- Опубликовано: 8 окт 2024
- If you like the look of wavy patchwork but feel it's too much work. Try this easy method to make a fun potholder.
Contrast fabrics are simply woven together to create a unique pebble shaped patchwork design.
It looks like quilting without having to join all the tiny pieces together.
You could even use this method to make small blocks for quilt as you go projects.
The edges are finished with a binding and a handy loop on one corner.
It’s padded with cotton batting and Insul-Bright.
Great as a gift or sew to sell.

You do the clearest, easiest, most thorough videos I’ve ever found! You go girl. You’ve found your talent!
What a lovely thing to say. Thank you!🙂
I agree! And so many great ideas!
thank you🙏
I gree!
I’m going to love doing this method for a throw quilt. My least favorite of quilting is cutting small pieces of fabric.
Time to experiment 😊
You could do a whole bunch of different squares made this way and then join them together. Thanks for watching😊
I wasn’t going to watch, but I’m so glad I did. I can’t wait to try this for myself. Thanks for sharing such a fun idea
Glad you stayed. thank you😊
This is wonderful! Thank you for a novel idea in potholders! 💕
Thanks for watching!. Please be aware my video and photos have been stolen and used to sell plastic templates. I do not sell any plastic templates for any of my patterns. Do not get scammed

Glad you like them!
I’m in love with this project! 💗 I need to throw out most of my pot holders and make these. Mug rugs would be beautiful made like this!
Go for it!
I really like this video thank you for making & not complicating it with stitch in the ditch @ overly complicated mitred corners. Even ppl like me who can't sew a straight line can do this by using the decorative stitches on the sewing machine.💐💐💐💐💐💐
Thank you. Glad you like it. Please be aware there are dishonest businesses out there that use my RUclips tutorials as their own ads to sell bogus copies of my patterns. I do not sell plastic templates or anything out of China. Only patterns from Notches Sewing are genuine.
Do not get scammed.
@@NotchesSewing thank you for the heads up.

OMG!!! Thank you. There is a Facebook ad that popped up on my feed, selling a patchwork quilted template to make this… I wasn’t sure if it was a legitimate website. Decided to do some research on the website and Finally ended up on RUclips to find your tutorial and you’re not even using a template. You just hand drawn the squiggly line. I am so glad, I trusted my instinct and searched and found your absolutely perfect video.
Glad you did! Unfortunately there are dishonest businesses out there using lots of my content without my permission. They use my content as their own ads and sell copies of my patterns on their sites. It’s an ongoing issue I have ……………
I immediately loved the wavy material effect and quilted. Also, I could see this being done on a hot pad, maybe making a set to match with a pair of potholders.
