I've had my 6x45 for years and when loading 75gr I've used mid load for a 223 75gr and went up and it's well below pressure i do like the mongoose just get a little more speed

Gearing up for this wildcat. Are you using 223 data for this or 6x45 and working up?

I mainly use 6x45 data to start but if I can’t find any 223 data will work also

It's kind of a waste of time to collect date for a fireforming load that has only one purpose, to blow out the reformed case to fit the chamber. And wasting Berger bullets? I load 55-grain Dogtown bullets over 28 grains of H335, and it does a great job for forming the cases. I chrono'd them once out of curiosity and they were going about 3200 fps. Your data is going to be different after the cases are fireformed.

It would be if I didn’t want to actually do something with it plus helps down the line when I I fire form a lot more cases after these are shot. It never hurts to get a good load unless your not going to use it for accuracy. I took a coyote at 350 yards over the winter if I have the chance to do it with a fire forming load you best believe I want it to be good.

Most fireforming loads for most cartridges can actually shoot sub MOA and are not much different from the fireformed case for accuracy, and are useable for hunting and general shooting, unless something stupid is going on.
