Nice video! I feel a lot of RUclipsrs haven't updated their videos of the Polyend Tracker since all of the amazing Firmware updates you have added. There are tons of new features that have been added since the release a year ago. This really is the best DAW under $2000+ imo and it only costs $600.
@@Polyend I'm finding it very useful. My Tracker arrived yesterday and I'm already up and running because of the very clear and helpful videos you make. The video manual has been delightful to watch through.
Does volume and pan take up FX slots? Or are they apart of an instrument setting? And is it possible to jump between events or do you have to click through every step? Thx😎✌️✨
Instrument settings that can be automatized via LFOs OR FX slots. There is a step jump and a home button feature but navigation is pretty fast for finding events.
Would love to see more videos about the midi out. Can you use this to send cc messages to another instrument? Obviously it can be used as a note sequencer, but if it can sequence parameter changes on another Synth as well (or may be able to in the future) then that seals the deal for me.
There's like... a lot of resources clearly answering your questions out there. Just to name a few ruclips.net/video/lMfeOLy-jSY/видео.html polyend.com/whats-up/rplktr-tracker-and-friends-jamuary/ ruclips.net/video/xcqVxAbmKp0/видео.html polyend.com/manuals/tracker/#general-midi-config
@@Polyend Thanks indeed for this reply, I was struggling to get the info I needed out of searches. Your link to the video with the Organelle cleared things up for me. Also for others reading this, the following video is very helpful: ruclips.net/video/2dQVv4_8-Fk/видео.html
Can you save several songs and load them one by one in play mode? I am interested in PT if it can be used as a backing track player/maker for me as a guitar player
It's a project/song at a time. But it's up to you how many songs you have in your project's arangement. Please check the online manual at polyend.com/help for more answers.
Hi guys, do you have any ideas how to set function "loop" on preview in the Sample editor / Recorder sample section? It is not the best to use the "one shot" preview if I work for precise clipping of the sample (CROP) For me it is essential to listen to the loop while I work on the clipping..
Can you play different patterns at the same time? Say I have a pattern of 8 tracks with all drum & percussion related stuff. Can I then play it with a pattern (of, for example, 8 tracks with all synth related stuff) simultaneously?
I love my tracker so much but i wish there was a lefthanded version. Being Lefthanded it's very uncomfortable to do most stuff with the wrong hand for hours or to cover half the machine with my arm when i operate the knob and arrowpads with the left hand.
Sorry to hear that but as you can imagine that would have been a very costly thing that would probably end up with Trackers and the whole Polyend popping out of existence. But we feel you on this, believe us.
Is that ‘maybe tomorrow’, or are you saying "may E tomorrow?" Because there are probably worse ways to learn this instrument than taking a bunch of E 🤷♂️ Could end up making some good music.
Only thing I dislike from what I see is that the musical notes seem to be difficult to locate and require trial and error. Would have personally preferred a small midi keyboard instead. The trackers on computer is easy to use, since you get used to the "keyboard note input" system, a bit afraid it's not the case with this one. I guess you can hook a midi keyboard to this?

Glad it was helpful!
Whoever is responsible for the look of this thing. Good job. It looks like a piece of art.
Useful video. Getting to grips with the PT I inherrited. Less scary than firering up an Amiga!
Oh man! Thanks! This is a great little overview! I’ve had my Polyend since the summer and love it! You all make some awesome hardware/software!
Our pleasure!
Using a tracker in horizontal mode feels blasphemous but man this looks like fun.
I gotta say, y'all are nuts for managing to put a fully functioning tracker into such an easy to understand interface
:)
This was the best overview for a device that i think I have ever seen. Lovely work! (Is that Isobutane we see here?)
Thank you for your kind words. We're glad you find it useful. Yes this video was made by Martin.

I don't understand why this device is so underrated. It doesn't get the love it deserves from creators and users.
The vintage market will tear this up one day
The first video where I actually understand what that thing does. But now I want it...
If there was the ultimate trailer for the Tracker, this is it 😂
This is awesome. Nice to see an overview to cover the fundamentals :).
Glad you liked it!
extremely well executed demo
Brilliant! What a fantastic piece of gear. Makes me wanna fire mine up right now!
Go for it!

The more you get familiar, the easier it gets, noice video
True
Ordered mine this morning. This will sit outside my main setup most likely, but started my music days back in the ProTracker era. :-)
Have fun!
Cheers! I have paid but the shop is going to email you guys regarding stock as they don't have any left. :-(

Reminds me on a MOD Tracker I used in the 90's

Nope, 1 pattern consist of 8 audio/MIDI tracks only.

We've imprisoned him. That's right.
