooooooooooooooooo !!!! LA PALMA, beautiful island, the island of flowers .... The Bagabunda had been a flower ... the next time you go through the Canary Islands do not forget to visit !!!!! a hug for all three !!!!!
they're are both great. They are living mine and my girls dream and I look to them for inspiration as we take steps towards getting out sea legs and embarking on our own adventure.
What can’t this girl do? I’m 68yo Aussie and I just found vids I’m so enamoured 💓by these two I love Elaynas 🎶 singing I love seeing the old different cultures
Round number 2, just can't get enough of your videos. What an experience it has been for you guys, and how amazing these times are in which we can live it with you all the way. Long live la vaga, you guys are the best.
This is the first time in watching these videos and I'm imaging your children watching these back to back as children to know their history and then in adulthood when they're homesick and when you're all old and forgetful. Sometimes digital livelihood isn't so bad. I'm grateful for what the future has brought us in keeping time during the present
That was the funniest thing i`ve seen yet... Have not got a chance to watch your series from the beginning sooo until you get your new ride starting from the beginning.. Congrads on your new addition..
I'm not so sure people are actually concerned so much as they like to point out what they think is wrong. You two are adults and if you want to dance on deck without a harness, dance away. The whole point of the voyage is to be free to make your own decisions. I for one enjoy your videos and the inspire me.
If you sail a boat you might die yes... in the same way that if you ride a motorcycle, drive a car, cross the road, get on a plane, walk down the stairs or generally just do anything you have danger of injury or death. Doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do anything with your life just incase lol 🤣.
This is the best series I've seen on RUclips..two fun people with great attitudes no matter the circumstance..my wife and I are totally jealous but we love the videos, so thanks for sharing..hope it is an awesome journey!! God Bless
I like your videos, Elayna you make it seem you are entertaining us, the audience between you and us and Riley is part of your stories. Days before the new boat became more of the object.
this is my favorite video. Riley, you are the luckiest man alive on our planet. Elaina is the most beautiful woman in our solar system. hope all is good and can't wait to see y'all continue the journey. best to you both.
Been watching your videos and plan on watching them all. I am an old sailor (70) and have watched many videos. I must say yours are some of the best, You actually sail, You have fun and are just plainly a great couple. Thanks for your videos.
Remember that time when we could go absolutely anywhere in the world, with whoever and whenever we wanted too. God I miss those care free days.. Love you guys, I regularly come back to these early vids to remind me what it was like back then, When we were free.
Rewatching the whole series. Different computer and account same great adventure and couple. Its Great. Like watching "Its a mad, mad world" always finding something I missed the first time around.
Every once in a while an amazing channel pops up in your recommended videos! I just started watching you guys today and have subbed and working my way through your voyage!
Elayna, that little segment where you were entertaining yourself was the coolest, most creative/funniest thing I've ever seen on RUclips. You are a very talented/creative person with an amazing sense of humor!
I'm truly enjoying going back to the beginning of your videos and watching. Such a lovely couple also both very talented. Also the boys are beautiful. You guys are truly blessed. Look how far you both have came.
As others have posted, good on you guys for getting out there and actually doing it. Excellent work. Perhaps this has been said already, but an Atlantic crossing is nothing to be trifled with. You'll probably be halfway across by the time this reaches you, but two things: First, make sure Elayna can singlehand the boat. It's the men that go overboard on passages because they're the ones tasked with the dangerous jobs. Make her drive, tack, jibe, reef sails, head up into the wind, set the autopilot, work the chartplotter and radio, and park the boat-all on her own. Should you go off the bow, she's the one that will need to come find you. Absent that, she'll have to continue on to safety by herself. Second, when you arrive in St. Martin or Tortola, find a yard that does a lot of work on Benetaeus and have the boat hauled out for an inspection of your rudder, rudder post, and bearings. Half the charter boats in the Islands are Beneteaus, so that shouldn't be hard. It'll be an expensive ordeal, but even needing to do an on-the-fly repair to the steering system is a big red flag. Production boats are not known for their stout rudders, and losing steerage at sea cannot be allowed to happen. I wish you well and will try to throw a few dollars in the kitty. Hopefully it'll be 20 days wing and wing to St Martin.
I’ve watched a lot of your newer videos and finding this was brilliant. That scene where Riley’s sleeping and Elayna let’s loose is the best thing I’ve seen all year 😂
I posted a comment to one of your other videos about how I'm in university, and I want to sail around the world as soon as I'm done. Well, the dream is starting to come true! I just got a beautiful little 26ft sailboat. She's everything I could've ever dreamed of: hardy little pilot cutter, everything one needs to live on board, beautiful woodwork, and best of all, she's mine. I'm in the process of fixing her up, and then who knows where the winds may take me. You guys are inspiring, keep on sailing, maybe one day we'll meet in some beautiful anchorage. Elayna, you and I could jam together a bit! :)
TheMusicianGirl1 I definitely would have been well on my way to purchasing a boat had I not switched jobs out of the blue and which put me behind on my goals. but I am determined to get back on track, and disappear into the open water!
