Always felt this was right. Katarra and Aang would notice they have different life perspectives. Zuko and her share a hard past with the war while Azula and Aang have crazy expectations imposed on them

All bending is op if used in that way but water was most op used in the show. Fire bending made lightning but not metal welding because fire nation was the bad guys so not suppose to me innovate in use of fire. Most bending is used as a story plot element.

I mean, you can basically one shot with all the benders. Earth buries, fire shoots lightning, water with blood bending, and air rips the air out of your lungs. It’s basically just show logic that fights last more than seconds
