I've been telling people that. But some of the fans are just determined to hate her. Why did she bother to bring him back? Because deep down inside she still cared for big bro.
She wanted to protect her brother or she wanted to die.... Because according to this story before those shadow whatever came she was about to kill Firelord zuko
@@ajduran91adNo, they were friends, but when she became more and more embroiled in the war and used them more and more, that’s when the friendship started breaking apart. Even after all she’s done, they definitely would cry if they found out she died, but not at the same time. Mai would probably try to repress how much she cared until she couldn’t anymore.
It's sad how people often think she was a true monster She was and did many horrible things But we need to remember that she was raised by Ozai 💀 And had mental issues that over the years were just getting worse and worse
People forget the horror of Child Soldiers. She had *everything* stolen from her, all because Ozai cared for nothing and no one, and with his father gone, he no longer had any need for children to show off, so they were nothing more than tools, just like his soldiers. But because our perspective is from that of other children, so many just believe her to be a monster. They don’t see from above that she *never should have been in the Earth Kingdom.* She’s the damn Fire Princess, the last legitimate heir to the throne (unless Zuko’s banishment was overturned) she should have been heavily sheltered in the Fire Nation, not risked with only 2 soldiers to her command to hostile territory. Azula was just used the exact same as any other pawn in the Fire Nation. (Hell, I wonder if Ozai even did give a damn about her, I wonder if her name was irritating to him?) she deserves a second chance just like everyone else in the Fire Nation. Not saying give her the throne, but keeping her around to try to readjust her to accept peace, instead of constantly seeking war.
You know, i actually had a similar idea for Azula's death but it would happen very differently from this fan-comic. My idea would start with a rewrite of Smoke and Shadows in which Azula actually help Ozai escape from prison, hoping that by helping him regain his throne things would go back as they were before and she would finally have peace. For doing so Azula would still do the whole Kerumikage's plot, the difference would be that her plan would be to create a diversion for Zuko while the rest of Ozai's loyalist would free him, long story short it worked. After their escape Ozai, Azula, and the rest of Ozai's loyalists went in a place where there's supposed to be a spirit that would allegedly grant immense powers, so much so that he could even rival the Avatar himself. Once he get such powers Ozai immediately turned into his own loyalists, killing all of them, he was even going to kill Azula as well but she managed to escape, though she did fall from a huge height and had many of her bones broken. She was rescued by team Avatar and, while healing from her injuries, she managed to have various conversations with Ursa in which they finally come to an understanding and make up with each others. After healing from her injuries Azula joined Team Avatar to help them stop Ozai, wishing to get back at him for his betrayal. In the final battle Azula was injured by Ozai, she still managed to have her last laugh against him by shooting a lighting at him and thus allowing Aang to once again take away his powers, this time for good. After that Azula was taken by Ursa and, in her last moments, she had one last tender moment with Ursa before she finally dies in her arms. So yeah, this is pretty much how i would have handled Azula's redemption arc and her final death.
@@erickkisreal9398 My idea was to make that Ozai, being the evil power-hungry bastard that he is, was even willing to sacrifice his own loyalists and his own daughter for the sake of power, just like Griffith sacrificed Guts and the whole Band of the Hawks in Berserk. This would give Azula the ultimate proof that Ozai never cared for her and only saw her as a tool, thus giving her a good reason to redeem herself.
As sad as this is, i honestly think this would be a fitting end for Azula. Despite everything she has done, i do think in her own twisted way she did care for Zuko as he was that one constant thing in her life that treated her with care. And while she probably saw him as inferior and enjoyed messing with him, i do think she did want him to become strong. She'll never truly belong in this new world, so her taking the proverbial bullet for him would be a fitting end, as we see the kind of person she was ultimately in the end. And her last words to Zuko in regards to Ursa was perfect. I don't think no amount of time will heal the rift between those two. So Azula telling her mother that she tried not only confirms that Azula still believes her mother sees her as a monster, but she is admitting she wish she wasn't and maybe if she wasn't she would have earned her love. To Ursa this will be a reminder of her failure in how Azula needed her just as much as Zuko did, and it would prompt her not to make the same mistake with Kiyi. Zuko it confirms that in the end Azula did love him and that is how he'll remember her.
She probably would die though, lightning in its early creation was a one hit kill technique. Getting hit by it and not redirecting it would result in death(like with aang)
So do I; and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us.
I think she canonically has one in the comic "Azula in the Spirit Temple", but it wasn’t really that big of a redemption arc like Zuko's was (I haven’t read that comic yet tho so I might be wrong)
Me personally I feel like azula is not really evil evil she’s just broken and I blame that on her parents her dad was a piece of shit that abused her mentally and physically and her mom didn’t even acknowledge her as a human being, and all her dad taught her was war ,if her parents weren’t like that and actually cared for like real parents she would’ve been a much better person
I don't know if this is a fan-made or not but I wish for a better end for Azula. I wish she learned how to love and to be loved. I also wish she could start a new life without her powers, trying to help others and care for them. If this has to happen I hope she will rest in peace.