TheMusicianGirl1 Happy for you, go for your dreams. Do not listen to the likes of waterworldplanet Lin and Larry Pardey did it in a smaller, the pacific Sea craft flick 21 has done it . Back in the 60s and early 70s your boat was considered big.
So i subbed about 5 days ago and work my way through the back half of the catalogue because i always watch movies finish to start and now im here. Awesome stuff from a couple/trio of aussie legends.
Inspiring stuff guys. I'm about to get into sailing but can't imagine how much more exciting it would be to self-teach and learn as you go along, starting with easy coastal runs and building experience up to go further afield and on longer journeys. Half the excitement of doing something new is the process of increasing your knowledge through real life experience, determination, research and collaboration. If you're blessed with common sense and a spirit of adventure then I believe that is all you need to stay safe and make the best memories you could ever wish for. Good luck on your adventure and greetings from England!
ha ha love the peanut butter catch and Elayna's English accent :)) plus great singing! xx so cool - hadn't seen this Ep. ha ha and not forgetting the crazy dancing!!
Have never done patreon before but I decided to donate a little. I love this adventure so much, you guys are living my dream. Keep up the good work, thanks so much for sharing!
Meanwhile as Riley is asleep....Its a ParTy up in here!!! lol Love it :) please go to the Exuma Chain of the Bahamas so we can meet up....its so beautiful you won't regret it! ;)
Just started watching your videos today after I saw you with Kara and Nate...Loving them so far. Elayna, you have one of the best voices I have ever heard, and I have heard lots of people sing.. You should sing out at the end of all your videos....Could listen to you sing all day.
Looks like being bored on a long journey is still a lot of good old fun. :-) stay safe and keep those videos coming. :-) And yeah, not to be a bore, wearing a harness is indeed a good idea.
No criticism from me. I enjoy your videos because you both seem to be having fun. A little silliness is good for the mind it helps keep you sane and is particularly fun for us to watch. I even enjoy the singing. Keep it up and keep having fun. Howard
Just started watching the both of you this month. Had to see the beginning posts. This episode is a jewel! Watching Elayna entertain us and herself on the long sail is pivotal! I can see why you both are so successful. Great job and safe travels.
You guys are awesome! Keep it up. We bought our boat off the estate of a guy ( a very seasoned sailor) who fell overboard and was never found. The top lifeline swage gave out ( we think while peeing off the side) poof gone, never to be found. Our rule is if you fall overboard without a harness clipped in your dead. But even with all that history, truthfully we are also bad about wearing our harness in light day conditions. Be careful!! We want to see many more fun videos!
I just found your site I know i should have found it sooner but I am on episode 4 and in the next week I will watch all you have posted. Wonderful travel log and yes the eye candy is at my advanced 75 years is nice but i cannot remember why. Thank you Good winds and calm seas.
Great to see a couple of fellow Aussies living the dream, I am so envious of you guys. I've sailed the Whitsundays a couple of times and it was the best time of my life, freedom, I am really in awe and look forward to new videos of your adventures. BTW awesome guitar work and oh yeah, Riley I agree about the flapping sails. nothing like the sound of going backwards lol.
Good for you guys! I am sooooo envious as you are living my dream....... being with the one you love while sailing. I've been sailing all my life, have a 1965 Columbia C-40, and wish I had the means to just pick up and leave. Anyway, safe sailing, and keep up the great posts. I love watching them (as does my future wife ;))
this is my dream!! looks like a greeat time!! some day i will see you and the La Vagabonde out on the coast!! have a great time and be safe Yoours truly, Josh Sparks From Michigan!! USA
Happened to come across you watching Arrival in Lisbon yesterday.. Now I'm so hooked, neglecting every thing to follow your trip from the start.....Gorgeous people, braving the world with independence!...since I'd always been scared of sailing..although I took my test when we nearly drowned with two little ones in my arms...I realised alone I was not strong enough to tackle the sails...at least those early days without electronics!!
You crazy wondrous Aussie guys! La Vagabonde looks like a beauty of a boat, stay safe and wear a fecking life jacket at least :) Fair winds and keep living the dream.
God bless and good luck cannot help but think if I had the balls to pull that string and take that trip but that is why we have folks like you who do. Far from envy I admire your spirit and wish you nothing but the best
Hello Yea! from Canada Again! Wow you guys are great . Keep up the up lifting attitude because things don't get worst they can only get better! Keep singing and enjoy the moments!!! I was going to ask about the life line...always good to have when you are running solo in all wether conditions....nice to hear you are playing it safe.....Sorry for being a parent, we have two kids slightly younger than you guys and we always encorage them to expeince life adventures and its nice to see you guys are!!! Stay safe. John + Maryse C.
