What I love about the second phase is that it is likely how Gwyn fought in his prime. I finally beat the first game less than a week ago and jumped right back into NG+. Also, Dark Souls 2 is an incredibly disappointing sequel to the first game, and a lot of it has to do with artificial difficulty not present in the first game (strength in numbers instead of interesting movesets, ridiculous tracking, etc.). It's by no means a bad game, but if it isn't your thing, I'd still give Dark Souls 1 a go (and I hear Demon's Souls, DS3 and Bloodborne are also amazing). It's the hardest game I've ever played but it's also completely fair 99% of the time, unlike its sequel.
DS2 is the only one I've beaten so far. 😆 I've been playing Dark Souls Remastered but I'm having a difficult time with it. Regular enemies do so much damage that I get killed more by them than the bosses. To me I found DS2 to be easier.
It's kind of insane how many different moves this boss has. Remember in the first 3 souls games most bosses had like 3-4 melee attacks and 1 or 2 ranged or AOE attacks. SOC has 5 different weapons and he has like 6-8 different moves with each of them. Not even Elden Ring bosses have such versatile moveset. Although God knows what they are cooking up for the expansion as I'm writing this.
Demon souls: a slug on the ground Dark souls 1: a glorified torch hollow Dark souls 2: Sad tree man Dark souls 3: A complex amalgamation of souls of all the most powerful warriors who had made the sacrifice to preserve the current world order, culminating in a climactic and difficult final fight. I love it when he switches weapons for a different class. Makes me feel like he really is an amalgamation of previous warriors that linked the fire. And 2nd phase is a stronger version of gwyn. It's like cherry on the top
At the end they said "Ahhh, our onion Lord" LOLOLOL
Mr. Sleepy No they didn't
Mr. Sleepy I WILL NEVER GIVE IN TO ONION. POTATOES FOR LIFE!
Ah that big chungus profile picture. Unfunny people will be unfunny forever, I guess.
Soul of Cinder, ha nothing is as strong as the Soul of Onion
This fight had excellent difficulty, punishment, pacing, and was a fair nod to series veterans. This is my favorite boss in the game.
"Baby Smough vs Soul of Cinder"
Great fight. This is exactly how I fought this boss on my first run. This vid saved me time from going through another run. Thanks
2:30 legit goosebumps.
You didn't even dodge the wombo combo....
Sean Bone with this boss the 95% of my deaths was for dont Dodge the wombo combo
How to avoid wombo?

The memories of Gwyn Lord of Cinders
so sad :(
This hits different after playing the other soulsbourne games, as this boss here represents the final end of all things.
2:52 "I heard that you're a filthy casul"
2:55 "Begone heathen"
You should’ve mikir countered him every time he does thrust attack
"Wait a minute, this isn't Sekrio..."
5:17 = ULTIMATE Victory! :)
PRAISE THE SUN 🙌 ☀️
For those that don't know this boss is like a frankenstein's monster of the original Lords.
Gosh you ALMOST timed up the song perfectly between the stage 1 to stage 2 transition
Soul of Cinder: "I'm The Best Boss!"
Slave Knight Gael: "Hold M'Lady's Painting"
Did anyone else parry out of reflex?
i did once shortly after the music kicked in. Instantly i switched to a lord Gwyn boss fight and died for it
I know it seems so easy to parry when you cant
The Soul: Not this time.
When that piano is synced with Gwyn's juggling attack: So Fucking Epic
the impact for DS1 player when soul of cinder change his move similar if not the same with Gwyn, is just right in the heart. the game brings you back to an old memories of a duel, a duel you fight with an old friend long ago.
When I heard the piano I immediately started parrying
This fight actually just brought me to tears after not touching this game for so many years. God bless fromsoftware for one of the best final bosses i’ve ever experienced
2:30 the shit just got real
"Capua!! Shall -I- begin?"
Listening to the music and realizing it resembles lord Gwynn’s boss fights from Dark souls.......really hits my Soul.
Nice job in getting to the ending and finishing it! i tried Dark Souls 2 ........ not my game and it is GODLY beyond me also to every single player who finished ANY Dark Souls game...... you earned a massive thumbs up and a hug :3 good on you mate!
@@AmanojakuPenguin mate if you think DS2 is unfair then stay way away from Demon's
@@AmanojakuPenguin no no majulas the best
DS2 is the only one I've beaten so far. 😆 I've been playing Dark Souls Remastered but I'm having a difficult time with it. Regular enemies do so much damage that I get killed more by them than the bosses. To me I found DS2 to be easier.
I love the background song of this fight. The most deadliest fight and such a sweet song.
1:58
I love how synchronised that was
when i herd gwyns theme i was mind blown, awesome way to end dark souls 3. well done fromsoft
character class = taichi panda ?
Unfair fight, he couldn’t see you through the tears.
Gwyn: remember son, dying is gay.
Soul Of Cinder: yes father...
Nameless king is gwyn son
I love the way the boss uses all of our signature moves from DS1
Who will win?
A soul made of all the heroes who linked the first flame?
Or...
*One faTTy Boi*
When I played this for the first time, I literally started crying when Gwyn's theme started playing. Holy shit, I love Dark Souls.
So this is where atomic samurai's sunset move referenced
It's cool to see a boss so proficient in so many fighting styles considering what he is.
The boss that delays every single hit
*laughs in nameless king*
@@dumpsta-divrr365 him to
2:30 holy shit my man got combo'd on
In my opinion this is the best boss in the entire soulsborne series
It’s so cool how the music synced with the gameplay at 1:23 and 1:27. This fight is amazing!!
Demon souls: a slug on the ground
Dark souls 1: a glorified torch hollow
Dark souls 2: Sad tree man
Dark souls 3: A complex amalgamation of souls of all the most powerful warriors who had made the sacrifice to preserve the current world order, culminating in a climactic and difficult final fight.
Aka _G O D._
One of the best boss fights of all time and never gets old ;)
This game still amazing, thank you Fromsoftware! 🤩❤We need more game like this 😎
2:31 he got you so badly:-(
1:54 I didn’t expect the backflip 😭
This is easily my favorite fight in the entire serris.
2:31 i really wish my firelink greatsword has the movelist, so i can bash and kill gank squads
Ringed Knight Straight Sword.
LT + RB
Moves very similar and does a good bit of damage with good stats.
Once the Soul of Cinder starts pling pling plonging: "how many times do we got to teach you this lesson old man?"
So far dark souls had been the only game that could give me the adrenalin rush.
This hits different when you realize that’s your ds1 character
"Video games can't make you cry with three notes!"
Soul of Cinder: *plin plin plon*