I just this evening started watching from the beginning, while working at my PC. This is an amazing adventure. Such a funny video, I had to stifle laughter while everyone is asleep here at 1am :D I'll go back and like all the videos so far ;)
My Wife and I love you guys, We started watching your channel around Ep. 170 + - and finished right up to Lost in NY City. So we are taking your challenge and going back to the start and going to catch up with 100% of all your trips and videos. You both are a kick to watch I'm a US Navy Vet form the early 80's many Mediterranean, Indian Ocean, Caribbean deployments, I miss the sea, but enjoy seeing places I have visited and sailing through your video's. Happy New Year 2020 to the both of you.
This video is hilarious. Elayna is a singer, dancer, and comedian while Riley sleeps! hahaha I'm definitely watching the rest of this trip. Good luck on the rest of your trip mates.
I don't smile often, but watching you guys makes me smile all the time :) I've watched the last 25 (or so) episodes, and now that I'm up to date, I've started watching the old ones. What you're doing is so inspiring and since I've used to sail single-man race boats in the past (Finn, which is a pretty demanding olympic class) I decided I will buy a proper sailboat in the future (when I finish my degree). Obviously the only right choice is a Beneteau :)
just watched ep.206 and i am now starting to binge watch them all. you guys seem like amazing people and i can’t wait to see how your travels went on!!
Hurry up with another video.!......Reilly...you really should be a happy chappy..lol..Elayna is the prettiest , funniest,,,sweetest sailing chic on the planet . Yes!
The wind in the past video is so loud, 😂 in the most recent videos is not even noticeable! 🥰.
After watching you both for years now…I can say that you have stayed your authentic selves…wonderful people!
You know, these early videos weren't half bad. Its your heart--hearts. You were happy. So we are happy with you.
ohhhhhhhh !!!!
I can't decide which I like best:
the sailing, the singing, the antics, the scenery, or the girl...
Oh, definitely the girl ;)
Patrick Wagz I wouldn't spend a minute outside the cabin. Just be doin it in every way.
Patrick Wagz definitely the girl
+Patrick Wagz
Stone cold hottie.
He is awesome also and I fly strait...
they're are both great. They are living mine and my girls dream and I look to them for inspiration as we take steps towards getting out sea legs and embarking on our own adventure.
you've got to know that many of us stuck ashore are envious...as one such...wish I could be where you guys are. Good on ya.
I think this video basically proved that Elayna is one of the most adorable girls ever.
MinnesotaMuggs just revisited the early vids to recall how precious and precocious Elay was in the early ones.
Isnt she? 😍
What can’t this girl do? I’m 68yo Aussie and I just found vids I’m so enamoured 💓by these two I love Elaynas 🎶 singing I love seeing the old different cultures

Long live la vaga, you guys are the best.
Wow so glad to go back and witness this montage of Elayna😂 charming
Im here for the fishing and the singing!
This is the first time in watching these videos and I'm imaging your children watching these back to back as children to know their history and then in adulthood when they're homesick and when you're all old and forgetful. Sometimes digital livelihood isn't so bad. I'm grateful for what the future has brought us in keeping time during the present
Haha! Oh my god, that's now the best music video on youtube!
That was the funniest thing i`ve seen yet... Have not got a chance to watch your series from the beginning sooo until you get your new ride starting from the beginning.. Congrads on your new addition..
You guys are so funny. I'd much rather watch you guys lose your minds!!! Keep up the great work guys.
I'm not so sure people are actually concerned so much as they like to point out what they think is wrong. You two are adults and if you want to dance on deck without a harness, dance away. The whole point of the voyage is to be free to make your own decisions. I for one enjoy your videos and the inspire me.
Oh and sweet stache
Exactly
If you sail a boat you might die yes... in the same way that if you ride a motorcycle, drive a car, cross the road, get on a plane, walk down the stairs or generally just do anything you have danger of injury or death.
Doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do anything with your life just incase lol 🤣.
LOL. I asked too soon. The thrower finally got it right. You guys are fun.

I like your videos, Elayna you make it seem you are entertaining us, the audience between you and us and Riley is part of your stories. Days before the new boat became more of the object.
This video just brings joy and laughter
this is my favorite video. Riley, you are the luckiest man alive on our planet. Elaina is the most beautiful woman in our solar system. hope all is good and can't wait to see y'all continue the journey. best to you both.

Perfect. I was smiling all along the video, very fun footage and 2 songs I love, keep them coming, have fun and be safe out there. Fair winds !

Shane Lambert same just found the channel and have been watching lots of their videos
Elayna, that little segment where you were entertaining yourself was the coolest, most creative/funniest thing I've ever seen on RUclips. You are a very talented/creative person with an amazing sense of humor!
So funny to go back and watch an old goodie! "E-lay", your accent has changed so much!
I, for one, am happy to hear that Elayna can't throw for crap. It's so annoying when girls don't have flaws!
+Sailing La Vagabonde I'm stealing that XD
+Sailing La Vagabonde oh my god thats the funniest thing ive heard all day:'D
oh my god hahahaa :'D
appreciate the trailer, if that had been in one take, I would have been really irritated that they are too perfect. on to ep 5.
My gosh, Elaina! You’re an amazing musician! You should play more in your newer videos! I love the vibe it brings. So cool!
going back to watch this journey, love watching you just jam out!
You guys seem to be positive minds and patient enough to be good sailors.. May God Bless you on your voyage..
STOP IT! not only is Elanya absolutely stunning she sings beautifully, can fish sail and cook! stop the fight!! lol
The food delivery method had me BUSTING!!! HILARIOUS!
Wow, those were some N1CE Tuna...!!
I Really Love 💕 the singing and guitar 🎸 playing you do Elyana, you should do it way more often 😎👍✅ 4:13
Moment "losing her mind with music" is one of the funniest moments i have ever seen in youtube!!!
I’ve watched a lot of your newer videos and finding this was brilliant. That scene where Riley’s sleeping and Elayna let’s loose is the best thing I’ve seen all year 😂
😂 Riley catching peanut butter sandwich @5:31
Same dream here, but still miles away from having my own boat.. Maybe one day my novel becomes fame and i can afford it ! :)
TheMusicianGirl1 I definitely would have been well on my way to purchasing a boat had I not switched jobs out of the blue and which put me behind on my goals. but I am determined to get back on track, and disappear into the open water!
TheMusicianGirl1 May I ask how much a boat like that would cost? I am from Greece and you can assume how much I'd like to get into things ;)
26 ft pilot cutter vs 40 ft stormy sea waves. Good luck! ^~^ I hope you make it out dreams fulfilled
TheMusicianGirl1 Happy for you, go for your dreams. Do not listen to the likes of waterworldplanet Lin and Larry Pardey did it in a smaller, the pacific Sea craft flick 21 has done it . Back in the 60s and early 70s your boat was considered big.
This was straight one of the funniest RUclips videos I've ever seen! 😆😆😆
❤❤❤
you guys make me smile....love watching keep having fun
boy…what a gem you are Elayna love watchn these videos what a ride
I love this couple. Having a great time enjoying the journey. Way to go you two. I love that you keep it classy
So i subbed about 5 days ago and work my way through the back half of the catalogue because i always watch movies finish to start and now im here. Awesome stuff from a couple/trio of aussie legends.
Thats my favourite video when Elayna dancing behind steeringwheel,so cute!🎉 Beautiful face young girl.
Inspiring stuff guys. I'm about to get into sailing but can't imagine how much more exciting it would be to self-teach and learn as you go along, starting with easy coastal runs and building experience up to go further afield and on longer journeys. Riley, I am appalled at your selfishness! Please share with us the location of the perfection tree from which you plucked the incredible Elena from!!!
You're one lucky bloke Riley and Elayna, I've a feeling you'll be a star one day; you're one talented young lady.
ha ha love the peanut butter catch and Elayna's English accent :)) plus great singing! xx so cool - hadn't seen this Ep. ha ha and not forgetting the crazy dancing!!
Who's on watch while Riley's sleeping and you're below deck Elayna? Looks like you're having an awesome time. Stay safe and keep rockin'!!
Omg... It was at 2016. You are great couple and team! I wish to both of you be together and help each other! Tailwind from russian fans! ❤️💪🏻
I just love her choice in music. Lovely stuff. She can sail with me around the world too.
This was awesome. I honestly think the more time you spent on solitary watch the more creative these vlogs become!!
Finally managed to get to binge watching from the start, I wanna go on the whole journey 😍
Have never done patreon before but I decided to donate a little. I love this adventure so much, you guys are living my dream. Keep up the good work, thanks so much for sharing!

You guys are so awesome. A real inspiration to all. Such a beautiful planet. Thank you so much for all these videos.
I am enjoying the series greatly and just wanted to say that the map music is such a top shelf pipe flute banger. Keep sailing!
Looks like being bored on a long journey is still a lot of good old fun. :-) stay safe and keep those videos coming. :-) And yeah, not to be a bore, wearing a harness is indeed a good idea.

I just this evening started watching from the beginning, while working at my PC. This is an amazing adventure. Such a funny video, I had to stifle laughter while everyone is asleep here at 1am :D I'll go back and like all the videos so far ;)
You two are great. Looks like you had a blast hope you have many more adventures you can take us all on.
New subscriber from your PKA guest starring. You feel are awesome.
